Just came across your channel and have to say, I really like your slogan. "The truth doesn't have to be expensive".
So true. Most of my bibles (different translations for study) are cheap paperback bibles. With a hardcover and leather look being exceptions.
Most of them bought second hand. HPB has a really nice religion section with an array of bibles. That's another way to buy good bibles on the cheap. Spec when you're not looking to actually collect bibles but use them for study.
Helpful tip for anyone looking to conserve a paperback bible, lamenate the cover 👍 Had my paperback AMP for years and it's still in good shape.
Good job helping people find the word without emptying their pockets. There's so much focus on premium bibles, it's nice to see a channel like this. God doesn't care what your bible looks like, what matters is the effort you put into reading it. 🕊️🐑
Almost forgot, a good value bible is the NIV giant print compact. Can be bought new for around 15-20 bucks. It's essentially a thin cardboard cover that has a leather like texture but it's a sewn bible and the print is great for older eyes.
Future video ideas, New Testaments can be picked up at your local dollar store. For only a few bucks.

And it kinda feels sad that Cambridge bibles are not that accessible to us here in Philippines. But in any case, I’m looking forward to the day they are easily purchased here! 😁

I like the layout, but the font is a bit too small. I have very good vision, but as I get older that will not always be the case and I buy Bibles for keeps. I don't go below 10 point font, 10 to 12 point font is the sweet spot for me, 11 is the sweet spot. I also find myself have a preference for Bibles without references as I don't actually use them. I love and use the footnotes, but not the references. My favourite Bibles are the ESV Large Print Wide Margin and Preaching Bible, both have footnotes but no references and neither have a concordance which I wish both did as I use concordances. I have an ESV Large Print Thinline Reference Bible but at least the references are tucked into the bottom corner out of the way of the text.
