In our original series to commemorate to the Kargil Vijay Diwas of 2023, we bring you untold stories from the war. One such story is of how the Bofors gun helped India win the war and how it became a household term due to it's amazing firepower that people could witness on their television screens. Although it was not an easy task to take these mammoth guns to the heights of the battlefield in 1999, it was achieved finally due to the sheer determination of the men & the flawless training and application. Hear the gunner's tale who tells us how the legend of Bofors was born.
