- As a Twig & Tale Storyteller, I received this pattern for free, but all thoughts and follies are my own.
I'm filling some small wardrobe gaps with this deliciously cool and swishy striped skirt made from a linen/cotton blend fabric.
Additional materials: cotton thread, 1-inch wide elastic, 13 metal buttons

The stripes are great. Love the horizontal pocket detail. Looks amazing and cool.
Glad you like them!
It's so great to find a sewing youtuber with a similar body shape to mine, and this skirt is ADORABLE! Love a natural fiber flowy summer skirt. And, bonus, your cat looks just like mine!😁
Thank you! I often find it hard to find brands of clothing or patterns that suit my body type well, which is why I started sewing my wardrobe. I share because other people are probably in the same position and might find this info useful.
So glad I'm hitting my target audience haha
@@OdessaDenby It's so true, I can get by but usually there's something I don't like about the fit of a garment... One of these days I hope to start doing videos of my own sewing journey, but so far my brain only wants to do one thing at a time, either videos OR sewing, not both xD anyway, glad I subscribed, I am enjoying your videos. Have a great day!
Beautiful , love stripes 😍
Thank you! I mainly have solid bottoms on my wardrobe, so I needed a little something different
excellent cat break, and good call on the vertical stripes
She's very persistent 🤭
I think the vertical stripes add some pizzazz and make me visually longer/taller, which is nice!
Very pretty 😀
Very cute fluffy helpers, and a nice skirt too
Love the stripes. I'd like to get better at pockets of that style
It's similar to a classic in-seam pocket, but the top of the skirt panel is notched in to reveal the back piece of the pocket.
The Fernway Culottes from Twig and Tale also have the same style if you wanted to make some pants with that feature!
