it's so tough, i love jolly in videos both as a player and a host. but i genuinely think the videos come out SO MUCH CLEANER when he's a host. also just nice to not have the same player in every video
The last category reminds me that a key is to go as old as possible. Everyone on this channel pulls relatively recent names. Multiple Cy Youngs? Go Seaver or Koufax. Also, you shouldn't have to look up Frank Robinson to see if he has multiple MVP awards, given that he very famously has two.
@Cabaret43 Yeah, that's true. It's not so much "toxic" as it is "constant." But in every video I've seen with him in it, he's competing like Brady in a Super Bowl.
This is a cool format. I played along and kept score. I also subtracted scores of the players when I matched them. Ultimately, Dalton had -2 for a 2 pointer i had, Joez had -7 with us each having a 3 and 4 pointer taken away and Ryan had -4 taking a couple 2 pointers away from me. Final score had me and Ryan tying with 17. Schmidt, Musial, and Mays in the last round saved me with an 8 point round.
I didn't do their math along with it but my biggest sneak picks were Pittsburgh and Detroit in the first round. I also had the Blue Jays but Joez had them
This is exactly how I play along. In my version Ryan had 16 and i landed right behind at 15. Totally botched the last round, Ruth only has One MVP to his name?
Interesting new format. Adds a different layer. Can’t say I like it better or worse than the normal round, but definitely something different to keep in the rotation. Great stuff JM.
Scoring change is great! I play along, and I finally won with 31 points. I got the Pirates and Tigers for 9 points in the first round, then got 12 points in round 2 all with pitchers from the 60s and 70s.
I somehow finished with 42 points that includes subtracted points. Only minuses that i needed to keep in mind was a -4 on joez for naming baltimore in the all stars round and a -2 on ryan for naming the phillies
Surprised nobody went old Yankees for mvps. Everyone always guesses recent. Berra, mantle, DiMaggio, maris gets you 11. Prob still have to defend Bonds though. Also with this format going with 1-2 all stars, WS, etc while playing defense on the major teams is probably the best strat.
It’s fun to play along at home. And even though I don’t know baseball like that I smoked yall. Keep in mind though I don’t count the ones I got with another player. My points were 23, Ryan and Joez got 13, and Dalton with 8 lol. Me and Joez were not on the same wave length.
I just know of Juan Gonzalez having 2 sneaky mvp seasons. I like the new format. I was gonna say to keep it close on other categories like over 40 Homer seasons or strike outs over 200. you could only count the number over that spot. so if they had 211 strike outs it would be 11 points only, and Homeruns at 48 would be 8 points. Enjoy the videos!!!
Played against the boys, only counted my points if one person and one person alone had it or nobody had it, First round: Cards A's Giants Phillies Red Sox 1 point for Phillies Second Round: Koufax Gaylord Perry Pedro Martinez Kershaw Randy 3 for Koufax, 2 for Gaylord Perry and 3 for Pedro Third Round: Astros Blue Jays Braves Phillies Mets 3 for Astros, 5 for Blue Jays, 2 for Phillies and 2 for Mets Fourth Round: Bryce Harper Barry Bonds Alex Rodriguez Shohei Ohtani Johnny Bench 2 for Harper, 3 for A-Rod and 2 for Shohei Finished with 29 points so I'll take a nice W
Yoooooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣The Sonic Rings sound when they get points is the notification sound on my phone... 🤣🤣🤣 I was listening to this video, and kept saying who is texting me ...
Yeah, the problem with this format is you have to name the clear leaders, because it's too big a risk/reward proposition if you don't. Plus, I have a feeling you'll have a difficult time balancing the number of available points.
I feel like I was lucky that I scored a 29 and that was subtracting my points that they got... Reds and Pirates got me 10 first round; Koufax, Snell, and Scherzer got me 8 in round two; Brewers, Angels, and Guardians for 7 in the third round; Yount, and Ohtani got me 4 in the fourth round
I think with the new format they should only get the points for the amount an answer has over. So if it was 20 home runs and you said someone who had 30 you’d get 10 points instead of 30.
Have time to kill. Let's do this. Took 15 points on the World Series question. Marlins, Braves, Dodgers, Cubs, and totally spaced and forgot the Brewers never won. Only 3 on the Cy Youngs. Had Scherzer, Kershaw, Lincecum, Halladay, and Clemens. Oh well. I took 10 points on the All Star question, and knocked out three of Dalton's. Astros, Cubs, Padres, Blue Jays, and Mets. Turns out I know NOTHING about MVPs. Four of my picks didn't qualify. Randy Johnson, Pudge, Clemens, and Griffey. Scored two points with Frank Thomas though. That's 30 points. Not even close. Mainly because I knew the WS question would be a bloodbath and stayed away from the obvious ones. 🤣
These videos rule. FWIW I tied the game w/ Ryan that I played against these 3 nerds -- here were my picks -- obviously I canceled each of our points if one of the guys and I had the same selection: 1) Yankees; Cubs; Red Sox; As; Cardinals 2) Maddux; Glavine; Clemens; Johnson; Pedro 3) Cubs; Mets; Braves; Yankees; Mariners; 4) Bonds; Thomas; Rodriguez; Pujols; Trout
Love this new format! Also Joez acting depressed throughout the entire video despite finishing second is hilarious
Eh not a fan of the attitude.
This comment spoiled the video for me
if you're not first, you're last
“I would like point” shirt from Joez would go crazy!
Dalton was joking about it, but getting a 0 with 100% correct answers should be an auto-win lol
that is brilliant. that is similar to the Hearts or Spades card game. lets do it
Jomboy media is the only thing helping me keep my sanity through finals week.
Lol
You’re gonna crush those finals this week, my friend. Good luck!!
Good luck!

Love the scoring change
Jolly: dalton and joeyz are eating each other
me: pause
Dude dalton be making so many Billy Joel references Vienna in the latest hits draft and you may be right today
Ryan picking Johan has sealed him within my heart forever
at the 7:30 mark Joez just minding his business while the boys talk about randomness. lol
Dalton's face on Jolly's math at the end lol
it's so tough, i love jolly in videos both as a player and a host. but i genuinely think the videos come out SO MUCH CLEANER when he's a host. also just nice to not have the same player in every video
Really appreciate the chapters being set up!

Ryan Cohen is toxic competition, Joez McFly is the sorest loser, and Dalton Feely is infectious positivity.
Nah Dalton just nepo autism
I agree about Joez but don't get the toxic competition reference.
@Cabaret43 Yeah, that's true. It's not so much "toxic" as it is "constant." But in every video I've seen with him in it, he's competing like Brady in a Super Bowl.
I look forward to every time dalton sings in these videos as it just proves man’s got hella good music taste
11:23 Love the Leon Bridges shout from Ryan lol

@@BlameNixonback then they had a rule where you could only win one mvp in your career
This new format is awesome - definitely the superior way to play scattergories!
Interesting new format. Adds a different layer. Can’t say I like it better or worse than the normal round, but definitely something different to keep in the rotation. Great stuff JM.
“We have Jurickson Profar and Luis Arraez” aged like fine wine
I really like this format, there's a lot of mind games involved
I like this format, makes the deep cut guess matter more .
I like the format, adds a fun element to it.
Really dig the scoring format… and I’ve learned the best way to win this is to know pre-1990 history. 😂
I love how jolly is holding that hits draft W over Ryan’s head
Scoring change is great! I play along, and I finally won with 31 points. I got the Pirates and Tigers for 9 points in the first round, then got 12 points in round 2 all with pitchers from the 60s and 70s.
6:58 for Dalton’s most recent Billy Joel song
Played along and got 22 points! Albert Pujols, Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle clutched it in the end
Props for the "Um, Actually" reference!
Was that a reference to Guts when Joez did that?
You know the video will be good when Joez is sitting in the middle
Really like this new format
Dalton putting the FREAK TIMMY🧡🖤 big love/respect
Love the new version keep it going
This format is way better
Great new aspect to the game!
New format is awesome and should get its own series
Love it, Jolly.
Ryan not putting down Blake Snell has brought shame to the Rays-Padres alliance
Tremendous format
Ryan was a good add to the team
Love the new format idea especially because it makes Joez look like a child
Great format
much better this way
Best possible format
I somehow finished with 42 points that includes subtracted points. Only minuses that i needed to keep in mind was a -4 on joez for naming baltimore in the all stars round and a -2 on ryan for naming the phillies
amazing format

Like the new format

Joez was golden in this 😂
We need to see if Ryan can take down Lucas in trivia...I think he might be ready

Scoring is definitely better this way.
New rule proposal: reverse running the table and scoring zero while submitting 5 valid answers each round should be an auto win
I’m disappointed no one went with the greatest pitcher in Cleveland history, Corey Kluber for the multiple Cy Youngs category.
Yall kinda made fun of the idea of playing along at home, but I did and I beat Ryan today.
I'm shocked Pujols was not picked for MVPs. 3x and was robbed 2-3 other times
Crazy the MVP didn’t have Berra DiMaggio or Mantle
I finally had a good round!
For multiple mvp i had
joe dimaggio (3)
Frank Thomas (2)
Mike Schmidt (3)
Hank Greenberg (2)
Cal ripken Jr (2)
Good for 12
The Knicks did NOT in fact win the championship when this came out 😭😭😭
You should make a rule for next game where if the person guesses a wrong answer they lose the points from their previous correct guess
Played against the boys, only counted my points if one person and one person alone had it or nobody had it,
First round:
Cards
A's
Giants
Phillies
Red Sox

3 for Koufax, 2 for Gaylord Perry and 3 for Pedro

Fourth Round:

Finished with 29 points so I'll take a nice W

Scoring change is good!
I'm surprised no one guessed Jim Palmer for multiple cy young winners
Me as a nats fan sitting here disappointed that no one answered Max Scherzer for having 3 cy upung

Stan Musial: 3
-Lefty Grove: 1-
Ted Williams: 2
-Lou Gehrig: 1-
Hal Newhouser: 2

I need Dalts Shirt
Is it weird that I immediately thought Lincecum for Cy Youngs? The format had a little too do with it too.
Angels were a sneaky All Star pick with 3.
My pitcher round would have been Tom Seaver (3), Pedro Martinez (3), Sandy Koufax (3), Jim Palmer (3), and Bob Gibson (2).
I feel like I was lucky that I scored a 29 and that was subtracting my points that they got... Reds and Pirates got me 10 first round; Koufax, Snell, and Scherzer got me 8 in round two; Brewers, Angels, and Guardians for 7 in the third round; Yount, and Ohtani got me 4 in the fourth round
my answers for MVP:
Dimaggio
Mays
Schmidt
F Robinson (Xd by Ryan)
Mantle
My Cy picks were
Steve Carlton: 4
Jim Palmer: 3
-Don Drysdale: 1-
Max Scherzer: 3
Chris Carpenter: 2
Should have gone with Mantle (3) & Mays (2) & Yogi Berra (3) for MVP's.
Yes top 20
W pacers
I think with the new format they should only get the points for the amount an answer has over. So if it was 20 home runs and you said someone who had 30 you’d get 10 points instead of 30.
good vid guys
Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle are rolling in their graves.
Yogi had 3 MVPs.
Albert Pujols !!!! 3x MVP . At least 2 more if it wasn’t for Bonds and those pesky steroids
Not the Milwaukee Brewers 😢
Have time to kill. Let's do this.

Joez cries so much
Nobody saying Albert Pujols for multiple MVPs is crazy
scattergories!
I enjoyed this format. But wouldnt care if u went back to the old scoring system. Just want more of these trivia vids (especially with ryan)
