great demo master, good job guys 🥇🥇🏆🏆 show the techniques on this UKE 🥋🥋 leg locks, toe hold, kneebar, bow and arrow choke, back triangle, chokes, gogoplata from guard pretty please thank you 💪💪👋👋🔥🔥
My escape for this, at least in the gi, is to grab the bottom pant leg and roll. Because the leg is already behind my head, I'm halfway out into a standard arm bar escape
what would this starting position be called? rather than side control, the portion when hes stepping on the hip, or often ppl weave in the inside of the thigh. at 1:12
Anyone know if the same set up would work from back mount from on top turtle? I’m always having a hard time finishing the armbar from there. This setup looks similar.
i have such a hard tome with this. i get stuck here all the time. all the other moves i have learned from Lachlan's videos work so smoothly. but this one i can't separate the hands.
You can always try to switch the leg position and go for a triangle. You can (try to) move the leg that goes into the armpit to the collar bone so you can spin through into a front triangle instead. I do that when I could not unlock the hands, but now I am going to try connecting the arm to my chest first, like in this video.
I always feed the need to keep spinning and finish back-to-floor, thx for the details !
This is my favorite move to do right now
Thank you for this video. I always get stuck here and struggle to finish it ( breaking the grip ) .
So awesome, my arm bar success rate has gone way up using the most basic parts of this
Great tutorial, thanks!

i could imagine the tarikoplata may be a better option from this kind of position in the gi for that reason
Great

Some people call it the arm saddle.

@@MaxEagleson and also the Choi bar
Same for me. They even lock their hands or they wedge their trapped arm against their own hip.
I started using the z guard pra recently and I have a lot of difficulty in this arm key, for short people does it still work against bigger guys?
Is this not a Choi bar
5:50 recap
Does it work , kimura to omoplata
Yep but I think usually from closed guard so your leg is in proper position to trade spots with your kimura grip
If NZ wasn't still run by Jucitler, it'd be pretty sick to go down there and train for a few weeks.
He’s in Australia
I'm going to regret asking, I'm sure. What is Jucitler?
