Yea I have a nice vita collection with about 22 games I was VERY lucky to get them all before this. But two games I wish I grabbed before it was too late was Odin's sphere and Ys VIII. I had a chance to grab Odin's Sphere a few times at around $40ish buck but I kept putting it off saying I'll get it later I still have time. Now I'm kicking myself and saying I should have grabbed it. However, looking at my collection the ones I'm VERY happy I grabbed were Silent hill book of memories, Muramasa Rebirth, God of War collection, Corpse Party Blood Drive, Assassin's creed Chronicles, and lastly Dragon's crown. Those are some of my favorite on the vita, I still plan on getting more but the price has to be right and that's getting harder and harder to come by.
I had a Vita back when they were first released in the USA. Fun fact, I got it a week early by participating in one of their pop-up shops in Boston and as part of a preorder bonus and then a year in, it slipped out of my backpack on the bus. I had one of the hardshell cases that let you store 8 games in there. I had 8 of my favorite games at the time with one in the system and ended up losing sooo much money. Years later I got another Vita but vowed to store locally as much as could. I'm a collectionist at heart and love having jewel cases and cover art and I understand the dangers of digital-only but that experience definitely made me turn in the other direction.

For football fans and trophy hunters, Fifa 15 is a good get, because it cut the online mode meaning that all trophies are very attainable. Definitely low on the list of must haves as far as Vita is concerned, but thought it worth mentioning. Many on your list i am currently kicking myself for overlooking back when they were readily available. I think i only have around 50 or so physical releases (but a huge stack of digital - so i pray Sony never cut off access). Great list, and great work as always Sandeep
Already have all of them. Persona 4 golden, Hatsune Miku and Grand kingdom should also be on the list. HD collections like FFX, God of war and Sly Cooper collection are also cheap physical games.
Do be warned that the Sly Cooper Collection doesn't come with the 3rd game on the cart... it comes with a download code, which is now expired, so you have to reach out for a new download code, but if you buy it second-hand, I doubt they will help you with that.
@@DangerousDevilOfficial You can't reach out. I already tried contacting sony customer service and Amazon since I ordered it on the store around I think eight months ago and both don't have any solutions to help give a new code. Only solution is buy the DLC on vita or on pc

Hot Shots Golf is plenty fun. Lumines. PlayStation all stars battle royale, Sly Cooper Thieves in time/Collection. Definitely quite a list of games to recommend.
The must own physical vita games are bloody expensive. I saw the price of persona 4 golden. Not a chance im shelling out that type of money. Its more expensive than the ps2 version. Little kings story is a game worth checking out though. It has a similar game mechanic to pikmin or the overlord games. Great fun
I hate to say it, but Little King Story on Vita looks to be over $100 USD right now. You could literally buy a used Wii console and the Wii version of that game for much cheaper, haha!
@@baronhausenpheffer to be honest i never checked the price of little kings story. Its still cheaper than persona 4. But i have a jailbroken vita so im just playing the game from the pkgj store. I didnt realise its as a wii game either lol
It’s a shame man. It’s going to continue I think. Some games like uncharted won’t get too expensive because it’s so easy to find but many will get silly expensive
I agree bro! Some games are the price of collector editions current generation games! In the past 2 years I’ve built a nice collection of games for the vita and psp which I both got brand new in 2018
Modnation Racers - when you are making the tracks you can use your finger to draw the track's shape Sly Cooper Collection - keep in mind that SLY 3 is a digital code download so you'll need to buy it new but also keep in mind that the store is closing in July 2021 so don't wait Sly Cooper A Thieves in Time Ratchet and Clank Collection
What’s now happens to folks who buy a brand new vita after July, would they not be able to update their games via the online service & get download their unused DLCs, via the given codes.
I only got my vita 1000 last year and have about 20 physical games, quite a lot of the games on the system I already have them on other platforms. I wish I bought Muramasa last year but didn't becuase I have it on Wii already but when I decided to get a physical copy the price has shot up, so I downloaded it last night on the store with all the dlcs before it gets shut down.
Soul Sacrifice (Delta) and Freedom Wars are must own titles. Most of the other games in that list for me would be Asian-English games, like Gundam G Generation Genesis and the Super Robot Wars titles.
Great recommendations brotha ! I have a lot of these games both physical and digital. I'm going to grab a copy of need for speed most wanted though, haven't got it yet.
I'm hoping to play Freedom Wars co-op with a friend soon, got 2 copies 1 for !I Vita & 1 for my PSTV. Great list, I'm still trying to get DoA5 & World of FF. I also highly recommend Sonic All-star Racing Transformed! Probably the best part racer ive played in years.

Outstanding video as usual, man! I'm glad you focused on some great middle-tier games in terms of price instead of the "1,000 copies were made, go sell a kidney if you want it" set. Like many in the comments are saying, I'm afraid the prices are suddenly spiking for even a lot of these due to the closure of the digital store. (Gandalf voice: "That which I most feared has happened!") I do still have a number of these I really want to pick up, and thankfully most of them aren't too horrible on the cost side yet. Cruising for Muramasa on eBay for a North America cart has me cringing, though... I may either buy digital or just get the Asian English cart and (sadly) forego the DLC.
I don't know if you'll see this but I bought your manual for gravity rush, I can't wait to get it. I was wondering if you will do more than the ones you've mentioned. I would get 1 for silent hill, dragons crown and freedom wars.

I platinumed it, so I sold it cheap...
@@jimmyjay689 I got the platinum (digital version) but as I collector I would buy it if reasonable price lol
@@GustavoRimolo me too...but not sure what I was thinking 4 years ago...lol...guess I was into the Switch at the time, so sold off alot of my Vita games....now i regret it!!
Ebay might have it for a decent price. I bought teraway new and unopened on there for less than $20!
Thanks Robert and that’s a great point about FIFA 15. I hadn’t thought about the online mode effecting trophies
Only around 50 ?! I think it's not too bad. Lol
Could you list the 50 you’ve gathered & the genres they fall under ?
Great video on some great games
Already have all of them.
Persona 4 golden, Hatsune Miku and Grand kingdom should also be on the list.
HD collections like FFX, God of war and Sly Cooper collection are also cheap physical games.
Good picks. All those are getting pretty expensive now from what I’ve seen. P4G used to be so cheap and now it’s really expensive
Do be warned that the Sly Cooper Collection doesn't come with the 3rd game on the cart... it comes with a download code, which is now expired, so you have to reach out for a new download code, but if you buy it second-hand, I doubt they will help you with that.
@@KabukiKid who do you reach out to? I bought it new just recently.
@@DangerousDevilOfficial You can't reach out. I already tried contacting sony customer service and Amazon since I ordered it on the store around I think eight months ago and both don't have any solutions to help give a new code. Only solution is buy the DLC on vita or on pc
@@KabukiKid Yup, I don't understand why they made the code only last 1 year. When I bought my copy the code had expired by only a few months. The FFX expires until 2099
P4G and Odin Sphere are my favourites but they're getting too expensive rn
Hot Shots Golf is plenty fun. Lumines. PlayStation all stars battle royale, Sly Cooper Thieves in time/Collection. Definitely quite a list of games to recommend.
Wish you woulda shown gameplay.
The must own physical vita games are bloody expensive. I saw the price of persona 4 golden. Not a chance im shelling out that type of money. Its more expensive than the ps2 version. Little kings story is a game worth checking out though. It has a similar game mechanic to pikmin or the overlord games. Great fun
Yeah P4G has become really expensive recently
I hate to say it, but Little King Story on Vita looks to be over $100 USD right now. You could literally buy a used Wii console and the Wii version of that game for much cheaper, haha!
@@baronhausenpheffer to be honest i never checked the price of little kings story. Its still cheaper than persona 4. But i have a jailbroken vita so im just playing the game from the pkgj store. A lot of the games are deffo ones to keep an eye out for in charity shops. Although strangely iv never seen a vita game in a charity shop. Iv bought a few Ps4 games from there. But never vita. I didnt realise its as a wii game either lol
I have all these games in my vita collection 😁
Nice!
Also check out your local game stores, (not GameStop) if you have one. I found the first danganronpa for $45. Never know what you’ll find
Buying the games seperatley for vita cost too much, so I bought the trilogy pack for PS4 for the cost of just 1 of the games on Vita.
@@leerichmond9629 yeah that’s definitely the way to go
Makes sense
Why doesn't Sony make a new handheld?
Hey won’t support the devs, so no need to attempt it
really annoying that I can't find Gravity Rush but I can easily find Persona 4 for cheap 😆
edit: I GOT ONE BOYS 😆
In the US, almost every vita game is expensive right now. eBay prices have shot up 20-50% over the last month.
It’s a shame man. It’s going to continue I think. Some games like uncharted won’t get too expensive because it’s so easy to find but many will get silly expensive
I agree bro! Some games are the price of collector editions current generation games! In the past 2 years I’ve built a nice collection of games for the vita and psp which I both got brand new in 2018
It is stupid since every Vita game can be downloaded from the web.
@@asylum1166 can you do a video to show them off or list them all here at least?
Modnation Racers - when you are making the tracks you can use your finger to draw the track's shape
Sly Cooper Collection - keep in mind that SLY 3 is a digital code download so you'll need to buy it new but also keep in mind that the store is closing in July 2021 so don't wait
Sly Cooper A Thieves in Time
Ratchet and Clank Collection
Good picks.
What’s now happens to folks who buy a brand new vita after July, would they not be able to update their games via the online service & get download their unused DLCs, via the given codes.
@@1anre Chances of finding these games brand new are slim. But like I commented before don't waste time if you want the games. August 2021.
Amazing work you do, the genuine love you and everyone here has for this wonderful handheld clearly shows. Great video as always.
Thanks Daniel
I only got my vita 1000 last year and have about 20 physical games, quite a lot of the games on the system I already have them on other platforms. I wish I bought Muramasa last year but didn't becuase I have it on Wii already but when I decided to get a physical copy the price has shot up, so I downloaded it last night on the store with all the dlcs before it gets shut down.
Nice. The DLC is great and Vita exclusive so that’s a good pick to own
Soul Sacrifice (Delta) and Freedom Wars are must own titles.
Thanks Dylan. It’s such a brilliant game. It’s one I just keep on my vita all the time because it’s so good
I'm hoping to play Freedom Wars co-op with a friend soon, got 2 copies 1 for !I Vita & 1 for my PSTV.
Great list, I'm still trying to get DoA5 & World of FF. I also highly recommend Sonic All-star Racing Transformed! Probably the best part racer ive played in years.
Pls tell if physical copies of old ps vita games still made?
No unfortunately not. Play Asia had a reprint of a few games recently but you won’t find games reprinted anymore unfortunately

In your opinion what physical games are in most need of a patch,as I've been collecting games for years and keeping the best ones for when I retire instead of wine and whisky I've been collecting games"bus driver retiring at 55,30 months to go"so while I can get the patches your advice would be very welcome.
Very good question, & if the store shutting down wouldn’t affect the patches being able to get downloaded, that would give you even further runway.
These sound like neat physicals.
I have God of war, Spider-Man, jack and dexter collection and ratchet and clank collection. Still trying to find more 😁😁
Nice!
Marvel vs capcom, dragon crown and some of the hd collection as well.Like GOW and metal gear.
I got Velocity 2x because the box says that it includes some nice stuff (got it new from EB Games), however the box had just the cartridge and nothing else. I searched for more info and other people had the same issue, so be advised if you are planning to buy this game, it does not come with what it says the box.
Great video, do a video on digital games and dlc to buy before august. Thanks. I am only missing two games out of that list. I am going to buy them soon.
I actually did videos on these recently:

That’s a shame. If you can get them ordered from the rest of Europe, many of the games are pretty common
@@2old4gaming i would, but my only vita has an sd2vita 64gb, and that was the reason I sacrificed the card reader
When the lbp servers go down it will be a sad day, definitely my favourite game as a kid.
Agree. I hope Sony don’t shut servers down too soon

If they can't afford, there's always the pirate part (aka Surprise Game Preservation, if you modded your PS Vita).
Bards Tale Remastered and Resnarkled is an epic game. It's only $9.99 digitally, but around $60 physically.
why must i own physical version? whats the difference if i just have digital version?
Physical games take up less space on your memory compared to digital games
One game I kept in my collection even when I got rid of my Vita was Silent Hill book of memories I knew it will become a really sought after game all these year's later
How long & interesting is the story, isn’t it scary horror?
Can you say the updates of what all new games are comming to ps vita
Most of those games are already expensive in the US
I've had my vita since launch day and I loved it to bits. I used to play it every day. But since the switch came out, I've not touched my vita which makes me slightly sad.
That is sad haha. Should stock up on some games before the digital store closes down my friend. Switch is cool, but I still prefer the vita over it. I have both too haha

Not much, but got most of my games between 2012-2016, lost interest in my vita after that period so didn’t look forward any newer games, & Sony didn’t help by not releasing cooler games for it, now I’m seeing prices of physical are about to skyrocket, I’m kind of sad I didn’t get all the games I wanted back then.
Killzone: Mercenary, Uncharted, Ninja Gaiden Sigma are high on my to-get list.
