I just picked up a disk copy after realizing it wasn’t on the digital store anymore. I played 2 matches, and the first was 2v2 while the second had a full lobby. I am definitely rusty since playing on pc years ago!
titanfall 1 has a lot of specific details i find more appealing than titanfall 2, custom titan loadouts are a big one but a less talked about difference is all of titanfall 1's maps have a hazard or interactable element in them that makes them unique and more fun, titanfall 2 abandoned this feature completely. i miss the anti titan auto turrets and electric traps and animal attacks!
I absolutely love how you could pick a specific chassis and use any titan weapon. I feel like with only 3 different titans there were way more options and varieties in gameplay styles than all of those new fandangled titans. A stryder with dash coreand a triple threat was devastatingly OP. Ive single handedly dominated full lobbies without dying.
I loved this game back in the day. If I ever renew my Xbox Live (playing pc now), I'd try it again. Too bad the game was treated so poorly. I also think it's too bad there's not a campaign or some kind of offline bot mode to have some fun with if the game is dead when you're searching or if certain gamemodes are dead. Driftor has commented in his videos on more than one occasion that he thinks Titanfall 1 possibly had the best feeling movement of any FPS all time. I agree.
You probably like titanfall1 more cause it seems much more grounded. A lot closer to COD. (though both games are very cod-like, just the more advanced movement and good hip-fire does a good job at hiding it in titanfall2). I mean, despite saying the movement is so good, you seem to never use it, though being on controller probably makes it a taller order.
God I miss this legendary game. The balance in gameplay is undisputed. Titanfall 2 is definitely unbalanced as hell. Titanfall 1 was so well designed for fair play! Everyone gets the same tools to choose from out of the same tool box. Who can use them better? You kill me, you're better, i kill you, I'm better! I am awfully proud of my Gen 10 status in that game too.
I hate that the first Titanfall is online only, like why does it have to be an online only game? What if you don't have internet at home? You're excluded from playing this game until you get internet. I'm glad Titanfall 2 isn't online only.
Picked up the game from a thrift store yesterday. Played it just before it was removed from EA play. Disappointed to see there was nobody online. On Xbox servers at least.
The game work very well on PC for a while. It's still funny to see people on UA-cam playing TF1, all of you are playing it like Call of duty and no one know how to play correctly this game 😆. I don't say that in bad way, it's just truth.
if they revived TF1 EA would literally make so much money off of it again they would probably invest more into the series again. TF1 was peak TF, everything about it was awesome especially for its time period.
I never got to play the orginal titanfall but I love the second it's literally the best fps I've ever played it's a shame ea hasn't made this series it's main shooter because battlefield is garbage now
I have to admit, Titanfall 1 really has a more darkish tone but I think 2 is still great. Titanfall is great in itself, I would love to see a Titanfall 3 with a more competive mode like search and destroy.
There is capaign but is multiplayer type campaign with 4 players minimum required. We are in a group that plays the x360 the Xbox one to join and play any mode including the campaign.

And almost nearly ran at 60fps... As long as the game was installed to the hard drive...

TF1 felt so much more gritty and realistic than 2.
I play pretty often before the player number counter got stuck at 0 a few months back there were around 80 people avg playing.
I play TF1 on PC almost daily. It's an awesome game that was way underrated.
How you find your games? I keep downloading it from time to time and can never get a game.
@@FynnFuin I'm in the u.s. you can Play in the EU server till about noon-ish PST. And then in the US server starting around 4: 30 -5pm pst

For anybody with an Xbox Series S , you can plug in a third-party CD player, like a Blu-ray device, and that should work.

I still hop on this from time to time on my Xbox One X. Awesome game. And I play 2 on my PS5. This game really should've come out on PS4 aswell.
there are few players on xbox 360, we have small community about 100 people. We have group chat and sometimes gather together to play

just checked it on xbox (have the disc version, since day 1) and it shows 0 players worldwide.
Weird, still 0 worldwide, but i got in a match.
