DeLaval Optimat Standard - The automatic feeding system | Joustra, The Netherlands

In the Frisian village of Buitenpost in the Netherlands, we find the Joustra family's dairy farm. Besides the DeLaval VMS milking robots, DeLaval milking robot and necessary DeLaval cow comfort, we find here the Optimat Standard system. This total solution provides everything for weighing, mixing, cutting, homogeneous distribution and feeding of the mixed roughage.
For distribution, Joustra chose the OptiWagon, a self-propelled distribution feeding robot. The OptiWagon self-propelled distribution feed robot can take different recipes to multiple groups up to 12 times a day per group. The recipes and routing schedule can be set up in the DeLaval DelPro Farm Management system. "Optimat helps to optimise ration efficiency.
