I'm currently reading all the volumes I love your series you make me understand all the small things. this would be such a nice world for a dnd campaign.
Ainz has done some screwed stuff, but one thing he gets right is that, for a better future, he gives all races a chance to thrive where previous players only seemed willing to prop up humans, or at least just left them alone while slaughtering everything non-human. Though there is a certain logic to putting one's own kind first and its why I find people's outrage that Ainz isn't putting humanity first amusing. One side claims he's undead now, another side claims he was once human and should support them. But I see no reason Ainz should give humans special treatment. Humans who do terrible things to eachother aren't called race traitors, so being undead shouldn't hold Ainz to an impeccable standard of loyalty even humanity itself cannot uphold. I do however think he could be more responsible and thoughtful with how he wields his power. Amusing as his bullshitting his way through things is, its also a bit vexing when he should be trying to educate himself and learn how to fill his role, but he only researches how to be a likable boss and how to look kingly, which while nice isn't very pragmatic. He has a library full of more useful old books on politics, war, strategy and probably social engineering he could be studying to help him keep pace with Albedo and Demiurge. Sooner or alter they're going to call him out or force him into a corner that'll expose his true hopeless self and they'll be really let down, they'd never betray hi, but they'd never take him seriously, he'd just become the cherrished idiot father. He could with time become what he pretends to be, give it 10,000 years and he may just become Ainz Ooal Gown and evolve beyond his current self to rule his followers properly. It won't happen though because his bumbling incompetence is a large part of what makes this series enjoyable. Its just he's so oblivious to so much that is obvious, things even the socially inept and situationally unaware would catch.
Ainz is actually purposely avoiding thinking about certain items. Like with the human bones used to make him a chair and Demiurge claimed they were ‘Chimera Sheep’ which later the humans of the Happy Farm got called ‘Abelion Sheep’ (which seems to me to be another joke since it seems similar to calling them ‘Rebellious Sheep’) and Ainz despite realizing it was human bones decided to turn a blind eye to it because Demiurge was made by Ulbert and so this side of him is because of his dear friend. Basically Ainz turned a full on blind eye to it and continues to refer to those Demiurge has as ‘Sheep’ instead of ‘Human’ because calling them ‘Human’ might bring him to confront Demiurge on it which he wants to avoid as Demiurge is Ulbert’s Son in Ainz’s eyes. Another is that he is aware of Albedo acting out and that she refers to the others of the ‘Supreme Beings’ as ‘those who abandoned us’ showing she does hold things against them and yet instead of confronting her on any of her behaviors that he can’t agree with, he can’t bring himself to do it. The first reason is that she is Tabula’s Daughter and the second being that he feels guilty for having edited her, though it’s not like he accounted for them coming to life in another world. In the light novels, he is quite naive, he can be oblivious and a bit too trusting, but he actually is also extremely intelligent despite his lack of confidence in himself though his intelligence shines through quite a bit more when your looking for them. It’s just he lacks the confidence and he is busy trying to meet the expectations of Albedo, Demiurge and all of the others from his Friends to the point that in the LN, he told Pandora’s Actor that he can call Ainz ‘Dad’ or ‘Father’ but in return, if there’s danger to the other NPCs, Pandora’s Actor has to become the Sacrifice so Ainz can get the others to safety. Pandora does agree to this, though I find this horrible, but Ainz had good reason for it. Pandora’s Actor is a lv 100 Doppelganger, he could easily buy enough time for Ainz to get the other NPCs away to safety so they can build a plan... And also about the books, he does indeed read such books and also uses divination magic to see how other Rulers handle different situations while also seeing how they respond to their own Vassals. Ainz’s obliviosness on certain matters is because he himself is avoiding thinking too deeply about it, though we do know he is aware the ‘Abelion Sheep’ are Humans as he asked Demiurge about the humans he took in the Kingdom’s Capital asking if he ensured those he took were random, of both genders and all ages from young to old and Demiurge confirmed this and Ainz told him to give them mercifully quick deaths, but Ainz didn’t say not to ressurect them repeatedly, as he’s not aware the Humans are being reused by healing and reviving, he is just aware the Abelion Sheep of Demiurge’s Happy Farm are Human.

It is true, Ainz might change for the worse later on. But he is not the first undead Overlord to rule a country in the new world. (SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!! DO NOT READ BEYOND THIS PART IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE LN). Surshana was one of the six players that saved humanity and founded Slane Theocracy. And since he was an undead, he outlived the other players and ruled the nation peacefully for 200 years. Until 8 new players, known as the eight greed kings came. Surshana died as he defended his nation. So at least we know that his race(Overlords) do not hate the living and that it is a possibility for Ainz to actually create a paradise of a nation
Nice video. Another thing that could have been mentioned is the nobility-like structure at the top. At the very top there is the sorcerer king, absolute ruler of the nation; if the supreme beings were around they would fill a role analogue to royal family. Below there are the floor guardians, the inner circle. They are like high ranking nobles. After them, at different levels of importance, there are all the custom NPCs. Since they technically are the descendants of past nobles (the supreme beings), they can be considered lesser nobles. There then are the vassals/mercenaries/spawn... The meritocracy starts from here, even though new worlders would probably fall below them even with equal levels of power/skill since their loyalty wouldn't be guaranteed by magic. You could say there are 3 layers of society. The first is inherited from birth, the second exist to serve the first and the third could technically rise to the second but are the bottom of the barrel. Considering the extreme levels of monitoring carried out by the sorcerer kingdom's government it resembles a lot 1984; though with far higher standards so long as Ainz maintains his humanity.
Fun fact apparently the guardians were allowed to craft a mythology for Ainz. They never did implement it because no one could agree on a single mythology. Neia seems to have created a cult worship around Ainz.
Imagine the patriotism that would be born from Sorcerer kingdom citizens and their glorious leader. No way Demiurge and Albedo wouldn't let their supreme beings awesome achievements go in silence, I imagine all of his victories, all of his deals, all of his conquering would be told to the people, and he would become 'Our Guy' to the people, ol papa bones. Just look at how much he is worshiped by people already. His citizens would all zealously worship him just like Demiurge. Imagine him walking down the street in a few generations, people dropping to their knees, crying in jubilation to have been visited by their glorious and supreme leader, passing out from pure joy.

Your videos are so great quality wise you definately deserve more subs. I would reccomend that you add some music to your videos or play animations in certain scenes to make them better but thats just my opinion.
I see the possibility of why the Undead would make for an effective work force. Unbribable and efficient. The kind of politics I here IRL people expect when they elect someone. I am excited to see the Sorcerer Kingdom when it will be animated.

why is the world not a dictatorial kratocracy? Ains has given some task to demiurge and Albedo but he still has the last word on everything. Should this not be considered a dictatorship? for example kim jong un is also not deciding everything himself but he is still considered a dictator
It is an Autocracy, a system of state where all the power is concentrated in the hand of one person (Ainz) but dictatorship while fitting is far to broad of a term to accurately describe the sorcerer kingdom.

Kinda reminds me of the Brits and industrial revolution. We where a ok with slavery like any other great power at the time until we no longer had any major economic incentive to do so. When industrialization came it changed the game a bit. Over time it allowed we Brits the ability to end such practices without bankrupting ourselves and allowed us to force it on the rest of the world. Americans often forget this as we often weren't very direct about it but yeah by the time the american civil war was going on the americas had to breed their own slaves, they weren't getting any past the royal navy. Another thing it reminds me of is the original invention of the steam engine. The Roman's did it. But it was crude and inefficient compared to slave labour so it was a novelty that didn't catch on and died in the cradle.

Kinda reminds me of the Brits and industrial revolution.
We where a ok with slavery like any other great power at the time until we no longer had any major economic incentive to do so. When industrialization came it changed the game a bit. Over time it allowed we Brits the ability to end such practices without bankrupting ourselves and allowed us to force it on the rest of the world. Americans often forget this as we often weren't very direct about it but yeah by the time the american civil war was going on the americas had to breed their own slaves, they weren't getting any past the royal navy.
Another thing it reminds me of is the original invention of the steam engine. The Roman's did it. But it was crude and inefficient compared to slave labour so it was a novelty that didn't catch on and died in the cradle.
