You should drive a vintage works yz10 super dogfighter Iv got my original from 93 (works model) Still now the racing model I use that’s highly modified to run with current cars still is competitive
My YZ2 CAL3 was probably the smoothest build I have ever done, and has been one of the best driving cars I have had. I went from passing fan to huge fanboy pretty quick. Then they got rid of their US team and the whole off-road program seems to be in limbo.
I have noticed where the shocks screw into the A arms is where ive broke 3 fronts. "and my driving" I'm getting some rpms for the 7.2 and making it work. believe it or not the pin size on yokomo is 1mm bigger than associated. "2wd at least" not sure about 4.
Great review, yokomo have had alot of love here in australia over the past 8 or 9 years, the bmax 4 iii was the go to 4wd around 2012 to 14, most of the pros here went from yoko to sworkz to ae to xray then back to ae at present, when chasing podiums at the nationals. The yoko is very similar to the ae but with arguably slightly worse durability and parts availability (limited stores). The front arms were a very common breakage on the yz4 sf1
Give the mezzo rear/wide stagger rib front combo a try, both in yellow. That's what my ZX7 likes, the cactus fusion front is a little too twitchy for my liking. I don't like running any pins in the front, they all make the car to twitchy
Do you get all the different brands mainly for content, or did you just want to try them? I’ve stuck with one brand so I can have interchangeable parts

Great video! Extremely informative, and very well done.

Sidebar conversation, you going to SNAP at Apex in TN?
@@Kamisori That's sort of up in the air. Its more likely I'll be at rc3 in Alabama cause it's closer
Is Ryan Mayfield still driving for Yokomo?
@@carlomac yeah, pretty sure he is. I know they got rid of Matt Gonzalez.
Great video! Nice and chilled demeanour!

agreed. I had the bmax and towards the end the motor mount was horrible. Would eventually move and ud munch spurs... now just bashing with a 16/17 xb4
Yokomo and associated seem to be the goto cars in australia.
