Can’t tell you how glad am to have stumbled on your awesome channel. I’m pretty sure I know you from somewhere. I knew you were Canadian when your chemin de fer n’était pas complètement massacré. You’re by far the best uke teacher out there.
Another great lesson. You are keeping us on our toes. I am way behind. But I love hearing you play and sing. One of the highlights of my week. Kelly !!!
Thank you SO much for breaking down the techniques and bringing it altogether at the end!! I'll be working through this video over and over for a while 😂✌️
Great lesson - this is just what I need. I can play many many songs, I do open mics. My strumming styles though are limited and hopefully these additional strums will enhance my performances and entertain my audiences even more. I will be checking out more of your videos. Thank you. 😊
Absolutely - that strum/those techniques work the same on banjo uke. Check out the banjo uke playlist and you'll see lots of content like that. Thanks Randy!! Kelly
Thanks for another great tutorial! I will be practicing while watching Netflix 😅 I’ve improved so much practicing this way, as I find I’m more relaxed when my focus is devided .
Kelly, that was an excellent assortment of chocolate box styles today. Pushing the envelope I like that. The flick with the finger was a great fit to the song and one I will be practicing. Quite a few Artists have covered Orange Blossom Special. I have a soft spot for Glen Campbell and the Live Performance with Johnny Cash on his Show is well worth a watch if you have not seen it.
LOTS of good options out there. I've really been enjoying the TK-14 Tenor from Ohana - it's one of their lower end instruments but the sound is great, they look really good and they are priced right! If you're looking for something more upscale I also like the Ohana TK-35G which is all solid wood with a high gloss finish. It sounds fabulous and looks gorgeous! If you're thinking about something a bit different the Pineapple Concert - also all solid wood is a nice mid-priced option. Mahogany with high gloss. I did a video recently where I highlighted that uke.
Learned so much from this Video. Thanks a lot from Germany❤
Glad you enjoyed it!! Kelly

Loving the strumming 😊. The time has come to buy a uke. Any suggestions on what type for beginners. Gonna put my banjo a side for a while.❤
