This video was recorded on 6/1, so some of the stats will be off. In hindsight, I could see the argument for: - Picking Mitch Garver for the Mariners instead because he was one of their big offseason pickups - Going with DL Hall for the Brewers since he was a big piece in the Burnes trade - Mentioning Jorge Soler since he’s also off to a terrible start. - Going with Austin Hays for the Orioles over Mullins because his numbers have dropped off tremendously.
He should have put James outman as a dodgers fan I didn’t think that high of lux, but I thought Outman was going to pop off and be a top 10 center fielder. I guess that I thought wrong
Carroll is so disappointing. I’ve got a lot invested in him in cards and fantasy. Everytime I feel like he’s getting going he goes like 0-12 the next two days
I would say the most disappointing for the snacks would actually be Eugenio Suarez. Carroll is starting to come out if that major slump. Yeah he’s not hitting as much home-runs, but he’s getting a lot more basehits. The dbacks signed Suarez to a pretty big contract and he only strikes out it seems like
I could tell you as a die hard Mets fan, We weren’t expecting much out of Baty we were optimistic but definitely expecting the possibility of him being sent down. The biggest bust on the Mets is McNeil.
As a Jays fan, I would put Bo Bichette in for the most disappointing. We were all expecting him to continue being dominant, but he's struggled so hard, and his defence isn't great. At least Springer does make some highlight reel catches in the outfield and his bat has been turning around as of late.
You could’ve picked anyone from the Braves lineup aside from Ozuna Albies and Murphy, you wouldn’t be wrong. I wonder why so many stars are having bad seasons so far. Any theories Robbie?
For the Reds personally I would’ve mentioned Alexis Diaz, Era over 5.50 and whenever he comes into the game feels like he is always allowing baserunners. As our closer it’s very infuriating. His brother could also be one for the Mets.
Baty was pretty bad last year so I wasn't expecting a massive improvement but he's still been disappointing. Lindor has been terrible too but the real candidate to me for the Mets is Jeff McNeil. He's hitting .227 and an OPS+ of 82 after winning the batting title two years ago and while he wasn't amazing last year, this season is just proving that he's completely washed.
Poor ole Mike Trout. If you're a fan of baseball period, Trout HAS to be the most disappointing. I think his position player days are done! I'm surprised there isn't an ambulance in the background of his baseball cards. Please DH him only.
Kirilloff’s decline has been brutal. Especially after the first month of this season he was fantastic. I will say that I’ve always preferred Larnach over him but it would be nice if we could have both of those bats hot at the same time
Maybe some thought bauers was going to be huge, but tbh we have so many younger guys producing well so it’s not that big of a deal that bauers isn’t doing much
Honestly, It feels like one could argue between Olson and Riley at this point, as both are equally disappointing so far this season. However, Olson has started to get some hits, as he's hitting .304 with an OPS of .926 Since May 11th, when his Average was at a Career LOW .195. As for Riley, if you look back at the Majority of his ABs in the Month of June, I'd argue he's had the Most Unlucky of months, as a lot of his Contact HAS been Hard-Hit Shots that find gloves instead of turf. If he try to hit the opposite way instead of Pull Everything... I think we can get Austin 3:16 Back to Kicking A--!
Rendon is absolutely spot on. Is Angel fans in Southern California are disgusted with him amongst other team failures And Riley? Every time I take him in fantasy he disappears. I feel like he’s gone run or bust
As a Seattle fan, I expected far more from Polanco and Garver than I did from Haniger. I'd submit that they are more disappointing to most Mariner fans.
Very good fielding last season, but I wouldn’t say “all world”. FRV of 4 last season, to 1 so far. Wasn’t meant to be a knock on his defense, just saying his numbers overall are down from last year.
I agree with everything you said with one exception, I don't think the Baltimore fans had the highest expectations for Cedric Mullins after seeing what he did the second of last season. They were over the moon excited when the #1 overall prospect Jackson Holliday was promoted and quite frankly looked overmatched from the get-go. The dude hit an embarrassing .059. But again, hard to dispute anyone else you mentioned.
as a giants fan, it's obviously snell lol. but I kinda feel like Doval has taken a step back from last year. And then for the a's, I'm just surprised they aren't the worst team in the mlb this year. did anybody have expectations for them?
I went into the video knowing it was gonna be Castellanos…but he has till late September to get right as far as I’m concerned. As long as that bat is dangerous in the playoffs, we’ll be just fine!!
As a Padres fan, you could argue Machado or KIM, have been more disappointing. Coming off of a Gold Glove year, you’d expect that defense to roll into this year but no. Last year he had 4 errors on the season, this year? He’s at least over 6. I think what’s the most disappointing is the fact that we moved our $280 million SS to second base and our second baseman to SS to be better than Xander. It is NOT working out
That’s a good one too. I thought about him, but figured I’d give him a break because he’s only had a few starts and had a knee issue. I definitely see the argument though.
Bauers is a good pick I think. If the offense wasn't good there's no way he would be around with Tyler Black in AAA. Abner Uribe would be next for me. Was given the closer's role but pitched his way into AAA instead while also getting himself suspended for being an idiot.
Um I'm a Mets fan, you can pick anyone, hitter or pitcher, Hitters are .230 or below, pitchers high ERA, bullpen blow leads in 9th, maybe Trumpet Boy Edwin Diaz is stinking the joint up. GO STEVE COHEN!!!
As a twins fan I'd say Julien is considerably more disappointing than Kirilloff. Most twins fans had higher hopes for Julien than they did for Kirilloff going into this year and Julien has been worse than Kiriloff, looking way out of sorts. His 94 OPS+ is weak but that doesn't factor in his strong start somewhat keeping that number afloat. Since april 28 he has a .454 OPS and he just got sent down to AAA. Sure, I'd love for Kirilloff to be hitting the ball better, but he's still close to league average with his bat this season and his expectations were tampered down coming into this season based on wrist surgeries and other issues
Disappointing based upon what? Who’s expectations and why? So teams expect a player that has a career year, in this case Austin Riley, to be the next coming. If all the players in the league how many are very consistent? Most are “average”. How many that get drafted ever seen the field in a major field game during the regular season? Integrity NFL 97% of those drafted never see the field in a regular season game. Just watch the game and whatever happens, happens.
Mullins definitely has been the most disappointing player on O's this season and his buddy Austin Hays had even worse numbers before he went on IL. But looks like Hays is coming out of his slump and hopefully Ced will as well. He just needs to get on base, doesn't need to hit 30 homers like he did a couple years ago to help his team.
L take on vaugh Grissom, Ididnt expect him to produce this year considering his health and age, brayan Bello was the easy pick, opening day guy who can't go more than 5. I love Bello but he hasn't done what he's needed to
Baty has been at least awesome defensively and coming off a dud season last year, lindor great of late but I don’t know how you don’t have Edwin Diaz as the Mets most disappointing player
This video was recorded on 6/1, so some of the stats will be off. In hindsight, I could see the argument for:

Will Benson was a better pick for the Reds
Walker...
Mitch garver has killed my mariners this year not Mitch haniger!
@@DerrickFreeman-ut4vk Seattle is 39-30 with a 6.5 game lead in the AL West. They aren’t exactly dead.
Hays has made some progress late May into Early June. So I'd stick with Ced.
In regards to Lux, I heard this comparison a while back that I’d agree with: Gavin Lux is the Dodgers’ Jarred Kelenic
He should have put James outman as a dodgers fan I didn’t think that high of lux, but I thought Outman was going to pop off and be a top 10 center fielder. I guess that I thought wrong
Chris Taylor anybody? Worse stats than Lux and Outman plus a $15M salary
Taylor before Lux. He's hitting .115 but has been hitting better lately.
With the Mets, it's the entire team.
Correct 😂

I would say the most disappointing for the snacks would actually be Eugenio Suarez. Carroll is starting to come out if that major slump. Yeah he’s not hitting as much home-runs, but he’s getting a lot more basehits. The dbacks signed Suarez to a pretty big contract and he only strikes out it seems like

More than Bichette’s bat?

I’d either go with Outman or Taylor this year, cause Lux has been decent lately while Taylor has like a 40% K rate and Outman got demoted
Definitely Taylor because of the $15M salary.
Love these type of videos. Thanks for content man . Love putting this on while I drive and hearing these atrocious numbers lol. Jose abreu...damn
Hahaha nothing like a relaxing drive while hearing about terrible stats.
Thank you my friend 🙏
No Bregman as honorable mention for the Astros, Hunter Brown wasn't meant to be a star this year, Bregman was and he has been below average
Bergman has an 893 SLG with 4 HR in his last 7 ganes
@@rhyde that's a great point

Bauers being the brewers, is awesome. Makes us sound good when our disappointment is Jake Bauers
and here's something that's still funny. that the rockies let story walk in 2021 to give kris bryant that huge contract LMFAO
For the Cardinals, it’s between Goldy and Arenado. Both top players offensively have slumped heavily this year
i would say walker at their age it’s expected for goldy and arenado to regress but walker should be getting better by the day
Baty was pretty bad last year so I wasn't expecting a massive improvement but he's still been disappointing. Lindor has been terrible too but the real candidate to me for the Mets is Jeff McNeil. with the dodgers one, im pretty surprised you didnt give it to chris taylor
Lux isn't making anyone forget about Davey Lopes but he's batting about 100 points higher than Taylor.
For the Mets its Lindor. Baty doesnt have a $340 million contract.
Lindor’s field value is currently $14.6M, on pace to beat his salary.
Anthony’s Rendon hasn’t been disappointed we expected this from him
I’d make a better case for Rowdy Tellez for Pittsburgh. When you get booed going to home plate, then I think it speaks for itself
It is now 2 weeks later and the astros have released Abreu and Brown is doing better than before.
Disagree with Lux, coming off major injury and trending in the right direction. Out man was the easy choice but he got optioned so it is Chris Taylor
Outman being paid league minimum and show signs of life in AAA, Taylor is making $15M and is striking out a horrible 46% of the time!
The Blue Jays are mad they didn't take Springers trash can demands seriously during contract negotiations 😂😂😂
Tork just got sent to AAA, which as a tigers fan, oh my was it needed

Rendon can’t possibly be disappointing. This is just who he is at this point

Honestly, It feels like one could argue between Olson and Riley at this point, as both are equally disappointing so far this season.
