The next episode will be available sunday/monday instead of tonight because I'm having issues with the upload and it's Easter weekend (which I didn't account for :S) I'm really sorry, I hope you'll still enjoy :D

I'm so psyched to see a new Leftovers reaction. And yes, everything will become a lot clearer as things progress. As good as Season 1 eventually becomes, Seasons 2 and 3 are some of the best television you will ever see.
Every season is a masterpiece ;D
Best ever no lie
You're absolutely right, we are watching broken people. They are trying to deal with their grief and pain in different ways (religion/cults/self harm). Funny you should mention being lost a few times; Damon Lindelof is the showrunner of The Leftovers, and was a joint showrunner for Lost. Perhaps we'll get some flashbacks to help tell this story too?
Aaaaah I thought the flashbacks reminded me of Lost a little bit xD maybe that's why!!
I'm so happy you've started this amazing series. Enjoy.
Oh, you're that kind of reactors ! Thanks for talking right from the start, that way, I didn't waste more than three minutes of my time on this. Behaving this way with an episode of Pokemon might be okay, I guess, but not with anything good, and certainly not when it's edited on Max Richter's music. Cheerio.
Good for me, bye! ;)
You're asking so many right questions as far as people's motivations go. My questions when I first watched this episode were much the same. "Why did Laurie abandon her entire family?" "What is the purpose of the GR?" "Why did Meg join them after being so mad earlier?" among dozens of others. The show will actually answer a fair amount of them (even being as vague as it is currently is) eventually. That discussion about moving on, understanding, and being stuck without a resolution is right on the dot as to what's simmering beneath the surface. There's not really another show out there that tackles the icky feelings of grief and dread and confusion and just lets them stay there. I would say more, but I'd rather just enjoy your future discussions about these topics more to see where the show takes you.
If at any point you feel like you're supposed to know something, or maybe missed something, you probably didn't. This show is deliberately vague and mysterious. Especially at first. Stick with it though. It gets so damn good
Between the stunning music, the flawless acting, and the existential dread this show conjures so well, I'd suggest bringing some tissues. I think I've probably cried while watching this show more than any other series of shows combined lol.
I'll keep that in mind!! ;)
Just from watching this reaction, that music has me in tears again!
This show is amazing - I've really never seen anything like it.
From the first episode, I can pretty much say it's different!! Can't wait to see what happens next o.o
I'm late to this, but another amazing show very different but still from Damen Lindelhof is Watchmen (the HBO series)! I highly recommend it
Risky move, looking up actors' names. 😋
As a general rule I try not to get too hyped before I start a show and I avoid doing the same to others. As long as you're enjoying it and it's keeping you entertained, I think you'll cherish the experience. The first few episodes can be a little bumpy for some people - I hadn't made up my mind until I was about halfway through with the first season, so you appear to be well on your way.
Oh my!! I wasn't expected this video!!! You really started "The Leftovers"!!!! I can't wait for you to progress through the season!!! Damn... this will be ad AMAZING journey with you! I think it's the best TV show I've ever watched!
I've just started reacting to this and WHY have I never heard about it before? LOVE it!
Yes !! So glad you're watching this chef-d'oeuvre! Best television I have ever seen
This makes me so happy! It's my favorite show and I really hope you like it! Even though it got me hooked from day one, I fully admit it's kinda rough around the edges in the first season. Stick with it and it'll reward you.
you have never seen anything like this ever before on tv and probably never will again so enjoy the trip.
Heck yes. Such a weird and wild ride, can't wait.
Just prepare yourself for some gut punches and more fucked up shit. And humour. Lots of humour. Incredible show.
One of my favs! oh yeah!
So psyched for this. Such an incredible, under-appreciated series. Subbed, and very much looking forward to this journey.
Thank you!! :D I'm pretty excited about this as well! Let's enjoy the show together ;)

Interesting. A couple people I respect have told me to check out this show. Maybe this will jump start me into wanting to follow up.
It's really great and with just 28 episodes not much of a commitment anyway.
Wow. Surprised
I started this series because you are watching it, is really amazing.
best.show.ever
OMG so hyped! The music is amazing
22:29 Chris was onto something here when she brought up "Judgment Day" and it might help to know a little bit about it as you proceed down this Leftovers journey. Don't worry, it's not a spoiler because the writers contemplated that their viewers would be at least a little bit familiar with this mass belief. In fact, some scenes may not make sense without this understanding. So, if you need a refresher on it, just Google "the Rapture," the event that's thought by millions of Christians to occur on "Judgment Day." It'll help provide minor context and flesh out some of the PERIPHERAL strata of The Leftovers universe.
Oh I love this show
It was Thanos.
XD!! Oooh that makes sense!!
This might be tied to my favourite show of all time. I hope you two enjoy.
So far, we're pretty intrigued!!
@@kyuujinreacts It's pretty perfect. It meant a lot to me when it aired. You two seem intellectual so you will enjoy. I don't want to hype it up too much but it's pretty much a pretty flower peaking out in a forest of shows. Little known, very precious.
Hey, you 2 are doing alright trying to find the complex/niche words to describe the specific scenarios .
Thank you 😅 that first episode left us quite lost!! But intrigued enough to push through ;)
Hello guys. Damon Lindelof, who is the lead writer of this series, is the writer of Lost-which most fans find favorably similar.
Are you 2 going to react to Lost in the future? I would love to see your reaction to Lost.
Aah I wish we could, but we've both seen Lost years ago already 😅
@@kyuujinreacts oh no. I wanted to see the experience. On the bright side, you're a fellow Lostie. Nice to see you in the Lost and Leftover club. 😁
Yyyaaaaaaassssss
