Today’s video we are toning my hair with Wella T18.
My favourite toner to get rid of brassy yellow hair. Usually in the summer time I love going ash blonde. And in the winter time go a bit darker of a blonde. 🫠💛
I have tried a bunch of Wella Toners on my channel. Wella T18 is always my go to after I have bleached my hair. 💛
It’s always important to put protein back in your hair, and do hair treatments to prevent damage when we bleach hair. ApHogee is the only hair brand I use on my hair to keep it healthy.

You could actually use 10 vol and minimize even more damage. But I know it tells you to use 20 vol. Not being a Karen or anything. You do you, I just wanted to add my two cents. I just had my hair chopped off. I said I wanted a trim, a blunt Bob. It was to my shoulders. She cut it into a bowl cut just below my ears. Not happy at all! This is why I hate getting a haircut. But your hair looks so great!
adding water with developer dilutes the developer, so using a 10 vol wouldnt get you the best results, thats why they recomend using 20 bc 20 diluted is 10 vol which 10 volume only barley lifts your hair to add a color it is not recomended for high lift bleaching

Your hair looks beautiful! I can't wait until my hair grows back! It used to look just like yours. My color is still good and it's getting longer, but it takes forever!! I'm the one who accidentally melted my hair off by switching products! I went back to my original blonding products and it's healthy now, but I had to cut off all the damaged parts. last year i was platinum blonde and everyone warned me against using t18, yet now i've finally used it on my highlights and its the perfect white! shoulda used it last year, it really is great no matter who tries to slander it. it really just became a trend to claim it "doesn't work" very well.

Oh my gosh it came out a perfect blonde! I absolutely love your channel and your vibes! You are a queen! So I never tried toning my hair, and I want to give t18 a go because I want that platinum color! My question is that does the toner fade away over a few washes, or does it last for a while? And after bleach, can I use shampoo & conditioner pre toning , or just work on plain damp hair? God bless!!

You're hair is gorgeous, I love you're hair so I'm going to try those apolgee products, they seem work so well. I've just started going to a hair dresser to high light my hair as the grey is coming in so bad. I'm not brave enough to do what you do. I've started 8 weeks ago, but the top turned out lovely (strawberry blonde) but the short lengths to my shoulders are more a ginger!!? I'm going back next week to continue the process as I think she knows what she's doing & comes via great recommendation.
I will definitely use those products starting with the 2nd treatment. You have opened my eyes to how to look after my hair so I reckon after next week's visit I might make my following appointment 10 weeks.

Please try K18 on your hair ! I'd love to see if it would help your hair like other reviews say. I have damaged hair as well and I've been wanting to try it but idk if it's worth it because it is expensive 😭

I think its supposed to use on wet hair because its softer to the hair. The water is deluding the developer a bit so it doesn't melt your hair of. 😊

Hate when that happens lol 😝 if I ever overtone really bad. Or to much purple shampoo. I always do a bleach bath with 10 developer on my hair! Works great !

You can over tone?
I bleached my hair and a lot fell out / broke off and it’s super blonde in some spots but the top is red and orange idk if I should try this

Really nice platinum hair. Just one thing, Wella T18 is not really a toner but permanent colour. I have no clue as to why Wella decided to name it like that, maybe to get more customers... Toners are not supposed to be mixed with 20vol peroxide. The highest peroxide that should be used with a real toner is 10, lower peroxides (5vol, 3.5vol) are preferable,though. In my experience, i have realized that you only get good results with toners when the canvas is incredibly perfect (when all you hair has been bleached and there is no trace of yellow whatsoever. That is, when hair looks just like butter) That is the reason why, even after bleaching, I use permanent colour to achieve the result I´m looking for ( white silver platinum) Some of my favourite tones are: Igora royal 10.21, Fanola No Yellow T.21 and also T.11

Silly question: How do I know if I left the toner in too long?!
T18 can turn your hair purple. The toner will literally stop working after about 40 minutes. You leave toner in 5 to 40 minutes depending on the color tone you want. Technically, no such thing as too long but it's also possible the hair sucks up the color & you end up with an ugly tone.

If you keep it about this length shown in the video and use good products lie Aphogee and Olaplex you can keep your bleached hair in pretty good condition.

You can't go wrong with Olaplex and Redken. They're great brands. Keep your hair as healthy as you can and keep it virgin hair if you can resist bleaching it.
I've been loving what Abbey Yung has been doing with her hair lately, she is less bleached blonde these days so she is clearly trying to restore her hairs integrity.
