Julie, your silver water pitcher is amazing! The little bridge by the spout is to hold back ice cubes from falling; since the pitcher is actually for water!
I love the way you yhink out of the box and utilize things other than their intended purpose...the pitcher is beautiful! That part is called an ice lip its to prevent the ice from splashing into the cup.❤
Hello Julie. I love all the Pottery. I was giving a Pottery that I displayed on my dresser to remember the lady who gave it to me. After High School I was a Health Care Aid and one of my clients was her mother. She went on a vacation and brought me back a pottery vase. The organization basket if I saw it in my Thrift stores, I will buy it ASAP. That is one of my favorite areas of stores like Marshalls, HomeGoods, Ross, At Home and Boscov's is the quilt and picture frame sections. Is so relaxing. Great job Julie on the Spice cabinet with the lazy Susan. Love It! Nice items. Today My daughter and I stop at Bath & Body Works to pick up 4 Bar soaps that were on sale from $8.95 to $2.95. She bought a Vanilla Coconut for herself and one Japanese Cherry Blossom for me. She bought two for her Daddy Freshwater Men's Collection Shea Butter and Ocean Shea Butter. He was surprised when she gave it to him in the car. We also bought Wax from Walmart to make candles tomorrow. Her daddy is also going to make it with her. We bought Iced Caramel Macchiato, Pumpkin Cream & Marshmallow the 2 I picked. She picked Island Papaya and Wonderland. They all smell Yummy. Our fun family project for Sunday. The day was beautiful today in PA. 78F. Feels like 78. Mostly Sunny. Day 78F. Night 54. Blessings to you and your lovely family. 🌺💝💖💞🌺
I would have been in trouble if I were the one thrifting this day. My cart would have overflowed with all the goodies. Thank you for taking us along. It's always like I'm thrifting with a friend.
Hi Julie. You have been such a comfort to me. I started watching your program after my husband passed in January 2021. Your calm, comforting music and your sweet personality keep me watching. God bless you and your family. ❤❤❤❤Sharon
My mom loves watching your videos because she's disabled and we can't go thrifting together anymore like we used to. A bug Thank You from us both, for your great content 💖💖💖
Hi Julie, there was a lot I liked this week. I loved the pitcher, the little green box, the charger at 2:00, the blue bowl at 3:05, the candleholder at 6:19, the Coca Cola glass at 8:45 and the quilt at 10:25. I hope everyone is doing well and pet Piper and Mimi for me!
Those china pomanders were very much a 1960s based on antique ones, very much the sort of thing my school friends would get each other as gifts along with bath cubes or tins of talc!
Oh my!!! Your organization skills are phenomenal!!! Loved what you did with the pitcher❤ Always look forward to your videos!!! Peace ✌️ Love ❤️ and Thrifting🛒 Love y’all 🙏❤️🙏❤️
You are really fun to watch! I just like how real and down to earth you are! Your spice cabinet makeover is definitely your win of the video! I am so glad you rescued that beautiful pitcher! And yes, that lip is so it doesn't splatter...have a fabulous weekend!❤
I love the fact that you bought the vintage pitcher. So many times I've left things behind because of the price range and later think to myself that was actually a good or ok price for a vintage piece 😀 😄 🤔...
I so want to go to your thrift stores! But it's a bit too far, I'm jealous! Remember when you were talking about the bamboo steamer, well I have found out a new use for it. It becomes storage for onions, garlic, or potatoes. Isn't that a good use as well as they keep longer. Thought you might like that! Have a wonderful weekend!😊
Your silver pitcher is for iced water. The guard is to prevent ice cubes from falling into a glass and splashing water over the table or your guests. It is Beautiful. I have one and put a glass vase in it and use it for flowers. I just love flowers against silver but I put asprin in the water and that is why I use a glass; afraid the asprin will harm the metal.
I love the dishes with the roses! My house is so cluttered I really don’t know where to start. The pricing never makes good sense at Goodwill. Sometimes they are priced by different people at different times. The pitcher has that spout to keep the ice from falling out when you pour.
Sooo jealous of all of your cabinets.. I have down sized to a single wide mobile home and I have such a hard time purging .. you are such an inspiration,to me.. our tastes are so similar !!
I found an extandable rack too this summer. I m hanging my vintage coockware on it in my kitchen I love vintage scales. I put my P&S shackers in the bowl of them All my crafting/drawing/ knitting supplies is orgenisad with finds from the thriftstore I own a potpourie piggy iso a bunny Beautyfull patina on the pitcher. I woulld call that an ice hold lip. So the ice doesnt jumps into the glass while pooring Grate orgenising. Have a blessed weekend X
Hi Julie. I was excited to see your lazy susan in your cabinet. We had one in our bottom corner pantry cabinet. As kids, my little sister and I loved it cause it was fun to turn however, my Mom thought it was a pain because it didn't have sides and when you turned it the canned goods would sometimes fall off and it was a pain to reach them because they would fall off in the back. I noticed yours has sides so you won't have that problem. The silver pitcher is really pretty. I would have to guess the piece on the front probably helped direct the flow of the coffee or whatever it was filled with to limit spills. It's a beautiful piece. Glad you were able to snag it. Your drawers are so organized and look so nice. I have several if the little accordion peg racks. Those are great and have so many fun uses. I hope it finally starts to cool down here in Texas. I unfortunately live in the DFW area and we are dry as a bone. Need some rain. I hope yall have a great weekend.
The rabbit with the holes is called a pomander. Back in the 60s, round ones were a popular "I didn't know what to get you, so I got you this" gift. We hung them in our closets or put them in lingerie drawers.
Miss Julie, you always give such great ideas. I have such a problem getting rid of stuff. 😂 loved that desk. Great price. Ur spices look fantastic. Say hi to ur family!!! 😊
What a great clean and declutter. Dreary day here in Kingston, Ontario, May have to tackle some storage bins and declutter the contents. Thanks for the motivation.
One cleaning out and organizing too. I picked a magnetic spice rack with bottles and label's and love it on the side of my refrigerator! Very practical. 👍💕
Julie, you really hit the jackpot with this trip to Goodwill. Such useful items. I love it. Hope you and your family have a great weekend! Cookie in Mandeville Louisiana
Hi Julie, the little metal holder that you put books in, I too, do that and I have several of them in different sizes, however I love the small ones the best. But, I have never seen one with the glass insert. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Julie, Thank you so much for the inspiration you gave us through your videos. I would love that scale. I couldn't find one here in our local goodwill 😊❤️❤️❤️
Loved your video and everything you bought. Your Goodwill prices are all over the place. Sometimes our Goodwill is too. I guess it depends on who is pricing. 😊
Love everything you thrifted Julie. I absolutely love pottery and would of had a great time going through all that you came across. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi Julie! My utility drawer is like my junk drawer, one hot mess. I love those drawer caddys you bought, nice and roomy. This was a great thrifting trip. Heaven knows I need to find some time to go myself. You have a great day ❤!
I have to say! I love the way you thrift! I’m not one for spending a whole bunch of money, and I only go for things that I need all my family needs, just like you. And why buy a new when you can buy something inexpensive in good shape at the thrift stores. I just wish we had more in my area but I’m in the upper Midwest just don’t seem to have the same kind of thrift stores and they are much more expensive than some. Let you go to. But I just wanted to say happy Saturday and I’m so glad to get to watch your video.
That picture withe feet on it you were referring to has that little guard piece is there to stop ice from coming out while you pour out water or ice tea.
Julie, let me tell you something about quilts even the one that you’re looking at I will buy a quilt, no matter if it doesn’t have a pattern on the other side what I will do is I will buy that quilt and then I will get a flat sheet that is in the same color or pattern and I will get my seamstress to put the flat sheet on the other side so it all four sides and in the middle so I can have a reversed side of the quilt. I’ve done this for years now she would charge me about $15 but that’s fine because I can keep my quilts for a long long time and I still have some. I haven’t done this in a while because I’ve already accumulated a lot of quilts but I would always do that. she said you’re so different I said yeah.
Julie I loved that bunny table. I have bunnies all on my patio. Not real but wish they were. Now I need to find one where I love...lol Blessings Always
That quilt was to die for. Its costs me minimum €100 to buy fabric and batting for a much less elaborate quilt.Thank you for giving it time to shine.
Every time I watch, as you go down the isles, I keep thinking oh, I want that! Or that would be so cute if…. I so enjoy your videos.
Oh my, the pottery. I love pottery and would have completely failed at resisting. Your water pitcher, what a great find!! Always enjoy your videos.
Julie, your silver water pitcher is amazing! The little bridge by the spout is to hold back ice cubes from falling; since the pitcher is actually for water!
Awesome! Thank you 😊
I would love that pic with the candle flame. I like to put vintage and vintage looking art in my little reading nook
Love the little bunny potpourri. Very unique. I can see putting some real Christmas tree pieces in it and hanging from my fake tree.
That pottery was everything. Love pottery
The thing on the pitcher is to keep the ice from coming out when you pour. Thanks for video
Thank you 😊
It's called an ice lip.
I appreciate how you take time to show us many of the items and don't just race through and only show what you purchased
I love the way you yhink out of the box and utilize things other than their intended purpose...the pitcher is beautiful! That part is called an ice lip its to prevent the ice from splashing into the cup.❤
Thank you ☺️
Like your 3 tier tray and how

Your organization is ahhmazing!!! Girl your draws are straight now 😂😂😂 I also love the color of the peg rack. Take care 💜💜
The silver pitcher is a water pitcher. The piece on the spout area is to stop ice from splashing into a glass and causing a mess.
Thank you 😊
We have a lot of thrifty things in common
So many goodies! I would definitely have had the ceramic measuring cups, the cardinal coffee mug, and the potpourri bunny.

That is an ice lip on the pitcher! Back when ice was scarce. The put the ice and liquid in the pitcher, let it get cold and pour!
