    Yo kozact I’m growing an Afro I got box braids but my braider couldn’t braid some of the hair bc it was not long enough is this a bad thing cause my other hair is so much longer

    • @kozact
      @kozact  7 місяців тому +1

      I recommend trying to prioritize stimulating and growing the shorter area, and once that shorter area gets long enough, start braiding it down into cornrows,
      Or another option is to get your hair, professionally trimmed to be even with the rest of your hair.
      Different portions of your head can produce longer hair , it just shouldn’t be dramatically longer . Maybe a 2 , 2.5 maybe even 3 inch difference

    Great video bro I’ve a question. What should I do if my hair is suffering from breakage ? My hair was flourishing well and growing in an Afro. I started picking my hair and now some spots of my hair lost hair. I don’t want to cut my hair but what can I do to get my hair to grow full and healthy in the spots I lost hair ? Thanks for the advice

    • @stanleygodwin8355
      @stanleygodwin8355 7 місяців тому +1

      Breakage is inevitable especially for our type 4 coily hair but it can be controlled if you can stop touching your hair at all times especially picking it out when it’s dry and you can invest in DIY herbal tea especially for your spots.
      In conclusion, Consistency is the Key🥂

    • @richieowusu2
      @richieowusu2 7 місяців тому

      @@stanleygodwin8355 I appreciate the advice that’s my problem like when I sleep and wake up and my hair is flat I would just pick and now I’m here. I won’t give up just going to tend to the spots more and be consistent. Also where can I purchase the DIY herbal tea you recommended ?

    • @stanleygodwin8355
      @stanleygodwin8355 7 місяців тому

      You can make the herbal tea with Ayurvedic herbs like rosemary, cloves, hibiscus, horsetail, nettle leaves e.t.c
      To prepare herbal hair tea, you'll typically steep the chosen herbs(not all) in hot water for a certain period, allowing the beneficial compounds to infuse into the water. Once cooled, the infused liquid can be used as a hair rinse after shampooing or even as a leave-in treatment when moisturizing.
      NB: Always massage ur scalp after application for effective result🥂
