This is the reason I'm considering getting a laser for my diy workshop - making tamplates. Seems like a great solution for the price you pay and versatility you get.

Nice video. If you use masking tape on the areas where the cut is, you can lessen the smoke / burn damage. I use an Xtool 20W laser.
