I agree ...Newport is my pick too ..like you rightfully said the four others were good too. But Newport is best...had my mouth running water...lol...very nice video...thank you very much Steve...🙏🙏🤍💚👍👍
I'm a first time viewer of you, great job giving us the best seafood restaurants! Got 2 work on editing a bit...can't rly just jump 2 a new place when ur in the middle of the meal and talking to the ladies
I would have eaten everything. I haven't had oysters since a kid. The lobster rolls, my goodness, even the octopus taco, lobster mac & cheese with the fries... my goodness! 😍😊😍😊
I went to Rappahannock based on your recommendation but when my husband and I got there, they were out of almost everything. Not sure I'd go back again. Also, Steve, check the audio on this video. There's a lot of distortion.
@@RockstarEater I've lived in the US for 55 some odd years; mostly in LA county and San Gabriel Valley. I've frequented the Newport Seafood Restaurant many times and enjoyed their house special Cambodian style spicy lobster dishes very much! Now retired and live on the beach in Thailand. I am now 81 going on 82 in December. I doubt if I'd ever return to the US in this life's time! Good lucks to U Rockstar Eater!
Yes. Made me so hungry and I don't even eat enough sea food, especially at restaurants. I need to get out and get me some platters, meals in Washington, D.C. and D.C. area. 😊😊😊
They must know your critics because ive visited that resturant and the amount of lobster you had in the truffle and lobster poutin in hands down double ...i mean they doubled all loster dishes
I would agreed the Chinese cooked the most flavorful seafood. No one could cook clams better. However, that fish would have been good if it was steamed. There is nothing better than steamed sea bass. Frying just destroyed the flavor. That was why Asian always cooked fish in water (steam) so it would stay moist.. I hated dried fish from cooking in broiler or even grill. I am Asian and I love fish odor, so I never liked any lemon or any sour acid with my fish. Lobster is the only item that I couldn't tolerate because of high purine even with medication.
What is your favorite LA seafood?

Very interesting...
Yow! Yum! Words fail me!
I love mignonette on my oysters on a half shell too! Does California make the lobster rolls with only butter (no mayonnaise)?
Sometimes with mayo too. Depends on what place you go to.
Been going to NP Seafood for 30 years now... the lobster taste can never be duplicated by anyone.
Love Holbox
Nice finds! You forgot San Pedro, but I love how SGV got represented here. Usually, its only SFV that gets love.
That fish market is great
Newport Seafood is one of my favorite sea food restaurants ! 😃

How do you afford all this food?
All appeared wonderful!
Ive eaten at Santa Monica💕💞🪸
For the Newpot Seafood. They puted too much MSG for the foods.

Boston lobster might be better than newport.
I had Boston before and Newport is definitely better
Picky cantonese food eater will never order a fried fish with lots of sauce, it’s used to cover up something.
