Good to see young guys out of wanganui doing it. You must be doing something wrong if your saying it's not always this productive. Wanganui is a great fishery 35 years I've fished out of there and cant remember a bad day. Though usually fish graham banks. If heading straight out head to 40m mark regularly catch groper over the low tide

It's our favorite place to go. Usually get a good catch. Still learning weather, times to go fishing and how far.

5m alli craft with a 45 hp honda. An old boat. But certainly ticks along. 30kph cruising.
