HOW TO: Refill the String on a Stihl FSA 57 Trimmer

Here is a quick tutorial on how to reload the sting on a Stihl FSA 57 Battery Operated String Trimmer and how to replace the head if you take if off. It's all very easy and can be done in no time at all!

One thing to add... removing the white plastic band altogether, I found helps in the operation of the trimmer, and makes it easier to add line when needed

What happens when the line is 99% used and you want to reload with new. Yours was empty so it was easy to insert new line.

@richardc6932 you have to have it empty to reload. so you have to use all the string or if you have a little left in you'll have pop off the white collar and take the leftover out.
