Hi Julie as always I enjoyed watching your thrifting video. Trying to catch up on some videos. Love the picture you got and how you style it . Have a great week . 😊❤❤
That knife is called a butter knife. The other regular knives are called table knives, according to my mom who is in her 80's. The fork patterns matches the set we use everyday. The ones we use were my grandmothers who passed away in 1992. She bought them about 10 years before she died.
Neat finds! Please be in continued prayer for me. Brain mri on july 24 to see if radiation killed the brain cancer. Also a spine mri on same day because they found a fracture in my cancerous T4 vertebrae. God's got this and I'm counting on Him!
Julie, My brain says girl you have no favorites, but my heart says I do. Your sweet Granddaughter has my heart, there is something so special about that child. Cherish her, encourage her, she will do great things. I hope she found everything she needs for school. Mwah, much love to you and yours.
I appreciate that you thrift for your home and not for resale. I love thrifting especially for personal use. BTW I also have the table with the extra storage. Nice to meet you. Your Philly Connection
Hello Julie. I love going thrifting with you. I love the way you interact with us. I used to follow 2 people that showed Dollar Tree finds and they never spoke back to the complements or question the followers had for them. I decided not to continue to follow them. Lovely photo. I love the dress your granddaughter showed on your video. Very pretty. I hope you and the family had a wonderful 4th of July 2023. 🥰🌺🦋
Thank you Julie. I enjoyed this so much. I love finding things that remind me of my Mother also ❤ I love your home ! Thank you for taking me along. It was so fun !
That teared tray is gorgeous I loved the rooster plates and the piggychair. I collect everything farmanimal related As a Marvelfan I loved the mug with spoon I scored a litle clooche and very old buttons this week Happy to find treashures That big artwork is amasing, love the painting and frame I love the patina on those spoons too, grate for decor That s a fishknife, grate idea to use it for butter Love that pathern. Donate your unused spoons/forks/knives to a ckitchenware artist. They make wondrefull jewlery out of it Thank you for sharing X
I really enjoy your channel. I feel like I am right there with you find ing treasures. Thank for being yourself. It's like I have known you for years. Keep sharing your finds with us.
Oh I really like the picture you picked up , I agree with you when you see items that bring back those cherished memories. Have a wonderful weekend Julie x
I love your finds Julie. I love the spoons and love how you decorate. It's so much fun to sew what you did with your finds. And that beautiful dress will look so pretty on the little girl.
Wm. Rogers silverware is going high on eBay. I don’t do eBay but I do see different UA-camrs who evidently use eBay for checking value of their finds. I do know that in its day that brand was wanted by many a bride. Guess those older brides are cleaning out their silverware drawer!🤭. Thanks for taking us along on your thrifting excursion…it’s always fun to see what’s out there in the wild!!!:):):)
Hi Julie..when I find pieces that are old looking my family thinks I am nuts.they just don’t get it. I love that picture. We thrifted today but nothing old but got a great faux leather black jacket in great shape for fifty cents and a leather suede olive jacket for fifty cents…crazy. We got several things but did not find anything old except a magazine holder that is old wood . You find the neatest stuff.❤❤❤❤
I love going thrifting with you. I love the Royal Doulton china that you picked up. I am loaded down with dishes but i love RD china. Our every day dishes are RD. You have a very sweet family. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.😊😊❤❤
Hello Julie inhave discoveres your channel today by the channel Sarah's October home. Ilive in France and we use this knife for eating fish and not for butter, becaus for eating fish you don't need a knife what cut ( sorry for my english and i hope you've understand🥴😂🤔). Have a nice day et gros bisous de France
I just love your videos! I just love thrift. Our goodwill is small, but I have found some great items. Unfortunately, we live 40 mins from the Salvation Army and bigger goodwill. I found you by accident, and im so glad I did. I just searched thrifting, and your video came up. I am addicted to your videos. Lol I have learned so much from you! Thank you so much! God Bless you and your family!
@@ThrilledThrifterI thought it looked like a fish knife too. I think 🤔 the pointed tip is used to poke under bones to lift them up and then they are easier to remove using the knife and fork together.
Brylee is just so sweet...she reminds me of my granddaughter Aralyn. She has her own little private vanity and she loves it for her hair ties, nail polish and jewelry. Every girl needs her own space!❤ And I can soooo relate to specific silverware! 😂 Have a great weekend Julie, God bless your amazing family.
Great job with the picture ! Looks great in its final place. Great haul AND Styling . Love love the spoon display . I’m in need of butter pats -only have one -am having difficult time finding . Have a great weekend Julie …great video as always ! Marilyn D xx
Alexander has been making pens for 70+ years. There are a lot of people who collect Pens and the Cases. Those cases protected their prized pens. They're still in business today, in St. Louis Missouri. That one I'm sure is Vintage. Thanks Julie.
The utensil you used to spread butter truly is a butter knife. Aren't you glad that you actually were using it for the correct purpose all those years? lol Sterling silver comes with master butter knives and smaller butter knives which go on the bread and butter plates. The master stays with the butter dish. It took me quite some time to find the number of place setting knives that I needed in my pattern. I also was fortunate to find a lemon fork which I love.
That little table with the flip up lid is called a dough box. My mom had those, but hers were pristine maple finish. I sold them in the estate sale because stuff on top of the table had to be moved to access the inside storage. Drawers are a much better idea.
That brass-painted plastic hanger would be perfect in just the right situation!---I have a few vintage silverware pieces that I've rescued & polished up, for everyday usage.---I thought the ivy planter location for your print was perfect, but that was until I saw where it ended up...I changed my mind & agreed with you!
It makes me happy about Brylee getting a vanity. I think all girls even us big girls need a vanity. I got an old writing desk and vintage mirror and gave myself one. All girls need a spot to see and say how amazing they are. Whatever beauty looks luke to them. Chloe is 10 and sits for hours at mine. But currently in her shared room there is no room for one just yet. But soon she'll have one. Thats funny about the forks. I just today got 2 packs of 15 so 30 heavy nice forks. Funny when you get excited for forks.
Julie, love the old spoons and how you displayed them. The picture is beautiful. I’m with you on the forks, has to be a certain size, not to big, not to small… just right lol. Brilees’s (hope I spelled that right) was so pretty and she’s a doll. Hope you had a wonderful 4th. 💜💜💜
Hello! I just have to say thank you for your videos, I love them all! I love your idea to take apart the framed artwork! I often find art I love, but don’t like the matting or frame. So now I will look at framed art for just the print that I like and find ways to use it differently!!! I feel so enlightened! Also, when I see your finds styled, I see a future for you in selling; great finds that are styled so beautifully would fly off the shelf for you! Do you see that sometime in your future?
I have tried the old vintage silverware decor I just can’t, my grandkids always be like ewww gramma u need to clean ur spoons 😂 no matter how I try to explain it I’m the gramma with the dirty spoons 😅
I do have a question, the white spot in the middle of the spoon, is that caused by food being in it???? I do like the vintage silverware, I just can't decorate like u can.. Also, I have sent you an email, I'm not sure if you have seen it yet... Thank you Misty
Such a fun thrift haul!🫶🏻
Hi Julie. I only liked that Coca-Cola mug at 3:28. It happens like that sometimes. Pet Piper and Mimi for me and I hope you have a great week!

Thank you 😊 I’ll be donating somewhere. Probably my oldest daughter since her kids always throw away her silverware 🤣

The knife you used as a butter knife is actually a fish knife. My nan had a set of these with the forks.
How in the world do you use that for fish 👀?

Oh how interesting. Thank you 😊
Julie, the knife is in fact called a butter knife. 😊❤😊

Haha mine say that too. I tell them those are just to look at lol.
Julie that is not patina on those spoons it's called tarnish. If you shine them you might see the real design that makes them beautiful.
Oh I like them tarnished looking 😁
I think the brand name of the second fork was Oneida
Thank you 😊
A tray on your bed?
Fish knife🇬🇧

I believe it’s just from the aging of it but I’m no expert. And I will definitely look for your email. Sometimes they end up in my spam folder.
The prices were high there. 😮
Hello, I've gotten a little behind. Apparently, do you guys still have your family channel as well?
Hey, we do 😁
It is a fish knife.
That's a butter knife

It,s a fish knife.
It is a fish knife. Not a butter knife

It looks like a fish knife! 80’s forks, low value, everyday use!
sorry but those spoons are just not my type at all. way yucky. I mostly like many of the items you look at very nice things.
