I might have to try and learn this technique. I am used using my pointer finger for HP, Run and LP my middle for block and index for LK HK. When I get into a heated match I normally started accidentally pressing random buttons. Doesn't help I have short sausages for fingers. Your way would probably allow for faster more precise button presses. Now to try and break the habit I have had for 30 years.
Seven years later, and I'd like to know what your game room looks like now. I know things are different now. Especially with all your work at "The Arcade". If your arcade room is still around, I'd love to see an updated tour some time.
With controls is harder, i always played in machines like those ones, my parents never wanted to buy me one snes lol, i would like to have all those machines in my house to play all day i dont like controls...
@@Izabella_playz you ever heard of arcade1up? They are bringing back old school arcade games and they have a mk machine with mk1, mk2, and umk3. Only bad thing about it is the price which is 300$ but I do recommend checking them out
Nice walkthrough of the warrior tier of Sub-Zero. Just by watching of all the arcade cabinet machines that you have. I really envy you. Like you said in the previous videos I prefer the old school arcade setup. I don't play the arcade mame in the pc.
Jade is a pain in the butt; projectiles don't do crap on her, and she dodges most attempts at uppercuts or jump attacks. If you're not good with combos, Jade is your worst nightmare.

I have mortal kombat and mortal kombat 2 and mortal kombat 3 and ultimate mortal kombat 3 arcade roms downloaded in my android and mortal kombat 4 nintendo 64 rom with the needed emulaters required and its all good.👍
Sadly most of the portable plug in hand joysticks have very little or not palm rest and they have the knob instead of the baseball bat style handle. Xgaming X-Arcade Solo Joystick looks good.

There's an UMK3 at a comic shop next to me that does this and sadly block/run are configured in the middle. I have such an incredibly hard time trying to play this way that it's just unfeasible to even bother trying.

I bought a cheap console from someone and the joy sticks have terrible slack which causes delays because you have to move the stick to far. Plus it creates many mistakes. Where would you recommend I look for good game consoles especially that have mortal Kombat on it along with other popular games. Or even just the mortal Kombat games.

They are under the control panel overlay, where they are supposed to be. All the machines you see with them on top of the panel have them installed incorrectly.

Arcade stick is how I play most fighting games as I get older. Mainly cause that was the way it was intended.

They...did. with MK9, X and 11. The models are 3D but the gameplay is strictly 2D. Unless you're talking about 2D sprites.

I got arcade1up mk cab. Absolutely awesome. I upgraded the joystick gates and added 4lb springs to the joysticks well. Love the machine
