Maybe Linda was gushing about him and his wife so much and Paul took notice. That's a very touching story, he love Linda dearly.

I got a cuddle from Linda when I was five (which was a very long time ago now) - it's one of my earliest memories and I can still vividly remember how warm she was, how soft, and oddly, how nice she smelled.

Paul is such a ‘unique’ artist, the like of whom mankind may get to see perhaps every two hundred years!! Let’s all enjoy the experience of this “music TITAN” while we all can. I say yes simply because of who this man has become.

What a great story! Oh....no doubt about it....Linda nudged Paul from the spirit world to get in that pic. I've had this happen many many times myself. I can't MAKE it happen......but it will happen when the opportunity meets the need for Earthly proof in front of my eyes. OK....here's a quickie / good Paul / Linda story. I've lived in Tucson Arizona since '61....when it was small. Paul and Linda had a home on the extreme east side of town, out in the desert....away from subdivisions, etc. They were horse people....esp. Linda....who had lived in Tucson off and on since she went to U of A as a young woman. Come to think of it...Tucson is where Linda passed.....Paul had purposely misled the media jerks that they were in other towns, and Linda died quietly with family around, and the mis-direct worked. Anyhow, my buddy had trailered his horse out to the east side....and rode the desert trails on his horse out there for hours. Later on...they rode back to where their trailer was sitting to load this horse. My bud got his horse partially in the trailer, but something spooked it or it was being ornery...who knows, but the horse's butt was still not in the trailer. Along drives Paul and Linda. They get out of their car, ask my bud if they could help him get the horse loaded. Paul and Linda get their heads right around the back end of that horse and their shoulders in his backside....and they all push at once. The horse went in easily, and that was that. He said he never would have believed that Paul / Linda would EVER had stuck their heads on that horses dirty ass.....but they did and didn't whimper about it. They chatted quickly, shook hands.....and everybody drove off. Pretty cool...huh! People are just people.
To horse people the smell of a barn is like the sweetest perfume. Thanks for a great story.

I now live in Scarsdale NY where Linda grew up, I often walk in a wooded park near her home and behind her high school, where I know she spent time as child fascinated by nature, and I think of her serene presence in Paul's life. 🙏

I heard him say in an interview that he dreamed the he and John were writing a song and John was singing it. When he woke up he wrote everything down and tried to sing the part. He told the interviewer that John sang it better.

When I heard on the radio that Linda had died I was stunned. I thought she'd beaten breast cancer. And I know they were early vegetarians. I cried. Early on, she was hated because she got Paul, and criticized for joining the band. But her voice is such a part of albums like "Ram," and all the Wings stuff.
Thanks for your impressions on Linda. I remember when Ram came out and I realized Linda was doing the b/u vox on “Long Haired Lady”. I thought, now, that’s different. I saw “Unplugged” yesterday, and Linda’s voice was integral. She was one-of-a-kind, with the biggest heart ever.
And I have a picture of Paul at the piano and he and I are singing hey Jude together, really I do.
