- Join me in the studio as I show you the best method for creating image transfers on the gelli plate. We will use laser prints from the office shop and then venture into using magazine pages. It could be the print copy you are using, that is the most important part 👍🏼 good quality colour laser prints cheers!

Wow, you did things flawlessly, why I can’t the way you do? I tried laser prints on my several photos, newspaper clips, I changed the acrylic paints that I normally used into liquitex, I follow your advise “not too much paint” but still ca not do it right. I’ve see lots of youtube videos about tranferring images , they all do it very easy. I don’t know what am I doing wrong? Anyone can suggest?
What about your images? Are they strong in contrast? This does make a big difference! Yep not too much paint & I have found colour laser copies from my local office shop to work the best! 👍🏼 then it’s just patience & practice until you get a feel for how much paint to use. It took me quite a while when I started & I have made hundreds of image transfers so that is why it looks so easy. Mileage under the brush baby! Just don’t give up! All the best, cheers Froyle
