Hhr. Michigan. Cut holes in floor to change steering rack and right side control arm. Got the left side soaking in penetrant. Once you bite the bullet and cut the floor, things go well, but it's a big extra step, and you better be sure where to cut. I used aluminum tape to fill the holes in the floor. Works well.
I just ran into this on my wifes 06 saturn ion. I had no idea what to do. I was going to take the sub frame off mine. You have just made my day by saving me a ton of work. THANK YOU for taking the time to make this video.😊
On a Hyundai 06 elantra I used a sawzall and cut the bolt under the nut so the bolt drops down. I used a small cold chisel to pry up the edge of the cage to help get the blade in there. There wasnt enough room on top to drive the bolt up as you did. Great video. Thanks
Just did the lower arms on a 2010 Chevy cobalt, had same issue on one side. I was able to get a wrench in the slot behind where the bolt goes in and got that nut off.
My 2007 Saturn ion 2.2 I can't get the bushing bolt back on because there literally just a small 4" x 4" metal wall infront of the bolt and I have tried everything nothing seems to work. Been without a car for almost a year and half because of this problem, if anyone can help somehow would gladly appreciate it

Glad this was able to help. I need to get to making more videos. I definitely have a TON of projects to work on.

Thanks for the comment. Never hurts seeing how others do things too.

I hope I never have to deal with one of these again
