I just wanna share a hack that I learned from watching face off that DOES NOT involve putting SCISSORS near your eyeballs. If you take a cottonbud/cuetip and dip it in acetone, most bald caps are dedigned to dissolve away with acetone, so that you can not only trim them safer, but get a seamless blend with your skin right where they're glued down. 👍
where do you get your colored contacts? It's so hard to know who is a reputable source. normally it's not a huge issue but ya know don't want to put bad contacts into my eyeholes.
Omg 😱 you wear your necklace omg I am so happy right now you make me feel love I just want hug you it's me Artemis from Patreon. I miss own chit chats.🎃🎃🎃
@@MissTwisteddd you surprise me very much and you made me feel loved too thank you 🥹 you are my guardian angel and wow you are doing so well I am proud of you how much you done. I have something for you do a neko black cat if you don't mind for my furbaby I lost.
@@MissTwisteddd Gold would be nice, or copper if your keen. I'm running an encounter this weekend with a copper dragon. They're the ones that like riddles and tricking people. :)
Must be one of the coolest and wonderful people ever honestly! Thanks Yuri, I was nervous to take my first step into youtube (minus the youtube shorts of course). Considering how many tutorials I make just for the Patreon I'm surprised how anxious I was!
Congrats on your first youtube tutorial, it’s been amazing seeing you get to develop your artistry over the years. I have a sudden terrible yearning for an airbrush.
Pay attention that the cap you used is not made of latex but vinyl, this is the reason why you can melt the edges with acetone! Vinyl is a latex free material so people that are allergic to latex can use it :) (Latex bald caps are often way thicker and the edges need to be smoothed with more latex or with bondo)
It's nice to be able to show more people! My Patreon supporters have been getting tutorials and behind the scenes stuff for a while but I really wanted to show some more to everyone!
I’ve been dying to see you make your creations. I really liked you being honest with what you intended with your line work and then how you thought it looked in the end. When you see a finished project it’s hard not to assume that the artist intended everything you see from the get go. Great content, thank you.
I am surprised, in MANY WAYS, by your processes!! I am wondering how you keep your skin so pretty with all the paint and glue, etc, on it?? I am also stunned by your whole idea here!! I'm AMAZED!! I had no idea this sort of thing was even existed!!
Youre great! Glam and Gore use to do fun SFX stuff but stoped and is a ghost hunter and idk drama channel now. New to your channel (and UA-cam removed all my subscriptions and history…thanks lol) but so far I love your content!
Very impressive work. Perhaps easy to improve further with black-light-reflective on the white linework? 🤔 (Which could still be complimented by the visible-spectrum LEDs.)
Recently your shorts have popped up on my feed and you are very impressive. I'll be using some of your tips for Halloween this year. Trying to get an early start. I'm looking forward to watching more tutorials.
Where do you get your leds and battery assemblies? I want to add lights to my costume, but can't figure out which ones make sense. Great outfit. So beautiful and clever
Amazing work MissTwisted! The way you explained how you did the LED work and prepped everything was super informative, thankyou for not cutting any of it out of your video. I can see others (myself included) using this tutorial for cool LED effects in future; Thankyou thankyou thankyou for such a good tutorial!
Thank you so much for watching it through and the wonderful feedback! Coming primarily from Tiktok I'm so used to cutting out heaps of stuff for just highlights so it's hard to resist the urge to do so here. I am glad you enjoyed it. I honestly think professional make up artists could do SO MUCH MORE with this concept and I'd love to see it!
These I bought so long ago, I can't remember where sorry! But any hobby store will have them, or you can shop online just look for "tiny LED lights". Your best bet is hobby shops like those that are made for models.

Breathtaking!
When you added colour to the antennae, they reminded me of the cordyceps fungus. o_o

Woah I got a shout out. Thanks Misstwisted. If you need more ideas for content have ever thought of doing more dragons. 😀
I was consideing a gold dragon as I haven't done that colouring yet!
Oooh or even one of the gem dragons, I want to find a way to do the floating horns!

Well they're pricey but if you think you'll get a lot of use out of it it'll be worth it!
I loved this! It looks beautiful and otherworldly. Well done!
For an extra lighting effect, you could try fluorescent makeup and a UV blacklight.

Very beautiful. Really got the vibe of otherworldly, alien beauty down.
It looks fantastic! Well done xx
First thought was that the lines looked like sea-foam!
Really good tutorial! Loved it :)
Yeah I can totally see that! The watery patterning I think!

Would you ever consider making a bulbous alien head to store the battery?
If I had used a UV lamp the end result would have been even more spectacular.
This reminds me of Zen from farscape. love it.
What foam clay do you find best?
Looks amazing, keep it up!!!
