Not sure why people are so against me having the Red Sox in the #1 spot
If you had actually done that I think you would have had a riot on their hands
LAD 6-9 hitters are abysmal and none of this matter as a Phillies fan just win the fking WS
Just starting to listen. Always catch some interesting nuggets. Like last week I learned "Corbin Burnes can't hold runners on base."
I don’t think Juan will take anything over a 10yr deal. He’s just gonna turn it down like the nationals deal.
These are great
Oof Robbie, I can sense the internal mourning of losing Chris Sale in that trade, especially paired with his monster season so far with the Braves. My condolences.
Side note, I really hope my cubs' offense heats back up soon (and the bullpen keeps themselves from blowing saves). The starters, Imanaga and Assad especially, have earned that much at least.
Sorry I couldn't make the chat, but you're right, the Astros are a late Teens/early 20's team right now, I really do think they get higher as the season progresses. But for right now you are correct.
Trea was really hot before he got injured. Phillies seem to be fine without him. Pretty scary. Now just need Walker to be moved out of the rotation
Man, I’m with soundfx 100%. I know it isn’t the same as last year but the offense needs to step it up. I’m worried. Great rankings. I have no argument except that the Red Sox should be number 1.😊
30 teams... 11 with winning records. Congrats comment section for slandering the Phillies when you have no clue what you're talking about. This team wins against the teams they should be winning. They are doing it in a historic fashion as well.
people will probably drop Cleveland to #10 when they catch up to the "#1" Yankees that they're 0.5 games behind for the best record in the AL.....
Yankees + Phillies should be tied for 1st IMO with the Dodgers barely behind.
Keep discrediting the Phillies through strength of schedule (not Robbie, talking to the Braves and Dodgers fans). Once that goes out the window, what's the next excuse? Braves got they ass beat by the Padres, which weren't comp when the Phillies swept them, so what now???
If franking the Padres who are playing only about ,500 ball and ranked here #11 doesn't light a fire under them, nothing will.
The record is mediocre although there are flashes of being much better
Phillies have only played 1 series verse a team over .500…. Just saying. GO ROYALS!! EDIT… and the Phillies lost that series.
How do the Twins constantly forget how to play good baseball when they play the Yankees? 26 straight scoreless innings. Yikes!
And I totally agree with the White Sox in 30. And it not just that they got swept, but how they got dominated all three games.
That was the problem in 2019, Diaz just couldn’t put hitters away with his slider, it was just getting hammered.
The Yankees #3, and the Phillies #1? I have to disagree. Yankees over the Phillies easily. Yankees have had a harder schedule, and are only a game behind the Phillies for the best record in all of MLB, and the Yankees straight dominated their opponents with back to back sweeps. Of that’s not a number one team, what is?
lol you’re on something. Love these biased dodgers fans who don’t watch anyone else.
I would rank Baltimore ahead of Yankees
Took 3 of 4 against them
Baltimore has a better record against over .500 teams
AND oh boy…. Yankees swept CWS lol
Orioles have played over .600 since 5/2022
That’s consistent
Haven’t lost more than two games in a row yet this year
Not aating they have to be number 1 but ahead of Yankees for sure
And Phillies
@@perrycountyhomestead I can definitely see why you would put the O’s first, but the Yankees record against teams over .500 is 15-7, the O’s is 13-6. And yes they swept the CWS, but the swept the Twins just before that, the Yankees are 8-2 in their last 10 games (yes those last 3 games are against the CWS) the O’s are 6-4. And ever since the Yankees played the O’s they have been a complete team. I get why you think the O’s should be number one. And if the Yankees weren’t playing as well as they are I would agree but… I can’t. Not saying the O’s aren’t a fantastic team. The most certainly are and top 2 in baseball for certain
Right choice at #1 I'm sorry but Phils are better
The Phillies are easily number one.The Dodgers are soft, COVID-19 championship not withstanding
Phillies only have 2 wins vs teams above 500 🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣 that's trash
The Phillies haven't played a team over .500 since the Cincinnati series, which the split, spanning 8 series 😂
Here we go 😂
@@rhyde p.s. 1 and 2 against teams over .500.
So out of 48 games, only 3 were against winning teams.
Talk about a soft ass schedule 😂
@rhyde excise me 4 and 2.
Compare that with the Orioles who are 13 and 9 against teams greater than .500, which means nearly half of their games were against winning teams.
@@Quanic2000and the Yankees are 15-7 against team over .500. And they have back to back sweeps! And those sweeps weren’t close, they *dominated* the Twins and CWS.
@@Quanic2000hey buddy if you pay attention instead of reading headlines you would see that a few of those sub .500 teams are sub .500 cause they lost to the Phillies 3+ times. Also they are blowing out teams routinely.
Yankees have better pitching over the dodgers nd Phillies
I think there’s a strong argument for the Yankees to be at #1. I’ll be keeping a close eye on them this week.
Phillies have gone 24 straight games vs teams under 500
Here they come
Exactly
Omg stop,it's not football! The teams they are beating are the teams the braves lost to.when they sweep Texas what will you say then?
@JohnnyLaps braves losing 2 or 3 games to a losing team is not the same as playing 24 straight games vs teams with a losing record lol
The Astros beat the brewers not AZ
Mentioned later in the stream I goofed that part
@@rhyde man love your content. You are a must when it comes to my baseball diet. You are straight up and I respect that. You don’t favor teams, you just present the facts and stand on them and that is refreshing. Great job sir🫡
@@realmenstandup8944really appreciate that sir! 🫵❤️
It's foolish to rate a team solely on its record without considering who they've actually played.
Both the Phillies and the Dodgers have played a very, very, soft schedule compared to the Yankees and Orioles. The Yankees or Orioles deserve to be either one or two based on their records and their level of competition.
love how Cleveland doesn't exist
