I’m a newly relaxed to natural pixie. My texture is coily/kinky and I can’t imagine the hassle of getting pressed out. I hated getting pressed when I was a longer natural. I looove that your Pixie-ish mousse still works great on my natural cut. Keeps it soft, not crunchy!!
I love that for us ,lol Pixie-ish for the win ‼️
Great video, thank you for sharing. I am getting a professional style cut in the morning. I am natural, going through menopause, want something simple. I love being natural, however, I press my hair and flat iron quite often, breakage is real! I am dedicated to deep conditioning every week! huge on taking care of my hair, self, body, exercise. I know the menopause and flat iron is the cause for heavy shedding. Thanks everyone.
@ Kayinspire this is literally me right. I was natural for 18 years and just permed my hair for a pixie. I’m premenopauseal and as soon as my scalp sweat is a wrap for the press. I don’t regret it but I do miss the fullness of my natural hair. Plus I’m thinning so pixie is going to be perfect. Good luck
This is truly appreciated, almost like you read my mind.
I’m so glad it’s helpful.
I really like the thorough explanations you gave for a the questions that I have. As a thick, kinky coiled hair lady that looks like my Daddy. Therefore, I don't like tapered cuts, I will just tightly curl my hair with my 3/10 flatirons and the top with the 1 3/4 inch flatiron as it grows out.
Gurl Gurl you rock you did this video you answered my thinking process of what is needed for my hair. Now I hope to find a stylist that make can make me pixie beautiful🙂
Best wishes on finding the perfect stylist for your needs
Thank you, very informative!!
Glad it was helpful!
This was so informative! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Very informative. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this video!!! I've been contemplating whether I should cut my hair because it's very thin in the back but thicker on top. I definitely want to keep my hair natural and been searching for a video that showed pixie cuts on natural 4C hair,
You're so welcome!
I’m a guy with short 3C hair and the steps that I use to achieve my hair style are similar to yours except I use a leave in and echo styler. I mold my hair into my desired style and once dry I comb throw it. Everybody thinks my hair is naturally straight and that I used a blow drier to style it. 😂
Awesome
Very informative. Thank you
Thanks for watching‼️
Loved this! I have been able to style and manage my hair since my teen years. I have been natural for 10 yrs and I’m currently considering a tapered with cut but I want the versatility of wearing it curl or straight. Do you have any tips for something like that?
Hi thank you. I’d say minimize how often you wear it straight to lessen the risk of altering your natural curl.
Thank you! I’ve been back and forth on whether I should relax it or not. I think i should just relax, although I love my natural hair and really don’t want to, i think I need to just bite the mullet because I don’t have the skills or time to maintain like I would like to
It’s a big decision I know
My biggest concern is, my hair is thin. I don't want to look bald with relaxed hair, but I want to try the Pixie style.
You could try it without relaxing
@@brandylucasbeauty I know, but it won’t stay straight. The moment moisture hits my hair it immediately reverts back. Also, I am tired of the curls (crazy I know) but looking for a change.
Thank you so much for this excellent explanation. I'm afraid of using relaxers since I had a really bad reaction many years ago. But I have to wash my hair every 2 to 3 days and have dameged so bad to the point that I need to find other options to keep my hair stray. Can I use molding foam w/ natural hair?
I live in cedar hill and I’m looking for a beautician. Are you taking new clients
