Dan H look up brooks PS3 to PS4 adapter. All u do is plug it on the end of the cable and then plug it into the system. The joystick will fully control the PS4
I bought at GameStop new for $40. Took it home and it was cool. Thought about it for 2 days and decided to get another one for vs with friends and the other 2 that area stores had when I bought it were gone that fast like that. Oh well, you live you learn.
Great review, bro. I own both of these and was under the assumption that they were exactly the same aside from the differences you pointed out. However, immediately after testing them, i noticed a pretty obvious difference. The MK1 Fightstick felt better. Especially when i pressed the buttons. After a little research, i discovered that the MK1 Fightstick was made with cherry switches, and the MK9 version was not. To any old school gamer who grew up playing these games in the arcade, we can tell the difference. For that reason alone, the MK1 version is far superior to the MK9. 👊
I keep seeing one of these at my nearest retro game shop for $100 and I always pass up on getting it, i need to grab it one of these days before someone else does 😂😂
Honestly, you should. Even if you don't use it, it's still a very cool collectors item to have I think. And there were only so many made. Better grab it while you can 👊
I don’t get how people can play with the joystick and get the moves to work. I’ve been playing Mortal Kombat since I was like three, but if I don’t have a d-pad I can rarely get a move off
I have this and used it foe years. When I turn it on now it flashes and than just stops. I thought it was s the cable went and bought another cable and no luck.
jeff black yes it is. It uses legacy support. Which means u can only play/control the game with it but not the system. However brooks makes a PS3 to PS4 converter that u can plug on the end of it and it allows u to control the entire system
I bought this stick for $80 at GameStop a long time ago, so glad I did
This is nice I use mine for MKX and will soon use it for MK 11
How?

@@GhostfaceDaN MKX supports PS3 controller to use any PS3 arcade stick
And Rock Band 4 support PS3 instrument controllers
Would I be able to connect it to my xbox one

Congratulations bro
I just got ahold of the classic version too. Its number 26. I also have the other version that opens up.
Yeah, it's great! I love it. If I ever see the one for MK9 I'll be sure to pick that one up too. They are fun to use and collect

I know these are old, but what if you want to play 2 player? Do 2 of them work together or no way to do 2 player?
Yeah. I would think they would work together. They should have their own wireless signal like standard controllers
the mk9 stick is a little smaller and lower than that of the Klassic version
hello , luke.¡¡¡ my name is jorge , from chile.
I was inlo e with your fight stick until I was the PDP version..🤭
How much did you pay?
$80 I think it was
Is it ps4 compatible?
