I hate the smell of cooked/fried/smokey food in the house that just lingers. I've done lemons, oranges, vanilla, and cinnamon and just let it boil for about a half hour---house smells so warm and yummy! It's my go to instead of air freshener that doesn't really work to get rid of the lingering odors.
@@madhavichaturvedi6182 If I turn the pan off and leave for an hour or two, when I come back home, I can still smell the fragrance. It's not overwhelming, but smells so nice. It kind of gives that cuddle up with a book under a cozy blanket by the fireplace type of feel 😊

I just tried this with lemon, vanilla essence (imitation, I think this might have been the issue but this alone smells fine to me) and cinnamon stick. My house instantly smelled like a wet animal. Regret 😂. I’m not sure what it is. I’ll try again with real vanilla extract
Vanilla is to expensive for me to try that but I bet it would smell amazing but a candle that Vanilla will make your house smell amazing too and way cheaper

Lemon/oranges or apple slices, 6/8 whole cloves, a few cinnamon sticks & half litter of water…boil all together and whallaaaa 👌🏻

I use lemon essential oil more potent especially against pets odors 🎉
Add oranges also Vanilla and citrus is really great

I have candles but this is the best method, especially after cooking certain dishes. Fish, etc. the lemon makes it smell fresh.
Use imitation vanilla for this purpose only
