Watching this I can associate with some students. Like the student who did the Cabin log. Perspective study. Has kids, works full time non-art job and busy. Good to see other students in similar stages. Feels encouraging.

Just recently started drawing and there seems like so much to learn. I’d really like to start your class but I hear a lot of people say start with paper and then others with digital. Even outside of drawing itself there is a lot to learn about where to begin 😵💫
Either way I’ve been having fun just drawing. Very relaxing Imo:)

I've been using a website called quickposes for references - I found one of a girl playing guitar and took the opportunity to draw my OC playing Guitar Hero. My only gripe with it though is that it has a "clothed/costumed" option and a "nude/partially nude" option but I wish there was a "tight clothing" option - you know like leggings. I want to be able to see the forms of the body without having to use the nude option (where they may still sometimes have skirts) :/
I am New at art what should I do first
Learn to draw cubes in perspective and have fun copying stuff or doodling, if you feel more interested watch his videos
@@unlimitedquickworks7387but don't limit and exhaust yourself to just this or it'll burn you out. Learn to also enjoy art or to make it a hobby from time to time. :)
Start with drawing what you like
From my personal experience as a new artist, you should, feel lost for a while. Then you realize that you just need to do something. I picked drawing first. So, I work on my line work, basic shapes, shading, etc.
He has a video called “learn to draw from lvl 0 to 100” or something, it’s really good to help sort yourself out and make a plan. I’d recommend starting there

Hello Marc. I just downloaded your drawing course and I want to say it's the most BORING course I've ever seen. Not only your terms are divided in a really whacky way. But you take TOO MUCH TIME to explain any kind of subject. It really takes away any kind of motivation a student has if they want to draw. In your course it says it's aim to a full beginner student yet you use too much digital drawing and Photoshop. While most artist started with a pencil. At the end I think it really needs a few improvements if you really want to sell it as "The most complete art course on the internet". Just my two cents.
