  • A quick look at mobility on the trencher using the boom and arm to "crawl." Also some fast digging.

Looks like you're getting the hang of the HF trencher. I've had mine 5 years now and I can run it with my eyes closed.😁It never ceases to amaze me the things I can find to do with it here on the farm.

Yeah. Getting this machine has been a real game changer. It’s opened up a lot of possibilities with the land I would never have otherwise considered. My biggest challenge is not to be too overambitious, not because the trencher can’t handle it, but because there just aren’t enough hours in the day.

It is orderable in the USA, I think, through the Harbor Freight website. They are in high demand, so delivery appears to be slow.

doesn't seem like you are even trying to fill the bucket ...is their a reason?

I can usually get a very full bucket when digging below grade. In this video I was digging at ground level and reaching forward. In this case the bucket curl is not enough to capture a lot of material. There is an adjustment to the bucket linkage that resolves this but I have not performed it. Henry Cox, another UA-camr (Double M Farm Homestead) shows this in one of his videos.
