tobacco oud is so polarizing, robust and beautiful imo. reminded my wife of churros at Disneyland while being down wind from a fragrant cigar. tom ford is very much a real tobacco scent but has an almost gourmand feel to it.
Already available in the Middle East for 2 weeks , late March it should be available in EU, not sure about US If you like the line , be aware price hike is coming soon

I'll try Tobacolor , and if I like it, I'll buy it, even though my expectations are not exactly high. What i like, i already have, I'm stoked for life with 2 of each, big vintage La Collection Prive bottles of Feve Delicieuse and Oud Ispahan . There's no Maison CD current fragrance , that’s worth buying in my opinion.

There is a type of sumac that grows wild in the states called “staghorn” sumac. It has a red top that can be removed and boiled into a tea that tastes like lemonade. I wonder if this is the same sumac you described.
Tobacco Oud’s going to the signature line so you’ll be covered. Here’s hoping Plum Japonais does too (I could see it going into the Black Orchid bottle style).

You can find Sumac in all Mediterranean, North Africa, all Caucasian region, Balkan cuisines , and not just in the Middle East. Works great for barbecue, to marinate fish and chicken meat, for salads , of course rise too. Mixed with yogurt it’s served with meatballs and kebabs Cakes , puddings , tartelettes , as traditionally trained in Paris Pastry Chef I can give you dozens examples how to use it . All Pastry Chefs use it , often with red berries, I’ll stop here or my post will become too long. Oud Tobacco to me is a unique blend of humidor tobacco, a little bit of incense and fizzy , and sparkling Grape Fanta/Soda. Tobacco Oud on my skin is burned ashy tobacco with whiskey . By the way Tobacco Oud, I was told by a rep Tobacco Oud is gone for good, and it won't come back in the regular collection.
Roja Dove once explained that new materials come once or twice per decade in the fragrance world. And, apparently, with the rise of Dubai (with their oud-based market) brought oud to the Western world in the recent years, which was new to this market. So, expect oud to stay along for a couple more years

They’re DHL delivery has it being delivered by this coming Monday,pretty solid service as well. Looking forward to putting a nose on this,it is a blind buy for me but I’m very much into tobaccos,ouds,incense,ashy,etc and haven’t been let down by TF yet,can’t wait.
Isn't there an atelier Cologne that is similar to TO? Tobacco nuit or something? Either way I have back ups of TO and TO intense. It is fantastic in every way.
