Thank you so much for addressing both sides of the "coin," as well as examples of the pros/cons from your own life. As a workaholic from an "Asian" upbringing who burned out in my 30s, I appreciate a balanced life much more now. Endurance and peace are indeed both needed in life 😀

Thank you. I often worked too hard and was not as kind to myself as I would be to someone else. It did affect my health. As an elderly woman I realize now that I could have 'stopped to smell the roses.'

Great video! I feel though, that the difficulty is to remain mindful within these routines. It's easy to get stuck on this "automatic pilot" mode haha.

Yes it's very easy to get caught into that automatic pilot mode😅. I talked more about how to embrace daily routines in the Ichigo Ichie video if you are interested: ua-cam.com/video/Wp7BAIffr2E/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AzumiUchitani

Hi Azumi thanks for your insight for balance life.
As a very emotional person, meny times i find myself get cought into a "lazy" mode and give up on driving myself into fullfilment. in the same time eknowledging my strugle i do want to involve more discipline in my daily life because when i feel productive, and havig a "structure"it helpes me overcome these "downs". In the lasted week i start every morning with cleaning my house. this routine is for me also some kind of ceremony that makes me feel focused, energetic and peacful. i want to involve more structures that are induring ceremonies that can help me develop discipline.
I would appriciate if you share some more routines that come from japanes way of life like the matcha ceremony so during the day it can help strengthen these qualities.
    Thank you

Thank you! Great to hear! Definitely, small little daily actions uplift us. If you find structures, routines help you, that’s great! You can incorporate it. Also please remember to be gentle to your self 😊

Thanks for these tips. I browse your videos because they are a gold mine to recharge my batteries. This routine can be interrupted or criticized by third parties, the family for example or a change of life. I'm here, I was destabilized in my routine it demolished my self-esteem. Did you experiment this kind of situation ? (sorry for my poor english, I'm using google traduction)

Yes there is much to learn from how the Japanese people endured and have risen to be even a greater nation after the two nuclear bombs were dropped on the two civilian cities Nagasaki and Hiroshima
