When he said "it's her" that was the ghoul that said "thank you" when she had them released in the Super Duper Mart, he recognised her. he probably spread the story of the vault dweller that saved him and the other ghouls.
It’s always ironic to the call back of episode 6or 7. Lucy told maximus if her father knew she destroyed an entire civilization to save him he’d be disappointed meanwhile her father did that exact thing to “save” her.
My theory is that Barbara is in another vault. Or she was and is now on the surface. Vault 31 was management for vaults 32 and 33, but she seemed to be a higher rank than Bud Askins, so she wouldn't be with the assistants (Hank was hers). She also spoke as though she was trying to get into a vault that manages *all* the vaults, as some sort of umbrella over the whole thing.
I don't quite take it as the brotherhood has "cold fusion". I interpreted it as the brotherhood wanted to destroy this. It was a race against Moldaver. Having Moldaver activating cold fusion at the end was definitely a W for anybody but the brotherhood...
Well Moldava said that cold fusion was basically limitless energy and would have solved the energy crisis. But Vaultec bought every institution away of her to prevent it
I think at the very least we're going to get some Enclave stuff in the pre-War timeline. They were very tied up in what Vault-Tec was doing, if I recall. We also got the tease in ep. 2 that the Enclave remnants Wilzig was with were working with FEV (or at least experimenting on existing super mutants), so I think that's something we might see as part of what Maximus and the Brotherhood wind up doing. After all, FEV, super mutants, and West Tek are all very closely tied to the origins of the Brotherhood and *why* they are so dedicated to seizing advanced technology the way they do.
There's also the fact that it seems like a big part of season 2 will be New Vegas considering the ending teaser. So we'll likely also be seeing which ending of FONV is canon.
The actor who plays Dane is actually a guy, and refers to themself as He or They." It's kinda cool, I thought they were a female trying to be a dude. But it's the other way around.
So im gonna put out some of my questions and theories: - Who the hell could bully The ghoul like that? (grave) - What do they do with dead bodies in vault 33? Betty said they buried Rose, which we know is not true, however weve seen bodies outside the vault, still Woody said no one has ever opened the outer door. - Lucy was around 6 when she was in Shady. How does she not remember that clearly? Again, how did they escape the vault without opening the outer door? And my theory: the "enclave" guy is totally not from the enclave and that institution we see is NOT the enclave. First of all, the only one who says the guy is from the enclave is the BoS leader. That guy is about to betray the brotherhood as he told Maximus hes gonna build a new one with the likes of him, so i wouldnt give too much credibility to the guy. And since the BoS and NCR are hunting the enclave, its easy to see why he puts the enclave tag on Wilzig. The institution we see Wilzig in is either RobCo or Vault-Tec, but i say RobCo. They are experimenting with robot dogs. Wilzig is there as a Vault-Tec employee, partner of RobCo. He brought cold fusion to try to figure it out/decode it, whatever (since its not a vaulttec product, they bought it). I think they also had pip-boys, not 100% sure about that. After he figured it out, he sneaks a dog out with him that is not on any list because it should have been incinerated (hence the 404 name) only for his preplanned escape journey. More reason why i think hes a vaulttec employee: he knows all about the vaults, at least he knows well vault 33, he must know Lucys dad, as he recognized her and knew her family name. He killed himself with a vaulttec product, the cyanide pill, and he also said he was surprised it wasnt a more popular product. Hes talking about it like someone who sold them. Looking forward to your thoughts
Yeah, my head canon for Max is a Luck focused build with high Charisma and Perception and a lower intelligence (but not dumb speech options low). Idiot Savant works with that perfectly.
After watching all of this, in ep 1 you see coop scoop up his daughter and head for the hills, in ep 8 he asks, as a ghoul, where's his family? Does that mean he made it to a vault and barb admitted the daughter and not him? Cause sheeesh 🤯
18:11 the main plot in the game Fallout 76 is the player gets the launch codes of the bombs as per instructed by Vault-tec, and 76 is early on in the timeline before the show's events. Since then Vault-tec has the means to unleash nukes onto whoever they see as a threat to their vision of humanity and Hank labeled Shady Sands as a threat for them.
There are no Florida vaults because the water table is bad for a vault. Same for Hawaii One nuke would destroy the whole state. There's no point in building a vault there. And I grew up there.
14:45 it’s a theory of mine, but I think Moldaver willingly volunteered as a scientist to Vault-Tec, and prolly also the one to be in charge of working on her cold fusion tech in the enclave or maybe Big MT (the super experimental scientific institute that we saw the rep of at the Vault-tec room). It’s clean energy that Vault-tec didn’t need at the time when they have to drop the bombs, but WILL eventually use later on when they create the perfect conditions of a perfect human society. Supposedly maybe their GECK kits they manufactured, that has clean energy too, might’ve been inferior to actual cold fusion but they have to keep it intact for later cuz it’s just the ONE. And they need the EXPERT who made the tech to maintain and activate it at the perfect time. But Williams, becoming later Moldaver, didn’t want to wait 🤔
The executive meeting you're seeing in this episode where Coop is listening in is a meeting of the Enclave. The Enclave was a combination of certain very high-ranking government officials, including the POTUS, and high-ranking execs of the corporations represented at the table. Pip-Boys were developed by RobCo but Vault-Tec obviously made heavy use of them; etc. Connections.
I think Dane is going to be more important in coming episodes. They saved Maximus from death twice, then intervened to declare him a hero at the end. I have a hunch what their agenda concerning Maximus might be (NOT romantic), but I guess we'll see.
Moldaver was never evil, she simply hates vault-tec for stealing her cold fusion and her company away from her. She no doubt also used cryo-sleep as the only other way would be by being a ghoul. Knowing what Moldaver knew about Hank, hard to blame her for what she did in episode one. She no doubt hired the raiders to go with her NCR people to get in and cause chaos and grab Hank, notice how she did the bomb and trapped most of the raiders inside leaving them behind. This city at the end was New Vegas, so play New Vegas it is a great game.
It's very unlikely that BGS would ever switch to Unreal for several reasons. First and foremost, their team is trained on their current engine, and switching engines would be a massive undertaking. Second, Unreal isn't necessarily capable of everything they would need it to be, which would also then require more development time to try and implement those things. Third, their engine already has a long history of mod support, so not only does the creation kit exist, but a plethora of third party tools as well. Switching engines would be a massive hit to that. Last but not least, there isn't really much of a benefit to switching to Unreal. You couldn't even necessarily expect fewer bugs, and if anything might end up with more since they would be working with an engine they are less familiar with. It's really just not worth the hassle.
I can say that after this show was finished with their first season, the developers of the recent fallout games has gotten an update for PS5 to look more polished and Fallout 76 is looking more appealing that the game shall run smoothly 😉 so I hope you give the games a nice gameplay try and I shall be down to watch your gameplay of any kind.
One thing that bugs me is that it's highly implied that Moldaver and Rose were lovers, yet Moldaver let a raider take her beloved Rose's daughter and just let him do whatever he wanted, including almost killing her. What exactly was the thinking behind that? You'd think Lucy would be off limits. Also, I keep saying that I think Maximus is lucked out and will "idiot savant" his way to BOS leadership. I can't wait to see if my prediction comes true! Also, I would love to see Maximus and Lucy be a thing to the end. 🥰
I love watching viewers discover that the series is actually nothing but a series of narrative payoffs in Episode 8. Hey 'Hollywood'! Remember when almost EVERY show had narrative payoffs in your scripting? Maybe return to it, and the kids will stop whining about 'the woke'. They only notice the mind control when it's done very poorly. ... That said, Fallout is very much a counter-cultural text, masquerading as corporate franchise fiction. Which, in turn, is faithful to the original Fallout source material.

When he said "it's her" that was the ghoul that said "thank you" when she had them released in the Super Duper Mart, he recognised her. he probably spread the story of the vault dweller that saved him and the other ghouls.
And rumor says it's Todd Howard playing that ghoul
For the record, RobCo's CEO is Robert House. Also known as Mr House.
Having his first name be MAXWELL was probably a bit risky. Plus, he's more a Howard Hughes homage.
The ghoul who said "It's her" was the one who said "Hey, thanks!" back at the Super Duper Mart when she forced their release.
I'd missed that. Thanks.
The 'code' is also the official release date of the first Fallout game. Genius.
How much Fallout did hey say he's played. "What the fuck is this car"?

I get the feeling she's located in whatever facility Wilzig was at, with the Enclave.
I mean she was still rich so she could have had her own cryo chamber
Depending on how canon they want Tactics to be, she could be in Vault 0, which…is not an enviable fate
I think Barb is in New Vegas. Either in cryo or out. 31 was middle management. Barb was an executive.
Yes, there is going to be a season 2.
Maximus got the Idiot Savant perk lollll

Glad you were vague when discussing the Sopranos and consciously did not spoil it for people like me who have yet to watch it. Much appreciated!
i only just watched it last year so i imagine there are others who haven't seen it like myself.

Mr house as the robco ceo is so amazing. Especially since he didnt agree with their plan effectively canonizing the entirety of new vegas.
There's also the fact that it seems like a big part of season 2 will be New Vegas considering the ending teaser.

It is a girl tryen to be a guy , voice hasn’t changed and by bone structure and body as a whole
12:25 The ONLY reactor I’ve seen who has voiced that realization! When it comes to Lucy, Maximus is basically a guardian Angel.
So im gonna put out some of my questions and theories:
- Who the hell could bully The ghoul like that? (grave)

theres a perk called Idiot Savant that gives double XP occasionally, it triggers MORE when intellegence is lower.... i think thats Maximus' secret
Yeah, my head canon for Max is a Luck focused build with high Charisma and Perception and a lower intelligence (but not dumb speech options low). Idiot Savant works with that perfectly.
Triple, on the first rank, five times on the second, a proc chance for a 3x multiplier on kill xp for a period on the third
After watching all of this, in ep 1 you see coop scoop up his daughter and head for the hills, in ep 8 he asks, as a ghoul, where's his family? Does that mean he made it to a vault and barb admitted the daughter and not him? Cause sheeesh 🤯
Season 2. Welcome to New Vegas
Coop’s “I guess not” and that smirk was fire
i want them to make a Fallout vault 4 comedy show, like the office!
I hope they make another season. A season 2 will probably have a bigger budget.
i think they confirmed it already
26:37 this is new vegas

Maximus keeps failing upwards.

🤔 but there's a vault right by Santa Monica pier?
@@FreshestKReacts yeah, which is causing trouble with Vault 33's water. Building underground that close to the coast is NUTS
Theory...majority of the show was to be the next fallout

Moldaver is the one who created cold fusion so shes gotta have connections. She probably got herself her own cryopod. Keep up.
I though Moldaver is BBEG, turns out her settlement is California Good Neighbour.
Amazon green lit season 2 before season 1 aired IIRC.

S2 possibility Ghoul & Lucy find out Coppers wife in 31 have to try and save either Norm or Barb

Are you gonna react What If...?
Season 2 bad though
Not 76 before NV 😭. 76 Is the worst Fallout game ever made
