Froyle, THANK YOU so much for addressing copyright! I see people all over the place pirating in-copyright magazine images for their art, selling it at art fairs or on-line, and who seem to think nothing of it. Either they don't know or, worse, don't care. There's a lot of "urban myths" out there about how much of an image you can use or how little you need to change it before calling it your own; these are FALSE. Please keep warning people; hopefully they will do the right thing and not try to make their reputation --and MONEY-- off of other people's work! Thanks again!

Your three tips were great. I am using too much paint! Have difficulty getting my images to transfer and doing my copies in b&w instead of color. Thanks so much! Now I need to look for the papers you use. I’m using watercolor paper. May be too tectured.

Love your videos! A technique that works for me: when I flip the gelli plate and paper over, I peel the plate off of the paper and the paper doesn’t rip, regardless of the dryness of the paint. Give it a try and see how it works for you. Much love and appreciation for all that you do to inspire us.

I have been trying to do this for years and I have never gotten an image like that. When I pull the page off, there is literally nothing legible. You do a great job!

What could be experimented with is that lively black and orange image. Not very contrast BUT we may be willing to fussy cut that model out and add a light background on the plate over the top of her. ❤

Hi Froyle😃👋🏻These are absolutely beautiful!!! I love your channel! Your videos truly do brighten my day. I have a question. I’m new to gellie plates, brayers etc. I bought 2 high quality (or so I thought) brayers (large and small) and when I roll them they cut lines into my paint. It’s as if the handle or the brayer holder is scratching the paint. It’s happening with both of them. Would you happen to know why this might be? Thank you!😊🙏🏻 @froyleart
It's hard to say without looking at them? Are they aligned properly, sitting in the handle? Maybe try rolling them lighter, don't press down so hard, cheers

Oh, I just don't understand how you do it.
I've tried everything. I did the printing of magazine pages, I did the printing of pages printed with a laser printer. And black and white, I ran it 2 times, color printing from 4 different high-quality stores, I printed it in a photo salon. I changed the paints, professional, ordered Amsterdam. I changed the thickness of the paint, thin, thicker. Nothing works, there is nothing left on the gel print, or small splashes of paint. I really want to learn how to do it! Close to despair... what is the magic? What other secret do you know?I don't understand what other work to do on mistakes. Please give me some advice 🙏🏻Please help me 🥲🥲🥲🙏🏻

What kind of paper did you use for the success pulls?

Once you finish with the process, how do you secure your pieces. Do you leave them outside. Do you put them in an envelop.
Secure them? Not sure what you mean? I keep them in a file in my collage paper drawer! Cheers

Do you seal your pieces? Do yo keep your pieces separated from each other?
Sometimes I varnish them with a satin varnish, put a piece of baking paper between them! cheers
What kind of paper would you use to print on if you print out your own photos?
Regular paper but it has to be a good quality colour laser print 👍🏼 cheers

So is it legal to transfer images from magazines? Just wondering about copyright issues.
I could be wrong but I believe you can use the print in your art.
I think that you wouldn’t be able to make copies of the prints.
You probably don't want to sell it if it is a straight transfer, different if it is only part of an artwork. The copyright of the original belongs to the magazine, cheers
