What a lot of people dont realize about the Holyfield fight was Evander was headbutting Tyson a lot coming in and out the clinch with the top of his head. The refs were essentially doing nothing about either. Mike got frustrated after one of these headbutts and bit his ear. I dont ageee with it but getting your face blasted against the top of someone's skull over and over would make me frustrated too
Not only that but Holyfield did it the entire first fight too and refs didnt do shit. He just kept boxing, didnt make a fuss about it and the one or couple times he did refs didnt dock any points I dont even remember Holyfield getting a warning and in boxing its usually 2 MAYBE 3 warnings then they start docking points. Headbutting alone can win a fight if they decide to stop it because of a bad cut they think from a punch because they didnt see the headbutt which can be real subtle. Holyfield is known for being a frequent headbutter idk if the refs just didnt know or didnt care

The most sympathy I've had for MT is hearing him wax poetic about jail as kid regarding it as a treat and lucky to be there as a kid.
