That old girl came up nice! The mirror gaskets reminded of a material called "Gore GR Gasket Sheeting" which is teflon, comes in different thicknesses and is super easy to work with. Might be worth a look to have around the shop!
@@Johnnymidnight the fuel system is computer controlled and does no allow for lets say power adders ,larger injectors which is quite common or turbos etc. in 1989 ford went to mass air flow controlled engine management system . don't get my wrong its a good system just different so when problems arise its a different thought process for repairs
Just can’t bring myself to put the stock hubcaps on, although I do have the full set which will definitely stay with the truck. I left the eyelets just in case I keep it around for a while and put my camper on her 😉
Enjoyed the video! What a great transformation. Those tires and wheels were a good call 👍🏻 I wish they still made vehicles with the vent windows.
Yes!! The vent windows in my 59 GMC are awesome when it’s hot out !
Don't know what you paid for that truck but I bet you could triple your money with the prices of today's prices ! Carry on my friend !
Yes, I probably will flip this one and make a few bucks, but plan to drive it for a bit first 👍🏼
Midnight paint and body and truck remodeling. Nice job!

She is beautiful. Nice Job!!
Great cleanup! Looks like money to me.
Awesome, thanks for the tip, I’ll look that up 👊🏼
It came out awesome 👍
wow, the old girl cleaned up nicely. I aways found that tires and rims make the vehicle, and those look great on it.
It definitely worked out perfectly saving those old tires from my other truck!
Very nice Jon
that truck uses Air density engine controls that is something you need to be aware of if you have problems in the future
What sort of issues would arise?

Gotcha, it runs very well, but was parked for many years, so I expect when I put it on the road all the gremlins will surface 😉
