My friends and I always go to Vegas in November, the weather is still good, we don't like the hot desert heat or hanging around a pool anyway.

We arrive 11/19 -- so just after the F1. I'm curious to see how empty it'll be. Also, cross fingers the culinary workers get a contract. They are the backbone.
Building a baseball stadium right there where The Tropicana is at is pretty nutty! That area on the strip is gonna get really hellish with that many more cars coming in.
Not guaranteed, Nevada voters are overwhelmingly against public funding $500 million and taxpayer groups are trying to get the stadium funding issue on the 2024 ballot. If it qualifies as a ballot proposal, the A's stadium public funding will be denied. The A's lobbyists are suing to block the ballot proposal because they know voters don't want to fund a dying sport.
I've never done video editing before, but watching your videos, I can tell how much work you and Mr. Ruby put into them. Your audio is always flawless with smooth transitions. Keep up the good work, and good luck hitting 300,000.

I'm a F1 fan but I have the feeling this race will not go over well with the normal fans. It's really disrupting not only the locals but the regular visitors to Vegas.

I enjoy F1 too but they’ve just taken over the city. Not fair as the only people who can really afford this are the super rich 🤑
This is only good for casino owners at the expense of citizens. F1 will never come back
Not an f1 fan but how they making impossible seeing it without spending a ton of money makes it easy to not give a shit about it and never watch it
F1 since the 90s and LOVE this and CAN NOT WAIT, this will be awesome.
We just got back last week from our first trip to Vegas. Are definitely going back, but not REMOTELY near the same time of year next time. So much disruption because of the F1 it was ridiculous. I feel so badly for the people that have to live or work around that disaster.
Thanks for this as always, but mixed feelings about Sunset Station. It's one of the last places with relatively cheap craps tables, and I would bet that's going away after all the money they spend on it. Yay.

Thank you for this! Navigating the F1 is going to be tricky for small business, but I’m looking forward to it! We worked in the Sphere a couple of months ago doing massages for their engineering team, but weren’t allowed into the main area, for a sneak peek. So funny we were working right outside the doors to the main stage…so close!!! Yes, please share your experience when you go. Would love to see that! I’m excited for the 50 foods event!

Ruby, you and James (Coolist) are our go-to Vegas people! We were just there this past weekend (10/27-10/29/2023) and F1 took over. Holy smokes!!! The construction and detours were definitely something to contend with. Our biggest gripe: almost none of the up escalators were working on the pedestrian bridges which was insane!!
We are coming Monday after the race for my birthday. Super excited we were there last year the same week. A little worried the Strip will still be a chaotic mess but nonetheless we will have a great time. Spa Suite at MGM Grand , dinner at Morimoto's and Ka are already booked.

Will be interesting to see how quick they dismantle the stands etc.
We used to hold F1 in Adelaide (Australia) and they could dismantle most stuff within 1-2 weeks.
Good update this month, definitely improving over time. 9⁰I will be coming on December 10th for 5 nights at Caesars Palace. I appreciate your time picking out the best and newest hot spots to check out.
Thanks for the great info! My wife and I told the kids they are on their own this year and we are heading to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving week this year. Usually stay at Bellagio or Aria, but imagine even after the F1 event, it will still be a mess taking down all the scaffolding, stands, etc. so staying down at Mandalay Bay-another property we enjoy and out the way from F1 shenanigans.

We arrive in Vegas on the 19th and just hoping the F1 stuff doesn't spoil things too much. when we booked last year we realise this was going to be the case but pretty sure it will be great anyway. Thanks for the videos Ruby most of our recommendations

Heading there the 15th - 21st for F1. Staying at NY NY. Only concern is how long it will take to get to the hotel from the airport. Once there, I plan on staying on that end of the strip while son and his dad go to the race events. I think it will be fine as long as you leave plenty of extra time for transportation to anywhere you may need to go.

Visiting Vegas for my first time during Thanksgiving weekend. Just wanted to say your vids have been very informative.
Ruby, coming down the week before f1. Hopefully all the f1 construction will be completed. Pretty bummed out about paying for parking. They already screw you on resort fees now it's parking fees.Going to the sphere for post card earth. Hop to see you in town. Thanks for the November update. I'm staying at south point. They still have free parking as far as I know.

I'm coming soon on the 11th with my boyfriend to watch the Jets vs. Raiders game, and looking at your videos for more ideas of what to do on the other days. I did not know about the Kylie Minogue residency and got SUPER excited to get that info from you until I saw the ticket prices and now I'm torn :/ I love her, and she hasn't toured the US in so long. We are also checking out The Sphere, which should be fun. We didn't realize the F1 thing when we booked our trip, so fingers crossed we can avoid most of the chaos.

@TravelRuby I just did a 2-night stay at the Waldorf and the hotel is amazing. It was the best part of my 4 night stay and the service from the concierge, front desk, servers at the Tea Lounge, driver for the Waldorf's limo, and at the Hotel Bar were simply top class. Plus, I got upgraded to a suite from my std room and had the same view as I would have from the tea lounge and most importantly I got to ride in the Waldorf Limo (very hard to get as there is only one and every guest tried to get it).
Could definitely tell you more and I'm inspired to make a video covering my entire Vegas stay as I booked everything with my credit card points. Best two free nights I've ever redeemed for
Hi Ruby! As always love the content. I'm booked at the Venetian starting the 19th of November. After watching the giant CF the strip looks like I'm canceling my trip. I know it's the day F1 ends but I want no part of this mess.

We're staying at Encore Nov. 12 to 15.... getting out of Vegas before F1 starts. I'm kinda hoping that being at the north end of the Strip will shield us from some of the F1 havoc. We'll probably go across the street to the Venetian for lunch at Yardbird when we first arrive, but I doubt we will go any further south on the Strip than that!

We will be visiting LV from the 13th till the 16th and are absolutely bummed that we won't be able to get to see the city in it's full glory with all the F1 construction, but i'm sure we will enjoy it nonetheless!

Stay inside fountain blu if the weather picks up. I’ve heard windows are falling of the building near the pool and they can’t find a company to fix the problem.

I'm a fan of both your vlogs! Can you tell us, if you have info., how long the repair to all the "destructive" construction for F! (incl. removing stands) it will take to do? I would like to plan a visit, but not if there will be insane traffic and constr. for months etc. to fix the side-walks, stand removal etc etc!!!
They started grand stand construction 2 months before the race, itll take similar time frame for removal, especially if they're going to reuse it a year from now for the next race... ugh lol
I bought front row tickets to Keith Urban on November 18th before I figured out that F1 was going to be there. Hope I didn't make a mistake. We are staying at Cosmo say a prayer for us lol . Love your videos you guys are the best
Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Elara Hilton - Good time - visited Red Rock, Freemont, Sphere and all the usual casino's on the strip. You cannot appreciate how bad traffic is because of the Grand Prix - we had a car for a couple days and just getting into the Elara parking lot took an hour, dead ends and illegal turns. Don't rent a car if you can until it's over and walking around the Bellagio is a downer but better than having to drive through there. :)

I believe not all pools are closed in the winter. I was told the pools at The Signature MgM Grand stay open during the winter.

We just got back from Vegas and we did go see Postcard from Earth at the Sphere and it was amazing. Highly recommend it if you're in town.
Staying at Park MGM again. Great prices, rooms, location on the strip (going to NYNY next door to see Mad Apple), no smoking, etc. Leaving on Th/11/16 to avoid the MEGA crowds and prices that F1 will bring.
