Bought this router and installed but makes my modem restart every 10 min, don't know what's the problem.. Had to plugin the old one
Weird. I would reach out to your ISP to see if its just a faulty modem. The router shouldn’t be the reasoning behind it.
Why on earth doI need a Linksys account to make the device work? Surely it should just act as a standalone device.
It allows you to remotely manage it, where ever you are. You dont need the account if you are setting it up with a pc and dont need remote access.
