    How does the cow get back of this rotary system after milking ? I don't think that it get back just after opening the (door). There must be some electric pulse or signal or something like this that push the cow to get of the machine.

    • @MCMilkingIt
      @MCMilkingIt  Рік тому +1

      No most cows will back off by themselves. When they do it once they know then. We do have an empty drum hanging down infront incase the cows aren't paying attention

    great video, we are putting a 54 bale waikato in currently which will look very similar to this parlour. would be great to have a video looking at all your rails and locations of rails in the yard for some ideas. at the entrance to the deck do you find cows flow in nice on an angled front or not? we are being advised to have it square but that just doesn't seem logical. would be nice to scratch your head a bit and see what if there are areas you would change or anything else etc.

    It's probably a soft start motor that turns the parlour. A two stage plate cooler would suit you if you don't already have one. It cools with running water and ice Bank water.

    Some parlour. So the retaining bar is up all the time unless a cow needs a second rotation? I thought it would be down until just before exit

    • @MCMilkingIt
      @MCMilkingIt  2 роки тому +4

      Yes correct. A lot of other brands use gravity to drop the retention bar every time and the ram to lift it everytime. Whereas here a spring holds it up and a ram brings it down when it is needed. So it's not working as much so less wear and tear
