Great job as always 55 Chevy is my dream car,I'm 67 years old so it looks like I'm never gonna have one but I get to watch you work on yours thanks for the videos.
Coming along nicely. It's going to look so good when it's done. I prefer the '55 to the '56 and '57, even though I was born in '57 (AKA OLD) I hope you keep it a four-door, you have those mint door panels, and four doors makes it nice for loading dogs, or whatever. All the best to you both.
Dan, I worked for GM in the early 1960's. We filled the body panel gaps with something we called "Dum-Dum caulk". Gm used the product sparingly, whereas Chrysler products had such big gaps , they had it in pressure hoses on the line. About 40 pounds per car body. Ask a Mopar restorer about it! Its still available at Home Depot and electrical supply stores for the same purpose, sealing gaps in duct work and electrical pipes and sealing wire connections. It has a very interesting smell when it gets heated up. Love how fast you jump on your projects! No problem with ADD in my mind.
That ticket is an ouch. Dani gonna have to put in some overtime. As long as you don't tell me you are putting a 6 banger in it I am OK lol...Carry on kids!!
You have to pay a car rental place because you got a ticket? That's effed up. It's not that way in AZ, U.S. I don't know if Canada is different, but here speeding under 20 mph over the limit is a civil violation. And you can go to traffic school to get it off your record (because having points on your license doubles your insurance for three years, and that is on all your vehicles) if you have not already done so during the past 24 months. Please don't put a computer engine in that car. That is a REAL car, it deserves a REAL engine. Hot rods don't have computers. Hot rodding is strictly a pre computer pre emissions thing.
I've been with you since you converted Daniela' s 57 its fun to watch you two in your new digs and yet you are still not use to the space you have now, your mind set is still in your old garage. Once you get out of I still have a small and tight garage, the cluster you are use to might disappear. But cause you worked in a small tight garage for year's you might stay in the small tight mind set. Any how have fun and enjoy your new space!!!!!!
Moose Jaw has a stupid spot where the speed limit on the highway drops to 80km and that's where the photo radar is. Maybe Daniel didn't notice the speed limit change and drove through at 110km.
Dan , that is one sweet 55 , I love your 2dr conversations, but that car is almost to nice to chop up , in the end it is yours to do whatever , 4dr sleeper would be different
There’s no noise from the furnace coming through on the mic. Sorry about the ticket. You can probably contest it but not sure on Canadian law. You can check tho. Great video today.
Tech tip on the batteries. Wait until they've cooled off completely to charge them because they get warm from running dead and that puts most of the wear on their lifespan
That’s where I got my speeding ticket on the 1991 motorcycle trip. I was headed east and when I rolled through town being a Yank I wasn’t good converting from MPH to KPH. I slowed to what I thought was the speed but as soon as I got to the edge of town the cop hit the lights/sirens. I think the ticket was $75.00 (33 years ago).
Holy hell that’s an expensive ticket and I’m dumb and I’ve been pulled over way more than I’d like to admit and I think the worst speeding ticket I’ve ever got was around $250 US for like 30-40 over and I thought that was astronomical. Good news is I’ve gotten better as I’ve gotten older (knock on wood) but those cameras can get ya, I dread the day they become more common in my neck of the woods.
Last time I did anything like that, it was 1978, and it cost me $350. It was a lot of money back then. I blame it on the '65 GTO. And its new clutch. And that stoplight...
yeah, I noticed that mailbox looking device .... My motorcycle plate is kinda hard to see due to the tour pack on the Harley. I know I was lucky , but I crapped my drawers when I hit the bump in the road while they replaced the asphalt.
Yeah, spray foam in rust holes, a reason I bought a mig welder thirty years ago cause as a mechanic I had an aversion to the chilton manuals showing bogus repairs of rust holes in panels, including fiberglass and such. Like, I always thought a home do it yourselfer should have a good selection of tools, an air compressor and the usual air tools, and a welder for rust repairs and small projects,.....everyone should have them,...not fiberglass or expand foam repairs,...none of that earl scheib shit of stuffing old newspaper in the hole then bondo, etc.
Dani is a menace to society and sets a bad example for us safe drivers. She should be charged with wreckless driving and given 80 hours of community service. 😮😮😮
This is my first ticket in all of my years of driving. In an area I didn't know, where the limit when from 110 to 80 for literally 1 mile and then back to 110. How about, you just relax a bit there Karen. I paid the fine, didn't fight it. Learned a lesson. Chill out lady.
I got a ticket like that in a rental car one time just get a hold of the area that gave you the ticket and pay it directly and then the rental car company can’t get their fee because the ticket disappears
that 1 mile strip past Moose Jaw gets alot of people. there is photo radar there. luckily, I haven't had that issue, so far, LOL, there probably will be demerits as the rental company will pass along Dani's licence info,
May have to hold out on getting new gloves and a belt sander. 700 bucks for a ticket?! Should have moved to the states. Tickets are way cheaper here plus mailing parts way cheaper compared to Canada. Too late to get your deposit back?
Nice splice on the trunk. Two Door it. Make it a nice hotrod. Carpet, headliner, door cards and decent paint job-something with a sheen maybe...The gear driver overdrive coupled to a Muncie with a blown big block.
Dani must have been on orbital reentry to get a ticket like that. Thanks for the another cool vidya 🐾🎃
Great job as always 55 Chevy is my dream car,I'm 67 years old so it looks like I'm never gonna have one but I get to watch you work on yours thanks for the videos.
You can reach your goal just depends on how much you truly want to make it happen 🙏💯💡🤷
I know what u mean. I'm 69 and was always a Mopar muscle guy but Dans got me wanting a tri five. Never give up hope.
@@TheBuick40 mine is the 57 and I know what you about never getting one
You're not talking to yourself, you're talking to 169,000 subscribers. No pressure
You need high bay lights ..I bought some on Amazon pretty cheap ...the 55 is coming together
I am retired. I don't know why, but I really enjoy watching you two work so much! Really great video Dan and Dani. Dani, slow down you move too fast!
... Skipping along and feeling groovy !
Didn’t even know a furnace was running.. Stay warm!
DD Speed Shoppin’ at its best with grinding, cutting, hammering and welding. Too bad about Dani’s ticket. Cheers!! 😊
Everyone just become a member and help em out!! It literally starts at 5 bucks a month. Great video Dan!
Everyone make a couple comments to help DD pay Dani’s ticket . They are good people.
I don't remember Dan ever telling us what his $800 ticket was for! 😂😅
Dani spilled the beans....sounds like she's gettin' even...lol
Dan was on his phone while driving
she was over on roads weight limit.
Always look forward to "Dan here...."
Dan makes metal work look so easy. enjoy your videos..
Good work you remind me of myself back in the 80s keep the good builds going tri 5s are my favorite
This 55 is too nice to drive in the winter,I think I'd make the 57 two door conversion my winter car.
Great work putting the pieces together Dan. Shame about your ticket Dannie, could have been in a construction zone...
Take care of One Another 😊
That's that fucking 80 km/h stretch by the Flying J. Money grab!
55 getting repairs looking real good 👍
Coming along nicely. It's going to look so good when it's done. I prefer the '55 to the '56 and '57, even though I was born in '57 (AKA OLD) I hope you keep it a four-door, you have those mint door panels, and four doors makes it nice for loading dogs, or whatever. All the best to you both.
Dani has to be the most supportive girlfriend ever your a lucky man Dan Mike
That is a nice looking repair, Dan.
Nice work
That four door is really a sweet car . Even as the four door.

If I remember right,...is that smell the odor of vomit/puke?....or am I thinking of some other maker of vehicles?
That ticket is an ouch. Dani gonna have to put in some overtime. As long as you don't tell me you are putting a 6 banger in it I am OK lol...Carry on kids!!

good job
37:35 I'll get back to it later. Hahahaha! Good one Dan!
You say it’s easy to build cars according to Johnny Cash Cadillacs are more difficult. Enjoy the videos thanks for taking us along. Tom
That's hilarious, Daniel, nobody ever thinks they were going to fast , we've all done it .
You need to make a t-shirt saying I support Danielle's speeding habits lol
What no hockey puck for body mounts not a true Canadian rebuild without them keep up the great work
Dan is an excellent fabricator and welder
Enterprise likely got a $$100 ticket and with customer appreciation fees etc.,$700.
Dan ya might have to take her 57 apart and sale parts to pay her fine 😂😂😂
700 bucks Danielle! You were cruising!! In the states that might have also been a suspended license depending on which state you were in.
Can't hear the furnace at all so it good keep warm
Wow Canuckstan is ridiculous on those tickets! Nice work Dan
Starting to look good! 👍
Hot rod Don , is thinking about selling his 55 nomad wagon, black one ,,, thanks BigAl California
Danni will be working 24x7 !
Looks awesome 👍
That sounds more like Gull Lake chasing you down.. Moose Jaw, my former home town.. 😜 $700 is a chunk! Ouch..
Great job on repairing that trunk Dan and I hope you don't paint this car cause I really love the to tone ❤
It's coming along good. 😊
I like to watch how Dan can just eyeball something and 'it's just fine', which it is. Photo radar is the pits, a cash grab. 🇨🇦
I really do love this car. I hope she stays a crew cab
Missouri checking in!
Nice door panels and all…might as well keep it a moredoor, IMHO! Might come in handy if kids arrive.
I like how she tells about her ticket on camera 🤪
Moose Jaw has a stupid spot where the speed limit on the highway drops to 80km and that's where the photo radar is. Maybe Daniel didn't notice the speed limit change and drove through at 110km.
So frustrating!!
Happy Halloween everyone!
Dr. Dan, surgeon here. Tri-Fives are his specialty. Not afraid to cut.
And Danni, oooooooh. Caught by a darn camera. Doesn't that just figure?
For undercoat try the Duplicolor Rock Chip Guard. Waaaaay better than the rubber/tar like Under Coates. Also makes a great spray on truck bed liner.
Dan , that is one sweet 55 , I love your 2dr conversations, but that car is almost to nice to chop up , in the end it is yours to do whatever , 4dr sleeper would be different
Get er done, Dan
Hello Dan n Dani
I enjoy your work very much..P
There’s no noise from the furnace coming through on the mic. Sorry about the ticket. You can probably contest it but not sure on Canadian law. You can check tho. Great video today.
Coming along nicely Dan and Dani $ 700 for a ticket You could have bought a Motor
hey if you had a tee shirt that said"i bought this shirt to help danny pay her speeding ticket" i will buy one/3xl
Need a video every day if possible 🎉🎉
As long as the SPEEDOMETER CABLE is not involved .DANI !
Here we go again. It’s time for another great video 👍👍
Tech tip on the batteries. Wait until they've cooled off completely to charge them because they get warm from running dead and that puts most of the wear on their lifespan
I would quit reading emails.....
Nice
Three tri fives in the new garage, two in the drive way, plus all your other hot rods in absentee, best show around.
Dang, Mortski and y'all in jail at the same time 😅😂😊
Mortski is in jail? Just saw him at Puddins. He did mention trouble with the law....
Might be a scam. Call enterprise to see if they if fact sent it.

✊✊✊✊👍this is going to be more great content well done guys
I didn't know $700 photo radar tickets were possible. Impressive.
The furnace doesn't effect the video at all. Sound is good.
Yup, Moose Jaw has camera's on the TransCanada. 80kmh limit on the north end of the city. Lot's of people get caught there. Sorry Daniel!
yeah, I noticed that mailbox looking device ....
My motorcycle plate is kinda hard to see due to the tour pack on the Harley.
I know I was lucky , but I crapped my drawers when I hit the bump in the road while they replaced the asphalt.
Holy. Was it in a construction zone?
You must have had the Enterprise car in warp speed.
110 down to 80 - so if you missed it and were doing about 120 - that is a 700ish ticket. (But like Dan said - no demerits).
I ❤ How You Welding Over A Plastic Garbage Can
Dan is a master is Zip cut ninja sensing
700 dollars for a speeding ticket?? Wow 😮
Should be called dd speeding shop😊😊

Whenever you get an email you are NOT sure of, Forward it (Don't send it anywhere) & see where it came from............. 😀👍
You did a great job getting that new metal in place it looks really good, that thing will be running and driving before you know it. ❤️👍🤍👍💙👍
700 bucks? Some provinces take all the fun out of breaking the law!
Heater it's 80 degrees here in Maryland happy Halloween 🎃
We get points as well in u.k. 12 points no licence 😢😢
Its Dan's fault for the ticket he should of stop with you and waited so blame him
Terrible grammar.
You got clipped by the photo radar on west side of town. Its 80km zone and at 105-110 its $700
Did you have to give Mur all his tools back?
Dani is a menace to society and sets a bad example for us safe drivers. She should be charged with wreckless driving and given 80 hours of community service. 😮😮😮

I got busted doing 135 in a 70 and my ticket was under 500 what in the hell were you doing Danny?
Admitting guilt on the air won't help you in court. You are fighting the tyrants ain't you?
.
I’m surprised he hasn’t moved to the states.
LOL! Most would never pick up on that reference.
Dan, you could be sleeping with a MAJOR FELON!!!!!
I got a ticket like that in a rental car one time just get a hold of the area that gave you the ticket and pay it directly and then the rental car company can’t get their fee because the ticket disappears

No 2 door this time! That's the best looking 4 door 55 I've seen on this channel.
No it needs to stay a 4 door ,2 door is over rated .
Hey bro try trimming driver side edge off a boot 1/8 inch
