I know this is an older video but these were my first boot I ever bought… I’ve had them for 3 years and wear them at least 2 to 3 times a week and I still love them! I can wear them for hours without my feet hurting.
S1ck3ms games I’ve had then for like 2 years now I believe, and they are durable. I went to France for two weeks, and these were the only shoes I brought. And for everyday from 8:00 am, to like 6:00 pm, I would walk with these boots. They were comfortable and durable the whole way.
I have these. Love them. Super comfortable and perfect for everyday wear. Because of some of the points you made about appearance and the lining I am considering adding a new pair of boots to my closet with a couple improvements over this model.
do the boots make hard noise when walking on, for example, wooden floors or something? like it sounds like it's wood against wood? I think you get what I mean
I have the black suede/rough out version. They were not as stiff as these ones seem to be. I think mine are pretty good in the comfort level as well. Good kickers for sure.
I know I’m comin’ in a little late on this one, but catching up on back videos, (I’m 60 years old and bought my first pair of cowboy boots three weeks ago and fell in love with the look). Anyhow ... these boots look better on the feet than they do out of the box. The toe box looks good, and your pant legs cover the crudeness of the uppers. Pretty good look with jeans.
Just bought a used pair at my local thrift store for $40 still in great shape just needed a good cleaning, happy with the way they feel, looks wise the toe does look beefier then my other boots and a little wider too overall good boots so far
Here’s my review after 2 years of wear. The outside is good quality. They are comfort or able for 3 months. After that the inside falls apart, I never liked the shaft of the boot I prefer a harder one. The broke in well. Soles wore fast and the insole is cardboard that cAme out when I got in water. All in all if you could get them for less than a hundred then I’d recommend but not for the original price. They lasted 2 years so I can’t complain but I did have issues.
I could say the opposite for my experience with em, I’ve had them for about a year and they’ve held up 100% but the outside leather has gotten so wrinkled and torn up, inside is still like new. My problem is that they fit a lot looser than I remember them being when I bought them, I wish I would’ve gotten a 1/2 size smaller
That character's boots are supremely annoying to anyone watching who is really from Texas. The shafts of the boots were so floppy that they stuck out from the pants. I don't care how depressed a Texas man gets or how much he doesn't give a shit, none of us would wear boots like that. It's also irritating that they think we would buy into the LAPD allowing him to dress like that or not have a holster for his gun. Good riddance to that show.
@@SeanTownsendStormrider agreed 100% the way he wore them is weird, wearing them over the pants like some ranch hand, and about wearing his gun without a holster... dont even get me started.
I swear, if the discovery channel did a show on cowboy boots and their history they should have you voice it haha. Radio voice for sure! Great video and good honest review. It seems like those boots would be good s*** kickers for doing work in.
I bought a pair from Cavender's. They didn't come nicely packaged like ones in the video. The box was smashed and there wasn't any kind of cardboard on the inside. Basically the boots thrown in the box. The boots are really cool looking, great color i was disappointed to see they were glued. For me used to new balance shoes they are hard (of course) but comfortable enough. Looking forward to getting them broken in. Like i said they are very cool looking through.
I looked at so many reviews that said the ramblers were basically pre broken in.... No... no, they are not. I have the same top foot pressure your talking about. Had em for a while now and definitely not broken in yet due to not being able to wear them much. Hope they iron out.
Great review! Can see you are Rambler hesitant 😂 Some of us just love it. I’d recommend buying it in a store to get the fit right. I go with a size smaller… I love them!
Hi there, again in my opinion, a boot that’s basically a leather upper golosh or rubber boot, I honestly feel they are cheap and according to retailers here in Australia, difficult to repair. One sales person in our local saddlery store said, the boots need to be sent overseas for repairs, so it’s a throw away product here. The price point is way over the top in Australia with a quick google search showing the ankle boot at over $230 and the full size boot shown here listed on one site at $429. In my opinion, like a lot of products today, it’s high price with high turnover, using clever marketing to brand and create the demand. Reviews show positive results here in Australia, but I wonder how many are actually wearing the product for show over genuine work conditions, a trip down to the local coffee joint, doesn’t match up to the rigours of farm work. Thanks Jeremiah you are doing awesome.
Hey Paul! I love your input from Australia. It's a different perspective on boots especially with such a different price point. Hopefully the growing popularity of boots can increase the supply there and drive down prices
if you can help me please the same thing happens to me, how did you do it to break the instep, they are very tight on the top of the feet, please answer

I just don’t got my Ariat ramblers in the mail today from Airat definitely a different fit like you said there going to take some getting use too I see that
I got some Cody James boots for my birthday. I think you can only order them from boot barn because it’s their brand. They are the best looking boots I’ve ever had. They took a good bit of breaking in, but the look is worth it. They’re well made too
Also I know you’ve tried the Wrangler cowboy cut jeans they work pretty good with me. However I like the Wrangler Retro better. They are more like the 527 Levi’s like you wear. They come in Slim Boot, Slim Straight, Relaxed Boot and Relaxed Straight. I currently have the slim straight and relaxed boot. Probably gonna get the slim boot cuts later on because they’re more like the 527s. They also have that good look that the Levis have

Hey Jeffery, I haven't tried the midtown rambler but I have tried the Booker which is similar and based off of the Midtown Rambler - ua-cam.com/video/cwZHnkqewDs/v-deo.html
@@JeremiahCraig Thanks for including this video. That's interesting, there seems to be some cross-branding going on here. The midtown is advertised as having the ATS insole, which the rambler has but the booker does not. These are my first pair of cowboy boots, or really any boot for that matter outside of winter boots. They were really comfortable right from the get-go, in fact the salesman actually fitted an instep to make it a tighter fit saying that if it's loose out of the box, it'll only stretch more as you break them in. When I saw the model "midtown rambler" I recognized the name, having seen your review of the regular rambler as well as the traditional Ariat ropers while I was doing research. The square toe was a pleasant surprise too, if you'd asked me before hand I would've said no; all I've worn is round.
Jeremiah Craig I haven’t, but would like to see a review and was wondering if the vents really help with heat management through the shaft. I can see your point though. My belief is that leather lining is best for keeping cool.
Do you think the stiffness is the sole or the leather? I personally don’t mind a boot that takes some time to break in, as long as I know the leather is quality and nice and thick and will last me for a good while, the Ariat Ramblers are definitely a great shit kicker boot, i love to have a pair of these!!
Moses Miller the insole on mine was cardboard not leather. The leather was decent with scratches and scuffs. Personally I wouldn’t reccomend. These were my 1st pair and they weren’t great. I have em for 2 years so that’s good
Love my Ariat Ramblers. Especially love the style of the square toe. I own a pair of Ramblers and a pair of boulets... I am not a fan of the boulets. They never get worn.
Feel free to correct me, I am new to western style boots & looking for my first set of boots. These are ropers, and not cowboy boots, correct? The difference being the shorter, flatter heel and shorter shaft.
I have a pair of Ramblers. Thought they looked really cool before I purchased them. They're okay, but certainly not my favorite pair of Ariat boots. The shaft doesn't IMO make the boots feel like cowboy boots. They're comfortable, just not my favorite.
Hey man, what cleaner did you use? I have boots on which the leather looks similiar, im already using the redwing boot conditioner and need a cleaner next!
if you can help me please the same thing happens to me, how did you do it to break the instep, they are very tight on the top of the feet, please answer
I didn't really feel that I need to break them in I bought them and used them at work the next day heck I wore them out the store maybe cus I wear military and hiking boot 90% of the time and those I need them stiff so that's probably why the stiffness never bugged me. I've been wearing them daily for about 3 or 4 months now and they are my favorite boots. The foot mold they used was probably very similar to my foot
I’m looking to get my first pair of boots. I love the style of these boots but it looks like they would be a bit rough on my feet, especially for someone who is not used to wearing boots. Are there other brands that carry a similar style?
Haha trust me I wasnt raised a city slicker and I'm not too content about living in one but that doesn't mean I don't know how to work!! I'm down for blowing those cinder blocks out too haha Let's go!
Hmm? I guess that's how the manufacturer pronounces the word: "Air-ee-ut". It rhymes with lariat. That makes sense. I heard someone say "Ahh-ree-ut". Tomato, to-mah-toe.
I heard they took their name from the race horse Secretariat. So when I say the horse's name that's how I say the company's name too but I guess it all depends on where you are from
My experience with the rambler boots is that they are an odd fit, even for a wide square toe. I will say that my sedonas and ropers from ariat fit much better and are of much better quality imo.
Hey everyone I know I am a little late but I just ordered a pair of these and worried about sizing this is my first pair of boots I got a 10 EE and I usually wear a 9 1/2 in regular tennis shoes did I go to high on the size??
Nice job Jeremiah. But they are not for me. 130 to 160 bucks I would buy Laredo. You would get a better looking boot and you would save a few bucks. Love your reviews though. Thanks man.👍
I am looking at getting these as my first "slip on" style boot. I wear Police duty style boots to ride my motorcycle, and Carhartt boots daily. I was looking to get a pair of harness boots, but I feel like the square toe cowboy boots would fit the same criteria, and there seems to be more options. Can anyone comment how these are riding motorcycle? Can the sole/ heel be replaced when they wear out?
ARIAT is at the bottom of my boot buying list. There is so much better boots out there for the same or less money. There must be some good margins and terms on the retail side from ARIAT because most western stores are flooded with them and it’s not due to being the best quality or lowest priced.
They are one of the most popular brands for sure and it's super interesting to me how people either love them or hate them. I'm intrigued by how much expanding they've been doing. Now with Mexican made lines and even US made boots too
I looked at a pair of their Mexican made full quill ostrich a couple weeks back and they were nice but I just didn’t care for the overall shape of the boot. I actually have some of their jeans and like them. I think they are made in Mexico. Love the channel! Keep up the good work.
Not a stupid question at all. I don't believe these can be resoled. The only place that would do it would be an official Ariat resoling facility but honestly I don't think it'd be worth it. What it would cost for a resole you'd be better off just buying a new pair at their price point
I know this is an older video but these were my first boot I ever bought… I’ve had them for 3 years and wear them at least 2 to 3 times a week and I still love them! I can wear them for hours without my feet hurting.

1 of my friends got some of them there kind of boots he said they were brand new and they looked old now i no why
if you can help me please the same thing happens to me, how did you do it to break the instep, they are very tight on the top of the feet, please answer
They make these in kids and im gonna get a pair for school
I didn't really feel that I need to break them in I bought them and used them at work the next day heck I wore them out the store maybe cus I wear military and hiking boot 90% of the time and those I need them stiff so that's probably why the stiffness never bugged me. I've been wearing them daily for about 3 or 4 months now and they are my favorite boots. The foot mold they used was probably very similar to my foot
How are they in the summer
I’m looking to get my first pair of boots. I love the style of these boots but it looks like they would be a bit rough on my feet, especially for someone who is not used to wearing boots. Are there other brands that carry a similar style?
What would you say the best square toe boots under $250 are? Or just the best cheap boot companies?
Jeremiah, have you tried the Ariat Heritage Roper boots? They are my favorite boots
Haven't tried them yet but I'll get them on my list
You can handle a shovel pretty good for a Yee-Yee city slicker LOL Now let's just get some TNT and blast that thing out!
Haha trust me I wasnt raised a city slicker and I'm not too content about living in one but that doesn't mean I don't know how to work!! I'm down for blowing those cinder blocks out too haha Let's go!
What Ariat insoles would be best to be on your feet on concrete all day ?
Man im really thinking about buying these boots.do they feel like your swimming in them? I have been looking at these boots for awhile.
Hmm? I guess that's how the manufacturer pronounces the word: "Air-ee-ut". It rhymes with lariat. That makes sense. I heard someone say "Ahh-ree-ut". Tomato, to-mah-toe.
I heard they took their name from the race horse Secretariat. So when I say the horse's name that's how I say the company's name too but I guess it all depends on where you are from
Wow !!!! Great looking boots.
What’s the sizing like on these? I’m not as familiar with this brand as I’ve always worn Rocky boots. Are they true to size or run big or small?
My experience with the rambler boots is that they are an odd fit, even for a wide square toe. I will say that my sedonas and ropers from ariat fit much better and are of much better quality imo.
I agree. Odd fit but I did warm up to it a bit. Nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks so haha
Thanks man.👍
Thanks for watching Scotty! Definitely not a boot for everyone but it's rare that a boot ever is for everyone haha
@@JeremiahCraig agreed 🤠
Do you find these arait boots fit to size? Like if I'm 10.5 in a regular shoe
Good music definitely checking out
Not glued together, it's a good year welt which means it was burned together, very difficult than plain glue. Dr martens do that too
If you want some really nice distressed boots. Find some Justin Shawnees. Way better fitting, looking, and will last longer.
Are these boots legit true to size, VERY interested
Keep up the good work.
i wear a 9 1/2 in adidas sneakers what size would u recommend for ariat boots(they are going to be my first pair)
Are these only women's shoes?
I can't find men's sizes on the site. How to be?
Can you do a review on the Ariat heritage roughstock? I’ve been looking to get a boot with a cowboy heel.
Sure! I'll keep my eyes open for a pair
Can these boots be re-soul? I know might be a stupid question.
Not a stupid question at all. I don't believe these can be resoled. The only place that would do it would be an official Ariat resoling facility but honestly I don't think it'd be worth it. What it would cost for a resole you'd be better off just buying a new pair at their price point
I stand on my feet for 14 hours I’m a size 10.5 in regular shoes should I get 11 I hear they run bigger
Get a size 10, I wear size 11 and got 10.5 and they fit great
Thank you so much , I'm definitely going to buy one.
Where can I buy ariat if I am not from America? Can you do some toy cars crushing using your boots?
How do these fit compared to Rujo Case boots
