Thanks Matt. I bought several of these when they first came out but I haven’t really fished them at all. I wasn’t really sure how to work it so it just sat in my tackle box. I will definitely be putting them to use now.
I've been using since spring...I'm doing really well with it....this fall I'm learning how to fish it in a big river . Pounded cohos this spring on Lake Michigan!
They are soon comin to sweden, but I actually orderd a few back in jan when they launched in the us. Used it in the river. I can fish it near logs and debree and keep it in the strikezone withou the current mess with it. Usaly bern usin the 5, using the 7/9 in more open water. Will probably pick up a 7 in firetiger when they launch in sweden. Looking forward to learn some more. :)
I bought several when they first came out used them several times on lake geneva with no fish boated but it dose look awesome in the water even tried it on the Harris chain not goi g to give up on it thanks for the Info Matt
I caught my first couple fish of the kayak season on the 5 version of this bait back in March. Nothing as nice as that smallie, just a couple of small Tablerock spots and a crappie or two. Thanks for the tips. I was just winging it doing more of a twitchy thing. I'll try some more of the gliding action. You can cast that thing a mile if you see fish out busting.
I was gonna comment on the last few videos if you were using it or gonna make a video on it because I've had one tied on all fall lol. I use the finisher in place of the soft/hard jerk bait majority of the time and get a lot more bites. I caught a 37-40 inch musky on the little finisher 5 the other day, thought I had the world record smallmouth 😂. The 9 has been working good for walleye also.
These are the gloves and they are AMAZING! www.avantlink.com/click.php?tt=cl&merchant_id=770c28fe-5a8c-46f3-acab-5dc176d4f23c&website_id=8a299942-1f4e-4559-8dd7-44abebc0c842&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstrikerbrands.com%2Fcollections%2Fmens-winter-accessories%2Fproducts%2Fstriker%25C2%25AE-wool-glove
Sold! These are the kind of video's I really like. The educational kind. I know its a educational/promotional thing, but this is a good looking bait. How would, or would it matter, it perform with baitcasting gear?
Nice tutorial on how to fish thins bait. I tried it a few times with no success it looks good has great action, I just don’t have any confidence in it.
I've tried to use mine, but I think I've had a snap on it which allows it foul hook the line on basically every cast...i wonder if that is the snap or maybe I'm giving it too much slack? I will try it again next year using your technique and see if I can get it to work. Thanks for the video!
Can this be used to scope ? Many guys here in East Tennessee are scoping in early spring with suspending deep Jerkbaits . Could this bait be used for that?
I work at Bass Pro and checked today. As of right now they are online only and have not hit the distribution centers yet. Hopefully they will hit soon to start going out to the stores. I am looking forward to having them in store. Unfortunately my wife may not since I will probably be buying more then I need of them. LOL
I bet you use at least 90% of all baits made from Berkeley Matt 😄 and bud I don't blame you because I am a huge fan of all Berkeley baits myself. Thanks Matt great video and tips on this jerkbait 👍🏻
No one knows how this bait works, hopefully it end's up in the discount or clearance bins so I can buy them all 😂. Theres no videos about it because its kept as a secret 😅.

I’ve been waiting for some direction on this one. I’ve thrown it a couple times but figured I wasn’t using it to its full potential
Glad to help!
Thanks Matt. I bought several of these when they first came out but I haven’t really fished them at all. I wasn’t really sure how to work it so it just sat in my tackle box. I will definitely be putting them to use now.

Yes you can
I wish this video was made a lot sooner before the last local tournament in Oct., I would’ve given it a try on the marked spots on our local lakes
Sorry

How would, or would it matter, it perform with baitcasting gear?
You can use it on it but i think it’s easier to work on spinning gear
Never heard of this bait before. Interesting
It’s new this spring no but so good
Nice tutorial on how to fish thins bait. I tried it a few times with no success it looks good has great action, I just don’t have any confidence in it.

Berkley specifically recommends tying direct
This bait reminds me of my ripstop but faster drop. I caught a bunch of smallies on them and even a walleye
They work great
Are you guys gonna make the Core carpet decals and/or stickers available?
We give decals away with each website purchase
I just got some of the finisher in 3 in going out tomorrow and try them
Awesome
I bought the 50 mm one , first throw got snag lost the bait , what would be the best retrieve from the bank in cold water ? Thenk you Matt ! 🎉
Upward consistent movement
Are you using fluorocarbon or braid with a leader?
fluorocarbon
Can this be used to scope ? Many guys here in East Tennessee are scoping in early spring with suspending deep Jerkbaits . Could this bait be used for that?
yes it was made to be used with FFS but also excels without it
I have the 3 inch model
Nice!
I crush them on the finisher it’s awesome
Yes it is
I saw some Core tackle products on Bass pro website but not the full line of products. Do you know if they will carry the full line any time soon?
I hope they do but i don’t know anything more than that
