I love mines. Have had it for 6 months 👏🏼I just have one question, I want black rims but wanna keep the stock tires if possible. What’s the biggest size rims that fit on the stock wheels ?

No they’re pretty comparable, the GT line is more sporty and the EX is more luxury.

I just installed K&N intake + burger BOV and the pedal tuner aswell and I get the check engine light, Did that happen to you anytime ? Or what do u think that I did wrong
No not at all normal. Did you unplug the battery when you did the install? Is the car running ok?

Nothing, mine wasn’t gloss black. Didn’t know they had ones with gloss black ha ha

I just passed my one year too. I love this car and it is actually my first car. I love the look of it I think it is easy TOP5 best looking sedans under 100k and keep in mind that's a 30-40k car.
Definitely a value car. Cars in this segment are filled with CVTs but the K5 checks all the boxes from performance to looks.

@@iuseturnsignals no I’m keeping the exhaust stock on this one. I know a lot of guys like the NGT mid pipe. It shouldn’t have any affect on warranty either
My 2021 K5 GT LINE with premium package just turned 30.000 miles, which of course is still low mileage, has been absolutely flawless. No issues whatsoever. Bought it im may of 21..Paid msrp, and Got the 0.0 intrest rate promo they were offering. My 2017 Hyundai Elantra I bought new, just turned 100.000 miles last month, fully loaded, 0 repairs, 0 issues. I have kept it .I live in Southern California, so the cars don't have to contend with harsh winters..Use it mostly for my 80 mile round trips to work, helps keep the mileage down on the new car. As of now, I intend to keep the K5 Indefinitely. Had 2 previous kias, a 2005 spectra, and a 2007..all the cars were very good, all had over 100.000 miles when traded, and none ever required any warranty work. I think as long as you keep up the maintenance, its will be good for a very very, long time.
Just passed my one year anniversary with my sapphire blue gt line and it’s been an awesome car for me. Just enough power and lots of features that make it feel more expensive than it is.
i have a 2023 GT Line AWD, black with red seats and all the futures! completely love the car and my mods hahaha

This is one of the few mid-size cars that offer AWD and it's not that much more than the FWD. It's still a great buy from the Korean manufacture.

Hey man, I've been following your videos on the K5 from the very start. I had my Sapphire Blue K5 for about 9 months and I had a few personalizations/mods done on it (some I found through your videos). I somewhat surprisingly decided to trade it in a few weeks ago for a 2017 Explorer Sport (felt a little crazy trading in a 2023 for a 2017). I have a one year old daughter and now have a German Shepherd and it felt like the K5 was just a little small and I had always wanted an Explorer as well. I REALLY wish the GT had AWD and I probably would have kept it, becasue even my Explorer has some features that the GT-Line couldn't get (ventilated seats, auto-dimming driver's-side mirror, auto-fold side mirrors, parking sensors on front/rear, and a few others.) Even though I don't have the K5 anymore I'm still going to keep watching your videos, you have some great and unique ideas and I learned a lot from your install videos. Whenever you decide to switch back over to a truck or SUV, see if you can't find an Explorer Sport (365 hp V6) or ST (400 hp V6) and then I can copy some of your mods on it too.
I’d love an explorer ST in the future, they’re so awesome. The explorers are really nice. Congrats on the trade man.

Always a big fan of your 🔵 GT line got a problem with my GT line the back speakers are working but not like the front I tried to adjust them but no dice and the black trim on the driver's side is rubbing off that's not good don't get me wrong I love my GT line 🐺 grey keep up the amazing work 💯
@@davidroberts4868 thanks for the comment. The back speakers get way less power than the fronts for some reason. Only fix for that would be getting an amp. That sucks about the trim though man

Just bought this 2024 gt line beast last week and I'm loving it so far. absolutely flawless. the only problem I had was the infotainment system where when I reverse the car, the screen becomes split and this occurred literally today as I'm typing this comment. originally it was never split but was wondering if you had the same problem and how to fix it.

Congrats on 1 year. The car definitely breaks necks. I agree with most of the quirks you have (lackluster power, speakers, etc) but there are fixes for those.
I've had my 21' K5 for about 18 months now (Stone wolf grey with the red guts aka EVERYONE HAS THIS COLOR 🙄). If I would do it over again though, I would have got a Stinger GT2. I'm Dodge/Ram guy but I'm honestly sick of seeing Chargers everywhere you go. To me they are the new Mustangs as far as bad reputation.
Also just got the DJI Mini 3 pro. Awesome drone but returning it to get the Air 3.
