Had the pleasure of “jamming” with these guys backstage after their concert at the oaks club in Rockford back in ’79. Their bassist wasn’t in the mood for a “jam” so they let me fill in. Not easy keeping up with the guys but I tried my best and even though I couldn’t play as well as the rest of the guys they were still super nice to me. Went to the show with my cousin Stacy and her friend Trish from college. The set was incredible and then I probably jammed for almost an hour with them afterwards. Then after we dropped Stacy off at home, Trish took me to 3rd base. Best night of my life I was in heaven 😎
I used to be afraid of this bumper when I was a kid. But thanks for the 20th Anniversary of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial 15 years ago, I'm not afraid of it anymore. 🙂
I wish theaters would still show these old ads just so we could know what it must've been like in that theater back then. Ah well! At least we get old movies back in theaters every now and then and I love the experience.
I always thought it was too smart to die. What will be the top cinema for the world? And What kind of cinema will beat drive-ins so heavily? And what kind of cinema will have anthropomorphic cinema snacks by now?
Too bad someone had to put their film tech web address over the video at the end.... Anyone have a CLEAN version of this with the audio in sync and as high resolution as possible?
I remember this intro well. No matter what movie it was, there was always some idiot in the audience who would burst out laughing when the guy gets his nose stuck at the end. It's not *that* funny, especially after seeing it 20 times. I felt like yelling out - seriously you've *never* seen this before??
CheesyTV I have seen this with Michelle and her two girls whose names are Heather and Brittany. Heather is Michelle's daughter. Brittany is Heather's youngest sister. That was way back in the early 90s. I remembered when I went to Tortilla's Cantina with my mom, I found Heather and Brittany dressed up as Esmeralda (from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame).
My God….
This immediately zapped me right back to the 1990’s. Probably the best years of my life!!!!!!

Wtf?
R.I.P. General Cinema, that turned my childhood upside down.
I was displeased when they replaced the Space Candy pre-roll with this.
I feel like i want to play this before every movie I watch from now on.

0:34 Why did the Raisinets guy get his nose caught in a closing iris?
Pepsi sure can rock out on the drums.
Still looking for the GCC summer movie camp promo from this era.

Thanks for this I never seen this promo
@MvitoC It was acquired by AMC Theatres in 2000 shortly before Garry Marshall worked on The Princess Diaries in 2001.
1993 Candy Band 1990's
The way GCC is gone forever has been one of the worst changes around me.
I love this!

Perhaps FT Depot can remedy the problem.
Ft depot got idea for a clean version of the video without the filmtech Website address in 4k quality and in order to remaster the audio quality!
the one that started it all...
1987-1993 only
1993-1996 only
this was on ebay
Be sure to like, heart, and reply.
