OHHH wow... I finally bumped up the video quality and made the screen full sized... what a difference! Those things are like jewels when you open them up! That's got to be so fun, what a sweet job.

Hey guys, great video! Have you ever tried a night-time hunt with UV? Would be cool to find out if the fossils glow/are easier to find! 🐚🔦

Hey I do this on the West Coast of Canada and I've been suggesting it to these Yorkshire Coast fossil channels lately as well!
I definitely agree and think that they could find some wild stuff over there!

They should, the calcite glows in different colors, and there would probably be some surprises too

Instead of trying to crack them open and risking breaking the fossil like you did on the last one, you showed opening. Why don't you just chip away the excess rock the same way you do to clean them up? I understand it would take longer, but it would guarantee that you don't damage any fossils in there.

For ammonites they are more common and it tends to be far faster and more efficient to just crack them, you wouldn’t do it for a rare specimen though. And fossil preparation is an extremely lengthy time consuming process!

Pan your camera a bit slower while focusing down on the cobbles would make the video much clearer, such as the end shots with the waterfall, Clear & Beautiful..What a scenic location!

FYI It would be really helpful if you turn your head light off when turning the camera on yourself as all we see otherwise is light. Thanks

Night hunting is better. At night you don’t scare the fossils off like during the day. They can see you a mile away in the light

Ночная охота на древние ископаемые!! А если ещё взять ультрафиолетовую лампу? Может ей можно высветить то, что не видно под обычным светом.
