So am in LA away from home for work and always looking for a good seafood spot. I am glad that I landed in this video. I am actually waiting in my food as I am writing this. I told them that Rockstar made a nice video and I just had to try. They knew exactly who I was talking about and got all smiley and were repeatedly saying your name😂 . That was pretty funny and nice to see them getting excited about you❤. They even went to the back in the kitchen with your name. Oh my gosh...Chinese food is my favorite...especially cantonese...wow look at the prawns lobsters and crab..etc..love all of it ..wish I could have some now.. 💕💕👍👍

Drove 1.5 hrs to try that place. Ordered house special crab, diced steak french style, shredded taro w/ chives, salt and pepper squid and house special fried rice.
All good eating. Paid $185 including drinks. Nothing is cheap after covid.

This is also my favorite Chinese place for seafood. I love their crab, their fried fish special, their french style filet mignon. Their garlic crab fried rice..omg..yum. I miss them as I now live in Vegas, but speaking of French theres a little unassuming spot in Upland, Ca ( about 30 minutes from here ) that has the best..BEST BEST BEST calimari you've ever tasted, ask for it with white sauce. The places name is Le Chef. It's one of my favorite spots in all of Cali and I spent 40 years in Cali.
wait wait my bad it's Le Gourmet. In my defense the name has changed 3 times but the calimari hasn't.

I saw this place the last time I went to Mandarin Noodle House based on your video review. Now I gotta try this place as I have a fascination with anything related to Chiu Chow as I myself is a Cambodian. Lots of Chiu Chow people from Cambodia and Vietnam in SGV area. You made me so hungry lol! 😃🤤

Next time you're in Monterey Park you gotta go to Ravello Osteria. Who would've thought that some of the best Italian food in SoCal would be in Monterey Park. Pizza is cooked in a wood fire oven.

If you are serious about eating there, you can look on the website link for prices, since they change due to inflation and would not be correct anymore.
Taste of MP is on the same street just east on the north side of Garvey, 100 times better and price is much more reasonable along with better service, the staff is not snooty!! Born and raised in Monterey park , just tried out for the 1st time today, very disappointed.

It's a relatively safe area. I worked and lived near Monterey Park for over 20 years. East l.a. isn't as dangerous as people make it out to be. You should be fine.
