Hi Sebastian, Great review (as always) informative, insightful and (mostly) complete and comprehensive. The only glaring oversight was the omission of Creed's Tabarome Millesime which (IMHO) is criminally under-reviewed and which travels so far below the Fragrance reviewers' radar, as to make it practically subterranean! Tabarome is a mellifluous, beautifully-blended classic for the, ahem, older, more sophisticated gentleman and, being a Creed ensures that its retail price is somewhat hefty but (unlike other, more heavily hyped Creeds) its longevity, sillage power-trail and "stage-presence" more than vindicates the ticket-price. I just added Daniel Jossier Ambre Tabac and happy. Herod doesnt last long on me while Pure Havanne is too sweet without much tobacco. Only a few reviewed on it, Tobacco+Booze. Love it! Hope you review it also.
Amouage Journey Man, Kilian Back to Black, Parfums de Marly Herod, Roja Parfums Enigma and XerJoff Naxos are absolutely fantastic fragrances (Herod and Back to Black for me are masterpieces) 👍😊
Amazing list, Sebastian and I agree with most of them. I'd add Franck Boclet's Tobacco, Rania J's T.Habanero, Amouage Boundless, Tauer Sundowner, and Frapin's Speakeasy are all great, too.
I have 200+ fragrances... and Mancera Red Tobacco is in my top 10... the opening is strong and overwhelming... so I get why it's off-putting to some... but if you give this half/hour to dry down.. the silage is really really beautiful... side note - IMO you did Initio Side Effect a great disservice by leaving it out of your list.. cause it's amazing
I am currently in love with Eau des beaux from LÓccitane. It is a warm tobacco with cypress, incense and vanilla. I like it because it is warm but not too sweet for me. Honey is a tricky note dor me.

Actually tobacco is also one of my favorite notes as well. I also wear Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford on Thanksgiving and any cold time after that. Great Fragrance!!
Thank you for all these tobacco parfums reviews because it's one of my favorite notes which is why Tom Ford tobacco vanille is my signature scent I'll wear it anytime. I also bought tobacco oud intense and this one cannot be over sprayed just one spray..it's a beast..love it. I'm guessing this list is unisex (prefer some male fragrances to me they last longer)..going to be checking out Mugler pure havana at Macy's

I am wearing a decant of Herod today.. it's a pleasant scent, but not one of my fav PDMs.. it has a simplicity to it that doesn't warrant the price tag... but that's just my taste

Great video Sebastian, as always... I understand that's the trend nowadays, but the vast majority of those are sweet scents and that's a shame... Tobacco is a quite bitter note, why do all the producers feel the need to sweeten it up like a candy? Same goes for the coffee note... Not every man likes to smell like an ice cream... I'm a little disheartened by what the market offers today. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍

Tom Ford Vanilla Tabac You featured that first one and to me it's number one from what I've smelled the way that I discovered it was I was walking through a sporting goods store and this guy walked past me smells so good I followed him and asked what he was wearing the rest is history. If I like a men's cologne I'll wear it and I get a ton of compliments when I wear that one
No Side Effect? Not enough tobacco perhaps? Three new one's that I've added to my collection are; Daniel Josier Ambre Tabac ( Amazing apple cinnamon like tobacco and Amber), Byron Parfums' Black Dragon ( Slightly earthy, green fruity tobacco with boozy vanilla feel, very interesting ) and Argos Triumph of Bacchus ( mix of a Red Tobacco and Carlisle but smoother ). Next up for me is Plume Impression Rivalite Imperiale.
Something about a good tobacco scent just drives fragheads wild 😍 Fumidus by profumum roma, Ryder by ex idolo and the don by xerjoff are among my favourites

I freaking love Mancera Red Tobacco- I have been wearing a sample from Luckyscent- I'm thinking about buying a full bottle although it has white musk in it which I don't like but I don't detect it in Red Tobacco as overbearing. I've tried Akro and love it; forgot it tbh. You've mentioned Aramis Reserve much. I've never smelled Ormond Jayne at all. I get migraines from ISO E Super though. I feel like the only person who has NEVER smelled any Roja Dove lol? Maybe the price is why. Like Clive Christian. I love Chergui! Alot of ppl say it is too powdery but I get more than that. Can't beat Lutens. Oh no - Spicebomb🚫ha all I say..Santa Maria Novella is just cool. I need an ashy Tobacco fragrance suggestion. I love the ashy Tobacco note from Tobacco Vanille but hate that the Tobacco is overtaken with all the baking spices. The spices ruined it for me.
