I LOVE bounce dryer sheets as well. FAVORITE dryer sheets by far!!! I will put on on the front of my window air conditioner and I put them on the backs of my fans
I must say, you’ve truly help me. My girlfriend is moving in with me tomorrow and I’m a very clean person, but I wanted to find ways to make my house smell fresher and you solved that. Thank you so much.
Putting a fabric sheet or pellets into your vacuum canister makes a huge difference when you vacuum the house - from a professional House Cleaner! 🥰😁♥️
@@laylacooke1175 I also thought if you want to go a more natural way you could always take all purpose spray, like Mrs Meyers and spray it on a paper towel pretty heavily and stick it into your canister as well! Because you're really just circulating the air from your vacuum and that will make the room smell really nice too and get into your carpet etc
Another tip for trash cans is.... I take a used dryer sheet and put some essential oil on it and then rub the inside of my trash can with it. I then leave the dryer sheet at the bottom of the can. Every time we open the trash you get the essential oil scent.
If you take a tissue and pour some essential oils on it and put it in garbage bin and then put the bag it'll make your bin smelling fresh and you won't need any special garbage bag either.😉😉✌️
I was going to suggest that too! I put peppermint or lemon essential oils on a paper towel and put it in the bottom of the garbage can. Also keeps the bottom clean if something leaks.
Yes! I do that also. Another idea is to take bars of soap that have gotten small and you're ready to replace it, just throw the old remnant into the garbage can before you put the bag inside...I also place used essential oil bottles in the garbage can before I put the bag inside...The same can be done with your laundry basket...Just throw the old soap remnants or the used essential oil bottles in the bottom of the laundry basket and it helps keep your dirty clothes area smelling nicely until you're ready to wash clothes.
My go to is washing all my drapes using Gain detergent and Downy Rose and Amber fabric softener. Then I hang them back on the rod wet and let them dry there. Not putting them in the dryer prolongs the time that they smell amazing and makes that whole level of the house smell SO good!
@@person-ey2ct no mildew I do this too, spring and summer just open your windows then in the winter the heater helps dry them and they dry in less than a day regardless no mildew ever
Diluting fabric softener with water and spraying onto radiators and wiping down is really good in winter for when you have the heating on - as they warm up the smell drifts round your home. Definitely want to get a oil diffuser and see if they have any sandalwood oils as that’s my fave kinda smells x
Great video. Thank you. Sharing my smell good tips and tricks. I put drops of essential oil on the filter of my cordless vac. as well as the bag of my Kirby. Besides wiping down the door and rim of my front load washer, I spray it with OdorBan. I also spray it on my sheets when I make the bed as well as my pet bed. Spraying it on curtains and floor mats is another good way to use it. People do a lot with dryer sheets, however, I find them to be very strong. I make my own room spray as well as after shower spray. I can spray the room spray on my fabric furniture in addition to/instead of the OdorBan. I also put a few drops of vanilla extract on the bottom of my oven and set it to warm and it makes the entire house smell yummy. Crockpot (I have a small one just for this purposed) filled with some water, lemon and orange peel, cinnamon sticks, vanilla, and clove - set on low will give you hours of wonderful scent. My favorite summer one is lemon peel with rosemary and vanilla.
@@susans3411 but does the smell of the vinegar go away during washing ? I have read about vinegar instead of fabric softener so often but I've always been afraid that the vinegar smell stays in the clothes.

I don't have any breathing issues usually, but found that a diffuser and oils gave me a persistent cough until I stopped using it. I was annoyed as I loved using it
I add a scoop of baking soda to every load of laundry! Keeps towels from smelling musty. Sam’s has the big bags of it in the baking section. Only $7 a bag and last forever!

The toilet brush holder tip was a great idea that I will incorporate RIGHT NOW!!!!!😀 I just ordered a diffuser Thank you for sharing these great tips. 💕
I bought a diffuser and put essential oil in that. I have one in each side of my condo- the bedroom and the living room. I don't like smelling dog when I walk in the door but lavender, oh yes!
I had the whole summer to focus on deep cleaning, but I decided to focus on relax, work, and relax. Now, two days before going back to college, I’m deciding to follow all those tips to make sure that my home will be fresh and clean😂
It's so great to come across your video...I too love a fresh and clean home...I can tolerate food smells for just a few hours, but then I am eager to remove those food odors from my home. I do many tricks as you mentioned, especially with the essential oils. Another idea is to take bars of soap that have gotten small and you're ready to replace them, just throw the old remnant into the garbage can before you put the bag inside...I also place used essential oil bottles in the garbage can before I put the bag inside...The same can be done with your laundry basket...Just throw the old soap remnants or the used essential oil bottles in the bottom of the laundry basket and it helps keep your dirty clothes area smelling nicely until you're ready to wash clothes. I've done similarly with my sock and pantyhose drawers. Ladies, especially, remove our pantyhose for the day, and they're perfectly fine to wear again another day, but maybe there's a little smell from the feet areas, so throw a freshly finished bottle of an essential oil or a soap bar remnant into the drawers. I also spray my fabrics with room fragrances or even my own perfume. Fabrics hold onto the fragrances longer than just spraying into the air. Then when air blows upon those fabrics, a wonderful fragrance is released.
For the trash can I always spray lysol in when I take out the trash and let it dry before I put another bag in. I cook a lot so I'm always throwing away meat packaging or chicken scraps that can develop harmful bacteria. This way, it disinfects plus makes it smell actually clean, not just masking it.
I use Lemon and Eucalyptus essential oils in my diffuser, so yummy. Just a few drops of each. I add vinegar into my laundry, fabric softener sets off my eczema so I don't use it on my skin / clothing. It also helps keep the machine cleaner too.
Just wanted to give a heads up on dryer sheets. They have chemicals that react with the air to create formaldehyde, a carcinogen (cancer causer). So when we use these in the dryer this cancer causing agent is released into the air and also carried all day long right next to our skin in the clothes we wear that were dried with a dryer sheet and also on the furniture we scented with these dryer sheets. Pine Sol contains chemicals that cause hormone disruption, pregnancy complications, birth defects, and cancer. I loved the hidden toilet paper roll scent! Let's fill our homes with scents that are healthy for us because breathing these chemicals all day is not a good smelling home.
My favorite fragrances are bergamot and blood orange. Also like tropical scents, but nothing too sweet or flowery. As for that musty smell that eminates from the washing machine, I find that leaving the door open, whether a top or front loader, allows the interior to dry out, thus eliminating the source of that musty, sour smell. You only need to leave it open for a few hours. You'll spend far less money on those washing machine cleaners. Love that oil diffuser. Going to get one. Thanks!
Very nice list. I would say doing all of these every day is probably on the OCD side, but doing some daily and some weekly is a good idea. Thanks for the video!
When you fry or cook fish( especially salmon or sardine) just light a candle in the kitchen. It will mask the fishy odour that will otherwise linger in the house for hours..
If you want to neutralize the smell instead of masking it, put out a bowl of white vinegar near or on the stove. As the vinegar gently warms up, the fishy smell will disappear.
Thank you for this video. Unfortunately my family got terrible allergies from diffusing essential oils. It felt like the air was thick. I just toss a bit of chopped up lemon in the garbage disposal and scrub with dishsoap and rinse with hot water straight from the tap to maintain a clean sink. And I open the windows first thing in the a.m and before bed to freshen up the house.
Wow those are some great ideas💡 Everytime I watch your video, I feel you gave away all tips and tricks in this video and you'll have nothing to share in a next video, and then you do!! Great job Kristen 👍👍 Since the time I got my new house, I've been glued to you channel 😀
I was impressed by how many of these I do. I love the fresh scent Downey booster beads (just a touch) in the wash now and then and also my dyson air cleaner especially in winter months which is like fresh air. I love the humidifiers with little little coloured shows too. Silicone toilet brushes are great. They are so easy to clean with boiling water.
Great tips and they're super easy to implement in my home cleaning routine. You can also add some essential oils to a cotton ball and toss it in the trash can before putting a new bag in. I personally like using the Peppermint oil.
I love Method cleaning products! They really smell amazing! 🥰 Unfortunatelly I don't have a dryer so I have to hang dry my clothes. It's kinda drag but there's a plus side as well. Hang drying clothes makes your bathroom smell really good for a long time, since the clothes give that fresh scent from your laundry products to the air as they dry. 😁
Hey girl I do not own a dryer either honestly dont have the space. I don't mind though bc living in south Texas its always sunny/hot so it line dry fasts. During winter I head to my laundromat which is 4 mins away😎
Another great video. Thank you! I completely forgot that I bought diffuser a couple years ago to hopefully help my husband stop snoring. When it didn't work, I forgot about it. I'm going to get that thing going in our new home for sure! I also love the dryer sheets idea. I use essential oils a lot too. One thing I do is make a spray using distilled water and essential oils that I spray in the air and on curtains or throw blankets.
Wow!I do the same with the dry sheets to my furniture. I wash my sink with baking soda lemon and vinegar. I don't use oil infusions but I add fresh peel from the citrus fruits .IN my carbage can, I add cinnamon sticks.Dew allergies, I use all natural resources for a healthier lifestyle.
Glynis Marthinussen Hi ! ☺️ As a nurse, i dont think using essential oils (wich are really strong and powerfull) near youre genital part is a good idea.... you can burn your vaginal mucosa or even have an allergic reaction. If you still want to do it, just be carreful and make sure to use a small amount of essential oils and also dont put oils on direclty on the paper ( Sorry for my english, i’m french 😅 ) Have a Nice day ! ☀️
Great tips! Love your containers for your laundry essentials. Now I have a tip for you. Throw away that toilet brush and replace it with a Clorox Toilet Wand with the disposable brush head. It works great, and no more stinky toilet brush in the bathroom! 😊
I use an essential oil warmer because i have a pet ,,I use in it cedarwood ,,rose ,,white tea ,,musk ,,jasmin ,,it smells so nice so many of my friends love the smell

I believe that flower is a zinnia. They come in so many sizes and shapes, it’s amazing. Mixed Zinnia seeds are so awesome to spread around your garden or just have a spot with lots of them. They bloom all summer and fall, depending on your location. Perfect cut flowers.
A dab of oil on the back of your radiator is a great trick. I love almond oil with a little vanilla added. Or put those Bounce sheets behind the radiator too.
I don't have a defuser.. but I am definitely getting me one because I believe it's better than burning candles..I love those tricks and hacks so thank you for sharing this.
I make tea with cinnamon ,cloves or cardamom really gives a beautiful scent to the kitchen releases tension and also they have many health benefits...if u don't want to make a tea with them...you can boil these spices on the stove top...much safer option for those owns pets🤗
I love tilex for my bathroom, I know you dont like harsh chemicals but my restroom , bathroom and kitchen are really nice clean with it specially with does orange lines that it form love it, the drier sheet is something I will use thou is a great idea and I have small pets, maybe will pick.up hair that I cant see or left behind with the vacuum
Hi Kristine, You have great ideas, for every room throughout the houses. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. Best wishes a long to e fan Pina.❤❤❤❤
These are such cool ideas! I love the use of essential oils because I am sensitive to a lot of scents. I have also heard of these scent sticks and they work pretty well! Cannot wait until I have a house to use these hacks on.
I just subscribed to your channel and I am glad I did. You have so much cleaning ideas which I find interesting. I even wrote down the essential oils for my diffuser. I have to buy the oils. I like your idea of glass jars to put tide pods, fabric sheets etc. Great idea. Your video is so helpful. Thanks for all your ideas and household tips! 😊🍁🇨🇦👍
If you have a dog/cat then please do your own research before using essential oils. Their livers lack an enzyme that filters the oils so they build up in the bloodstream causing toxicity which can damage their organs and even be fatal. I wouldn't only consult a vet because I had a vet tell me that all essential oils are safe for my cats so I got a second opinion (and did tons of research) and it turns out a majority of oils are not safe. Also, be careful with fresh flowers especially around Easter when the lillies are popular. Make sure all flowers/plants are safe for animals before bringing them into your home.
I love watching your videos! So many great tips, but simple ones too! I can watch this one over and over! I just put in my new order for more EOs...maybe you could do a video just on essential oils and good combos what various tasks....I just discovered that I LOVE to put frankincense and sandalwood in my diffuser - my condo smells like a Caribbean vacay hotel!💖. Thank you for all your videos!!!
I just found your channel and love it! I love my essential oils. When working (I work from home) I use peppermint and lemon combined at my desk. And of course when ready to go to sleep, I use lavender.
In the winter to get the stainless out of the house spray the furnace filter with a essential oil/water mixture. I also add tea tree oil to the mix. While it runs heating the whole house it will freshen up the whole house! Plus tea tree helps clarify the air!
Wow very good ideas. To keep the house smelling fresh& clean . I use fabric sheets in vases & under my pillow and chairs sofas .i have a some times stinky HUSBAND & a stinky 13 year old dog .☺ so any thing helps .gr8 video thankyou 💚
Thank u I leave dryer sheets in the bottom of my trash can, under my fitted sheets, in my pillow cases, under my couch covers (which all unzip), I use waterproof pillows so that I can wipe them clean with a scented cleaner whenever I wash my bedding/throw pillows, I put Febreze Small Spaces cartridges in my kitchen, bathroom, & bedrooms. I also have an automatic air freshener sprayer on a timer in the livingroom, I spray my curtains/linens with Febreze spray, I have a wax melt pot, wax pot wall plug ins, & candles in every room. -Scents I use are Lavender Pine Sol, Cherry Blossom or Georgia Peach Bath & Body Works 3 wick candles, Glade Sky & Sea Salt or Citrus & Shine air freshner, Better Homes & Gardens Paradise Punch or Coast to Coast wax melts, & Gain Moonlight Breeze scent(in everything I can find it in from dryer sheets to freshners & cleaners).
Dryer sheets in bed linens a real killer for people with asthma. Dryer sheets can be toxic. Put under the hood if a car left for a ling time will keep mice away. Distributed in the garage will keep mice away. Imagine how to ic they are.
I use about five to eight drops of organic lavender essential oil but to a load in the washing cycle. This maintains fresh the clothes and also the washer.
If you have any more hacks to make your house smell good... share them with us all below 💐👇🏼💗

The toilet paper roll tip is great! 👌🏻
I love watching your videos. Very professional House Cleaner.
Great tips and they're super easy to implement in my home cleaning routine.
You can also add some essential oils to a cotton ball and toss it in the trash can before putting a new bag in. I personally like using the Peppermint oil.
I do this. It is such a game changer
This was really useful. Esp. cleaning the sink and using Bounce to wipe the furniture. Thank you.
Love the essential oil in the toilet paper roll and the what a great idea for the toilet cleaning brush...
Wow! Never heard of some of these products! Thank you!!!
Love it! Method pink grapefruit is my fav! Great video!
That’s a super awesome trick on the inside of the toilet paper 🧻 wow
yes!! genius!!
Chloé Bsc it’s not on the paper 🧻 itself but in the inside of the roll which doesn’t touch the paper.
This style of video is 1 of my favs.. I’m enjoying my subscription
Great tips! Love your containers for your laundry essentials. Now I have a tip for you. Throw away that toilet brush and replace it with a Clorox Toilet Wand with the disposable brush head. It works great, and no more stinky toilet brush in the bathroom! 😊
Robin Z. "OKUUUUUR!"👌😎
I use an essential oil warmer because i have a pet ,,I use in it cedarwood ,,rose ,,white tea ,,musk ,,jasmin ,,it smells so nice so many of my friends love the smell
You can also put a dryer sheet inside the cushion covers.
Thank you kindly 🙏
I have watched your channel a few times, but never really got into it, and it has nothing to do with you but me, however, you’ve earned my subscription today. Thanks again😊
I believe that flower is a zinnia. They come in so many sizes and shapes, it’s amazing. Mixed Zinnia seeds are so awesome to spread around your garden or just have a spot with lots of them. They bloom all summer and fall, depending on your location. Perfect cut flowers.
Amazing, thank you 😊
I simmer star anisse, cinnamon, orange peels, cloves and water. It makes the house smell great!
Sliced lemons and vanilla extract has my home smelling like I baked goods.
Thank you, so simple yet so eye opening.
Thanks,I didn’t know about putting oils in my wool balls....great ideas!
Great suggestions. 😊🌷🦋I’m going to try the Method All Purpose Cleaner in Pink Grapefruit. I like the smell of Pink Grapefruit.
I make tea with cinnamon ,cloves or cardamom really gives a beautiful scent to the kitchen releases tension and also they have many health benefits...if u don't want to make a tea with them...you can boil these spices on the stove top...much safer option for those owns pets🤗
Nice! Plants purify the air as well.
I love the peppermint oil in my diffuser. This is the only scent that lingers even after I turn it off.
Thank you for sharing products & ways to keep house smelling nice & clean 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌻🌻🌻💐💐💐

Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.
Best wishes a long to e fan Pina.❤❤❤❤
Great ideas and I’m going to use them in my home! 😊
These are such cool ideas! I love the use of essential oils because I am sensitive to a lot of scents. I have also heard of these scent sticks and they work pretty well! Cannot wait until I have a house to use these hacks on.
Love the entire video
I just subscribed to your channel and I am glad I did. You have so much cleaning ideas which I find interesting. I even wrote down the essential oils for my diffuser. I have to buy the oils. I like your idea of glass jars to put tide pods, fabric sheets etc. Great idea. Your video is so helpful. Thanks for all your ideas and household tips! 😊🍁🇨🇦👍
I use an oil diffuser with patchouli and clove essential oil .. but I also put zoflora or fab conditioner in sometimes and the smell is amazing
Method cleaners are my choice too. They make one specifically for granite and it smells amazing.
Love the Dry Shampoo spray for shoes🥰
If you wear clean socks you shouldn’t get stinky shoes.
@@abutterfly7975, I always wear clean socks & I don’t have stinky feet...just sharing some life hacks✌️
It’s called a Mum! ❤️ Love them. I work in a flower shop. 💛
Interesting and motivating. Thanks for sharing such useful tips.
I just found your channel and love it! I love my essential oils. When working (I work from home) I use peppermint and lemon combined at my desk. And of course when ready to go to sleep, I use lavender.
Awesome tips!!! Thanks for sharing! 👍🏼🙂
Rubbing your furniture with dryer sheets? GENIUS!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Great ideas which I will use. I use baby wipes to wipe leather and vinyl furniture, plus lamp shades. Leaves a very nice smell and cleans too.
Great idea
This was so nice! I have cats so I'm always looking for ways to make my home smell fresh & clean.
I love the fragrance of Florida Water and anise extract in the crockpot!
In the winter to get the stainless out of the house spray the furnace filter with a essential oil/water mixture. I also add tea tree oil to the mix.
While it runs heating the whole house it will freshen up the whole house! Plus tea tree helps clarify the air!
this is sooooo thorough and it makes my day thank you so very much
I love these kind of videos. Thank u
me too :)
Wow very good ideas. To keep the house smelling fresh& clean . I use fabric sheets in vases & under my pillow and chairs sofas .i have a some times stinky HUSBAND & a stinky 13 year old dog .☺ so any thing helps .gr8 video thankyou 💚
I feel like with all those different scented oils, laundry things, and sprays, it could get overwhelming. My head hurts thinking about so many smells.
I don't think that she uses them all at once. These are just suggestions about what you can do for each room.
It is not supposed to be all at the same time. Its either or…
Thank u I leave dryer sheets in the bottom of my trash can, under my fitted sheets, in my pillow cases, under my couch covers (which all unzip), I use waterproof pillows so that I can wipe them clean with a scented cleaner whenever I wash my bedding/throw pillows, I put Febreze Small Spaces cartridges in my kitchen, bathroom, & bedrooms.
@@meggy8868 that’s actually good to know. No joke, mice got under the hood of my sister’s car and chewed quite a bit of wiring. It was very expensive.
I use about five to eight drops of organic lavender essential oil but to a load in the washing cycle. This maintains fresh the clothes and also the washer.
Very helpful vedio dear , it's just adorable and easy method. Thanks a lot ...
Thanks for the video I really need that one cuz smell is something makes house a home
I watched this twice. Such a good video
